Their membership is high if you compare it to other places in the area that offer the same exact, and even better, classes - at the time I joined, I did not know the Wayne Community Center offered those, and I wish I had because they charge 50% less than Spa23 and have amazing trainers. In all honesty, I'm disappointed at how they handled my last billing. I had decided to set up personal training sessions with a trainer named Ricky, I trusted him and my mistake was not asking questions when we sat down to sign the contract, however, as an employee, he should've made sure I understood what I was signing - he did not explain what his rates were, nor how much I'd be billed for the month, so they billed me $212! I had already moved and canceled my membership with them, but they still billed my account. The person that reached out to me to explain the situation was nice, but no resolution was given - I'm now 45 minutes from Spa23, my money was never refunded, and credits for a different service can't be given. I know people who had gone to Spa23 and ended up leaving, both trainers and members, due to their dislike of it and how much of a "chain management" it had, but I truly didn't think I'd experience that firsthand.

I mentioned to Ryan that these are the 3 things I like to use and would like some sort of discount until fixed. He told me no and to go use another LA Fitness. He showed no concern whatsoever for my complaints and seemed bothered to be pulled away from his friends/coworkers that he was chatting with. As far as the gym, it is very dirty with the locker room being the worst. The locker room had a very bad odor for several months. It may not be the gym as much as the manager Ryan that needs fixing. That is no way to run a company.

After disputing the charge with my credit card company due to the repeated unauthorized charges, I was told by ABC Fitness Solutions, the billing company, not to worry about it and that the matter was essentially handled. Now, magically they are no longer handling the account and I'm suddenly being sent to collections. Completely unacceptable. This company has been an absolute failure when it comes to customer support, communication, and basic account management. Instead of resolving a legitimate billing issue caused by their own system failures, they've chosen to harass a former customer over charges that should never have existed in the first place. At this point, I'd rather just pay the money and never deal with this gym or ABC Fitness Solutions again. That's how exhausting and frustrating this entire process has been. Avoid if you value transparent billing practices or competent customer service.

Since Kinnelon Sports and Fitness took over - there have been many improvements; including a saltwater pool and new AC. The staff has been extremely kind and professional. F45 has a few different membership options and offers student and military discount (same discount). The classes here are excellent! The atmosphere is extremely encouraging and it's nice to just walk in and have your (super efficient, 45 minute) workout planned for you.
