Wow! I've been to every tapas restaurant of note in the Seattle area and this is the best. The food is simply great. I've had the mac and cheese with bacon, short ribs and crab cakes. All great. The warm bread with tapenade and oil with balsamic is really good too. The cocktails are amazing and their vodka is great both straight and infused. They have a nice selection of local whiskey. I'm not a gin fan but I'm told theirs is great. The interior design is hip and very well done plus it's on the waterfront. Finally, the service is fantastic. You call tell they handpicked their team based on passion for the craft. Heather and Andrew are artisans behind the bar and can educate you about the spirits and know how to make a mean cocktail. I haven't met the rest of the crew. You can feel their passion for what they do and their belief in the vision of this fine establishment. This is how you do it. This is excellence. read more

What an awesome place! The owners are super friendly and happy to talk about their distilling process, how they source their ingredients, and all the fun stories that go with setting up their operation (they opened their current location about a year ago I think). They're located right by the water front, which is awesome because of the views and because you can grab food nearby. The space is cute and you can buy vodka right there (or even a "baby blue" if you don't want a full bottle). Highly recommend going. Can't wait to try their gin! read more

Where to start! What a WONDERFUL place. The drink selection is absolutely beautiful, with a wide range of classic and unique cocktails. Their infused vodkas are overwhelming at first but the friendly bar staff is excellent at helping you narrow down the options. The food menu was a bit pricey at first glance, but upon our order arriving we knew that it was worth what we paid. Fresh, quality ingredients obviously put together by a chef who knew what's up. WOW is the word!!! I came here for a tour and tasting. At first, I was skeptical about drinking vodka or gin and I must say that I was blown away! I've never had a vodka or gin that I could stand to sip, but this place really has the craft to making a fine vodka so that you can actually bear to sip on these delightful libations. I had their version of a mule and it was SO amazing. I asked the waiter Kyle to spice it up and he topped the first one by adding plum bitters even more amazing. The food was good as always and the drinks tasted SO fresh I've hit up all my friends to see who wants to go back next week. My sister got the mojito which was really good but even better when he "spruced" that one up too. He was so chatty and friendly and knew exactly when to pop in or what humor to use. Delicious food. Nice ambiance. Great cocktail selection. This isn't a huge place but is very personal. The distiller even came by to ask if we needed help making drink selections and recommended a good bottle of wine. I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a nice evening. Tried to go to this place several times and either was a private party going on or closed. So finally the third time we made it. I was a little disappointed for my first time! The cocktails were delicious, fresh, and tasty I was just underwhelmed with the food. I ordered a caesar salad and smoked salmon chowder. The salad was so bland hardly any dressing you couldn't tell it was supposed to be a Caesar. The chowder I could've done better at home. Too many potatoes, very bland just looked like flaked salmon and potatoes and hardly any broth at all. Would like to go back again but better for happy hour and appetizers. Stopped by here after dinner Saturday night for a cocktail to celebrate our anniversary this past weekend. So glad we did! This place is awesome! We already knew we liked their gin - did a tasting a few months back at their previous location. Their cocktail menu is fun, funky & delicious! I ordered the maritime mule and the hubs ordered the halcyon days. The mule was one of the best I've ever had - house vodka, local ginger beer (Cock & Bull from Mukilteo) muddled with strawberries & orange. Out of this world! The halcyon days was an even better gin & tonic - made with local Kina tonic (YUM!) and grapefruit with a sprig of rosemary. Prices were on par with any restaurant/bar serving specialty cocktails and well worth it! The atmosphere is hip and trendy and just want Everett needs! Can't wait to come back and see what their fall libations look like! read more

Awesome! Favorite place for craft cocktails anywhere near Marysville/Everett. We have had plenty of cocktails to say we haven't been disappointed. The food is great we have ordered from both the standard menu and rotating chefs menu and everything has been great. When things have not been to our satisfaction they were prompt to remedy or comp something on our bill to our satisfaction(clams didn't all open (1) time). I recently had the good fortune of having cocktails made with Halcyon Organic Gin. In a word-Amazing! John is a Gin genius. This is my new favorite thing. I highly recommend you try it even if you have never considered yourself a gin drinker. Add the fact that it is organic and responsibly produced to a great product makes me love it even more. Love this place but the wait staff needs an overhaul. Servers don't seem to know the drink specials and seem disoriented, had to ask 4 times for water, never got napkins, and the first time I never even got the cocktail I ordered. The drinks are just yummy but it makes it hard to want to go back again. I don't mind the prices, but I do mind poor service. read more

