We recently were married here at The Milestone- Boerne, and I am still in disbelief how beautiful and well everything went. The staff was friendly from beginning to end! Ms. Jessica Scott was our wedding day coordinator and she was AWESOME! Ms. Scott and her staff went about and beyond to help make this day special for us. I recommend this venue if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful location. The venue is breathtaking and does not need much decorations due to how beautiful and well taken care of it is. Look, the venue is absolutely beautiful and come time I walked down the isle everything was beautiful and perfect for pictures. The venue itself is not the problem it's who's running it. They wanted to nickel and dime you for any little thing or try to add something on the total and hope that you just pay it. And I say this because it's almost impossible to get a response from anyone here. Come my wedding, like the 2 weeks before, I needed questions answered but never got a response from anyone. I called, I texted, I emailed, and if I could smoke signal I would have, and still got nothing. My mom at one point tried calling as "new potential client" option on the phone & that's when they would answer. But after awhile they stopped answering all together. I didn't even have a bunch of questions or was even a bridezilla. The only time they would reach out by txt AND email was when they needed you to pay. I mean they just came off as greedy. They even tried to charge me an extra $1K for nothing. Like actually nothing, and I eventually got it taken off but that is so suspicious. Come day of wedding they didn't bother helping at all for anything. We had to bring everything off the trucks and set my reception up. The "free coordinator" was really only helpful to rush me the entire night bc we had to be out by the hr before we are supposed to leave. So that hr was money wasted, bc every hr we stayed later was $600 an hr. But yea the coordinator just rushed us the entire night and my husband & and I barely had time to relax. I mean I know that a wedding is supposed to be stressful, not "my day" bc whoever tells you that has never gotten married, but we barely got time to relax. The icing on the cake tho was that they closed the buffet super early and then threatened us that if we didn't leave before our time was or if there was ANYTHING they had to clean up, we wouldn't get our $500 deposit back. 3/5 because the only thing I actually enjoyed was my ceremony and the little food I got to eat. We also never got an announcement to do cake cutting. Like no one got to see us cut it, very depressing. read more

Booked this venue the same day we saw it. It was everything we could have ever hope for and more. The service was outstanding along with the food, amenities, and coordination thanks to Gillian. The Milestone Boerne was a dream to work with for the 10 months leading up to our special day (not to mention the day of!). Everyone was friendly, professional, and willing to answer questions. The space itself is gorgeous, and the amenities are plentiful. Our wedding was for 100 people. The team worked with us to arrange and rearrange our floor plan (tweaking it up until a few days beforehand), and they even allowed us early access into the venue since the ceremony was at 12 noon. That meant so much to my bridesmaids and I. Everything went so smoothly and day couldn't have been more perfect. This is one of the most frustrating venues that I as a bridesmaid/ sister of the groom and caterer have ever worked with. It is an hour outside of San Antonio. The drive leaving the highway is trashy and unsafe. A single vehicle road for about 6 miles made it difficult to get to worrying that another car would come speeding in our direction at any time. The value for the price (8K) was very little. We were able to get the building tables, chairs, and the use of an ice machine. They offer a tiny refrigerator that was half full of expired products. The table in the kitchen was broken and wobbly. Our guests sunburned from sitting in the hot sun with no cover for an hour during the ceremony. There was no one from the hall to be seen to help with any questions we might have. When going into the office to find someone the woman seemed bothered that we had to ask something and was not helpful. Everything had to be outsourced and was difficult to get what we wanted. We had to settle for a lot of things because certain things we wanted were not allowed. The kitchen has not serving window and is very difficult to serve out of. Not to mention the construction the whole time during the ceremony. There were beeps and bull dozer sounds the whole time. The ceremony started at 4:30 on a Saturday and no one from the event center ever said a word about construction in the area. The trash quickly piled up and trash service was listed on the contract but no one ever emptied it. We were told in the booking stages that we were allowed to have kegs and a margarita machine but were told no by the only bartending service allowed. The bartending service told us that we could supply a blender but when we purchased one and took it to them we were told that there were no outlets to accommodate it. We were allowed into the venue until the morning of so getting supplies there was difficult to do and get ready in time. The grooms room and bride room was just that a room with some chairs. Not sofa and tables like some nice rooms I've been in just a room chairs a toilet and a curtain to change behind for the bride. I had to go and change in the bathroom with my kids because there was not enough room behind the curtain in the bride room to do so. They told us that there were speakers throughout the tiny property so that guests could here the ceremony anywhere they were but our guests that were overheated and had moved to the shade and side of the building could hear nothing. Parking a horrible. Gravel only parking making it very unsafe for guests in heels, some children, or elderly. We were shocked upon arrival that the online pictures and descriptions were so deceiving and we regret not helping the bride and groom more with their hunt for the perfect venue. However at the end of the night the bride and groom were happy and in the long run that's what matters most. But we would not recommend this hard to find (guests were calling constantly that they were lost) venue to anyone. read more

When you ask for a total they dont give it to you. They tell you one price and then once the future bride says yes to the place they add on another 20 percent. They say its a service fee to pay the employees. Ummmmmm isnt that what the 6,000 should cover? Then to bring in an outside caterer they charge you again. You mean because you dont make enough money you have to charge for us to bring in an outside caterer. Nope not doing that either. Then they charge you 500 for bartending which is fine but they wont tell you how many bartenders will be there. So if I have 300 guests I could possibly just have one bartender and then there will be long lines. read more

I would never recommend this venue to anyone. Several times before we started the contract, we were told there are no "hidden fees". There are SEVERAL hidden fees. We started off signing for 11K and the month before the wedding, the price went to 18K because of the hidden fees for children food, drinks and time. The $18k only paid for the venue, food and drinks. We bought the venue from 12 noon-11pm but because we wanted to have the ceremony start at 530 instead of 6pm like they suggested, that cost us another $2000. What did we pay the whole day of the venue for? There were several fees for the food and bar when we had to add 10 more adults to our count and then because we had a certain percentage of children going vs adults, they had to charge the children as adult plates/drinks. We were originally told kids were free, that the cost were for adults only. Had I known that, my invitations would have said no kids. Just a very frustrating process and I regret booking with this venue. I only give them 2 stars because the venue is nice but the experience with the team was terrible. All they're concerned with is money and making u pay more money. Several times I had questions in the process and it took forever to hear back, but when a payment was due, I would get emails and calls daily. Please do research before you book here. read more
