November 2019 was when I finally felt ready to seek a professional to guide me on my health and fitness journey. I found Prime Performance Fitness Studio online and decided to request a free consultation. Jose Ramos, who is both the owner and my personal trainer, reached out to me immediately and was flexible when working around my crazy schedule. I remember on the day of my consultation, I sat in the parking lot and thought "this is going to be so much work, you still have time to turn around"... Yes, I was that nervous! Not turning around that day was the best decision I've made for myself and my health. Jose is AMAZING! He made me feel completely at ease. Walking into his gym, which is beautiful and clean, I felt I was on equal terms, yet still had a lot of work to do myself. He is incredibly easy to talk to, relatable, understanding and most importantly, makes working out FUN! Jose loves to share pointers and display all the knowledge he has for his passion- fitness. He is always making sure I feel confident in the techniques he is showing me. Fast forward 3 months and I was already down 30lbs, lost over 20 inches off my entire body and felt stronger than ever! This was hugely in part of him! His specialized exercise plan, motivation, patience, knowledge on nutrition and (most importantly) his energy everytime I wanted to give up is exactly what I needed to push through! He has changed my life for the better and I would recommend him to anyone. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, give Prime a call!

This is true in many cases, however, it's far from the truth at Tailor Made Bodies. Aaron changed my life completely! At first, I was worried about becoming codependent on someone to motivate me to work out. I was worried that I'd only feel encouraged to work out with him and I'd walk out of the studio not caring as much without his presence! This was so false! Since day one with Aaron, I'd walk out of the studio excited to do more on my own and that's the goal here-- to guide you into becoming self-sufficient. I was a little too excited actually, so much so that I was eager to bite off more than I can chew at times and that's coming from someone who was intimidated. I came across TMB, while researching, during a plateau in my weight loss journey after a major surgery. My friends told me the gym would help with my plateau, but I didn't know a single thing about the gym outside of the treadmill. Cardio was already the only workout I was doing at the time, I feared people judging me at the gym due to how I felt about my lack of knowledge, and I even judged myself when I would work out alone at home because I had no clue what I was doing so I wouldn't be consistent due to private embarrassment haha. Thanks to Aaron, I'm super comfortable and familiar with equipment and no-equipment workouts! I go to the gym with confidence and when I work out at home, I don't feel like a clown in my own company (haha)! In addition, I've reached my weight loss goals AND I've been maintaining it for such a long time without now! Lastly, CHARACTER. It is so important to me to mention the character of my trainer. Aaron didn't only care about me as a client, but he cared about me as a person. It's important because realistically our personal lives do impact everything we do and in life we won't always be the non-stop working machines we want to be. Everybody has their setbacks because life throws curveballs. He's offered an ear, taught me how to normalize those days, and taught me how to pick myself up to maintain consistency again! My goal was to lose weight so I can throw myself back into the world after quarantining for so long and be the best version of myself. As of now, I feel like I got my life back. Thank you so much!

His other instructor, Kate, has classes that are similar but mix is different: more aerobic and with strength mixed in. What I like is coed group classes are scheduled daily, last 1 hour, and always intense. Sometimes I learn new muscle groups I didn't know I had :) Each day's routine barely repeats from a prior day so never boring. The workout begins with a warmup followed by about 8 exercise routines. Repeat those exercises as many times as you can in 1 hour. Target is about three cycles. I generally complete 1 1/2 - 2 sets. Joe' routines emphasize modest weights with repetition, stretch, balance, and good technique. He spots when a particular exercise is unsuitable for me, and suggests something else without losing the pace of the workout. I value the personal attention in a group setting that keeps cost down. Clientele is mostly female, older Generation Z and Millennials of all ages. Male and female, every age, and all degrees of fitness are welcome. Clientele is generally serious about being there. Gym is clean. And classes start and end on time. You don't make an appointment to be in a class. I recommend Joe and JD Core Training.

There is definite variety and for the most part you wont get bored. (Except for lunges. I've never done so many lunges in my life lol) FYI: If you are expecting 1 on 1 personal training, this isn't it. While you will get 1 on 1 attention it isn't a private session. You are usually doing your own workout while others do their own workout. Usually the sessions are in small groups no bigger than 6. Rich acts more like a coach than a personal trainer. But trust me he's paying attention LOL The only drawback is that its very expensive to be a member. 130 a month for 3x a week is a lot.
