We have been customers with the company for several years. Christmas 2020 we noticed a change in how our lights were put up. The house didn't light up at the same time and/or didn't light up at all. We called once for someone to come back and check. By the time someone did actually come, without letting us know they were coming, the lights were back on. We figured it was just a fluke in the service. It wasn't. Our downspout to our gutter was backing up during heavy storms, which was making our roof leak. I called in to discuss with the receptionist, and told her specifically what was happening. Someone came out a week later. My husband met him out back, and explained the problem. 30 minutes later, the man, who we now know is the manager, advised us the gutter was cleaned, not the downspout, and that the problem was fixed. My husband tried several times to tell him it wasn't the gutter, and that it was the downspout. The man advised my husband the downspout was clear, and that he ran the hose and it didn't leak. Sure enough, one week later, we had a heavy storm, and the gutter backed up, causing our roof to leak. I've attached a video of the "repaired gutter". I called in. The receptionist said they would need to measure and replace the whole gutter. It took another week for them to come back. When he came back I showed him the video of the downspout leaking. He tried to blame my husband and said my husband explained the issue wrong. He said he would need to change the downspout and that he would need to reschedule. It took several days for me to get a response when I requested the manager. Turns out, he was the manager. I was so frustrated with the service, but because they had my money I just wanted them to complete the job. He called me back and basically said he was refunding me and to find someone else. We ended up doing the job ourselves and it didn't take a professional to see that the downspout was clogged, which is exactly what we had been reporting. I've attached photos of the very clogged downspout. It turns out the company that we loved was sold to these guys. The owner moved to Texas, which explains why our Christmas lights and gutter repair were not at the level of service we are accustomed to. Moving forward we'll be finding someone else. read more

Benjamin was a perfectionist, and always did an immaculate job. However, he has sold the business, and the people that came to my house Left many things undone, leaned their ladder on my neighbor's car, And were extremely rude to her. Window screens on the right side were Not cleaned, and one has fallen out several times. We had a dislodged gutter that was causing a leak in our downstairs bathroom. I found Ben & BluLadder on Yelp and scheduled an appointment on BluLadder's website easily and quickly. Ben arrived an hour earlier than scheduled, called ahead of time to let us know, did the job of repairing and cleaning our gutters, and gave us a better price (based on his packages on his website) than what we were quoted for originally. Since it's a pandemic he did not stay to talk beyond telling us he was finished but followed up with calling us back to tell us about the job and answer any of our questions. Found this company on home advisor which I'm so glad I did. Benjamin has been such great help to me. He holds great conversations lol very interesting, I respect what he does an how he does it. He is Very honest Very Nice Very Professional He called me a day later after I requested quotes from home advisor. I scheduled him right away to clean my home gutters. He emailed me 2 times prior to the schedule appointment to remind me of the day and time. Also sent me a paid receipt right away as well as a follow up email to thank me an my husband for using his service. I mean you just don't get this kind of customer service these days. I'm very happy with his over all performance it took him about 30 min to get up there an clean my gutters which wasn't much he said there was a little birds nest up there which he removed. John and his partner showed up on time they were very professional and very courteous. They did a fantastic job everything they moved to get to the windows they put back where it belongs. I have 30 windows that were cleaned inside and out and the price was very reasonable considering it's a two-story house and they has to use a ladder for the outside. I had Blueladder come out to clean my gutters but turns out I had a bad roof problem that i was unaware of. They took pictures and showed us the issues and said they could fix it. I checked with other roofers to get an estimate but because it wasn't a complete roof job, they weren't interested. Blueladder not only gave me a reasonable estimate, they fit me into their, already cramped, schedule.
