I called a number of places and two agreed to come Saturday morning to diagnose the problem. One was Pacific Air for $250. The other was $285. I was disappointed that I would have to wait until Saturday as temps at night at that time were in the 30s. Pacific Air then called me back and said they would send someone Friday night. Eric showed up around 7:30 pm, diagnosed the problem and was able to restore heat in the meantime, although not ideally as the fan would need to run 100% of the time but he informed me of that. It took a few days to get the part in but Eric returned today and got everything 100% back. I really appreciated that they heard me about being in a freezing house and getting someone out late on a Friday night. It cost a fortune but I suspect anyone else would also charge exorbitant prices based on the other company being $35 more expensive just for the diagnosis. I hope I never need them again but if I need someone, I would call them.

The technician turn on the air conditioning and went to the back yard. And come back to me said the compressor is toasted. The sound for that compressor is not right bra bra bra. I know the compressor.is working. The compressor run for 30 second and shut down wait for 2 minutes will start again and it shut down after 30 seconds, and it has good pressure inside the compressor. I paid $130 for that useless system diagnosis report. I have another guy come to check. The guy went up to attic, then he find that wet sensor is dead. That is the problem, $60 fixed. We did hire them to complete the following work : replace and upgrade our 40-year-old electrical panel, add several outlets to the outside of our home, correct the GCFI outlets inside our home. While doing the work in our attic, they found mold high up on our roofline and snapped a photo for us-saving us from that mess on many levels. A crew of four qualified hard-working electricians were at our home for two full days. Following the work, the cleanup was impeccable. They left it better than they found it.. A bonus was that they made all the arrangements with Puget power, including a follow up inspection. We are CONFIDENT our home is electrically safe and sound. They were very detailed in their estimate, which was fairly priced. Did I mention how polite and patient they were with our many questions?