Went back for a 2nd time (the first being a quick snack and was fine) the atmosphere is inviting and with this visit it was with friends and a full meal with drinks as well sampling of there gin and vodka. Sorry to say they missed the mark in a number of areas to the point I won't be going back. First off I am a Gin expert and after sampling there Gin it was truly one of the worst products I have ever tasted, there was no Juniper berry at all as well it did not taste like it was finished. The waitress convinced me that they would make a drink of my liking after I explained I was a Gin and Tonic type, she brought some cedar drink concoction that tasted like someone poured a cup of sugar inside, I let others try it as well same response. Thus I gave it back, asked for Hendricks which she was appalled I would ask for another brand of Gin so I got a glass of bourbon on the rocks.. PS the other drinks to the table same response and yes we paid for all..The food was good, not great and not bad so my thought is this, do one thing perfect and in this case your trying to do too many with staff that can't make a cocktail and the servers should be more inquisitive as to your likes and dislikes. went for dinner and drinks with a few friends. I think the place is probably good for craft cocktails & watching the sunset, but the food was terrible. My friend and I both ordered the mac & cheese, and we both agreed it was the worst mac & cheese we've ever had, including the stuff out of the box. Another friend said she didn't like the burger. The service was just below "okay;" our server was friendly, but frequently absent, difficult to gain her attention, and had to be reminded of a forgotten item. I ended up leaving early because of my experience, & afterwards was told by a friend who stayed that the server determined her own tip amount of 20%, which is not unreasonable, but more than the service warranted. I don't understand what happened there & since I had left by that time, am unable to comment knowledgeably on it. Why weren't my friends able to decide their own tip amount? Was there a tip policy not clearly explained? I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation (& its possible I completely misunderstood my friend), but nonetheless, it was the icing on the cake. I may return for drinks & sunset viewing, but I'll be making sure I understand their tipping policy, and I won't be eating any of the food. read more

Went last Sunday afternoon for the first time. We sampled both the limoncello(AMAZING) & the Blood orange infused vodka(Crisp & Refreshing). Both of us decided on the Sicilian soda, we both very much enjoyed! Bartender Maggie is talented and very knowledgeable, Really makes a delicious drink! What a great addition to Everett's waterfront. Conveniently located next to Scuttlebutt and a stones throw from the water. Highly recommend the Distiller's club sandwich and the crab salad! Bluewater distilling is beautifully located on the water and produces some exceptional spirits. I stopped by for a quick tasting and was greeted by the owner John. He is passionate about his product and walked me through his vodka, 100 proof vodka and gin. The 100 proof vodka was very smooth but the gin was the standout!! Distilled over an open flame, made with all organic ingredients with a citrus forward profile it's easy to see why it is so highly regarded. If your in the area definitely stop by. read more

I've been to Bluewater on multiple occasions and I've always gushed about their decadent drinks and delicious food. It's sad that I have to give them a one star, and all because of my recent experience with their waitress: Tammy. (I think we can mention names on yelp) Went in with a group of seven adults and a three year old at 2:00 pm on a Sunday, didn't look busy. As soon as we walked in the door our waitress told us that she would clear a table for us. She then moved a group from a table to the other side of the restaurant. There was an open table right next to the group, so I'm not sure why she had to move an entire group of people. After she helped a couple customers with bottle purchases and taste testings ( 5 minutes later) she wiped down the designated table for us to sit. She left for another five minutes without asking for drinks, so a member of our group found drink and food menus for us to share. Tammy finally came back with the menus and left again. When she came back a second time, she took our orders but seemed agitated with the three year old. The young child asked for an apple juice, where Tammy briskly responded "We don't have apple juice", without even giving the little girl another option. We kind of day in there in awkward silence before I asked what other options they had: orange juice. Great! Everyone else orders drinks as well. 10 minutes later we see Tammy making our drinks. She arrives with the drinks, only the juice for the toddler was literally a third of the glass filled. Don't know if there is a orange shortage, but it just seemed tacky. At this point we've been sitting for a half hour and she finally takes our food order.....which took an additional hour to get. Yes, I understand the food is locally sourced, and yes, I understand the kitchen is small, but I've been here before when the place was actually busy. I also noticed as soon as I mentioned that I've meet the owner, John, (who is a very gentle and hospitable person) Tammy's demeanor changed. Like, she was actually being chatty and nice to the toddler. Doesn't justify and save a good tip and review. I promise to write a five star review as soon as our waitress (Tammy) treats guests like people and not second hand citizens. Perhaps ethics and human resource training? As mentioned earlier, the food is generally very good. The salmon chowder was watery and lacked flavor. read more
