This place continues the upkeep of having poor service. I enter and man is on a personal call. I'm…read morelooking at bottles and he ends the call to ask me "what do you want?" TF I'm just looking. "What are you looking for?" Something with coffee aromatic. He asks me what I wear. I wear many things and proceed to search for my list. The seconds that pass are too much for him. He proceeds to give me two random bottles saying I'll like them? I tell him I avoiding anything with citrus and don't like anything vanilla. One bottle has vanilla in the name. I smell them and don't like them. He tells me they are not citrus and not vanilla. He wants to prove me wrong by giving me a catalog that list "citron" in both and vanilla in the one with vanilla in the name. I show him my hands that are now heeling from previous exposure to citrus. At this point he says, "you have allergies I can't help you."

You can't smell any of the good perfumes and they have no prices on the bottles so they just tell…read moreyou what they will sell you for. I made the mistake and when I realized I couldn't return it but only exchange I got some perfume that I wanted but she tried to sell me the cheaper stuff first and then gave me smaller stuff. Looked up the prices after and she charged me $3-$4 more for each one. Just warning anyone who wants to go thinking they can get a good deal. Go somewhere else unless you want to look up each perfume they try to sell you.

The manager was rude and tried to convince me that it was real until I showed the bottle and that it did not last on my skin. I've also noticed how unsanitary they are with their products, they keep them on the floor where they walk on and most of the packaging comes with stains on the plastic. Save your time and go to another place that IS worth your money!

DO NOT BUY FROM Perfumania stores, the fragrance is fake and mixed with other products. I bought a…read morebottle of the classic Aqua Di Gio by the legendary Gorgio Armani from perfumanistore in Wellington, Florida a couple of weeks ago, and the smell is very different from the same bottle that I bought at Macys for comparison, the bottle from Perfumania barely lasts a couple of hours. The color of the fragrance is also different, you can tell it has been mixed. Spraying the bottle purchased from Macys will last all day, but the one from Perfumania even after 8-10 sprays is gone in 2 hours or less, because it is mixed. I repeat DO NOT BUY FROM PERFUMANIA, THEY SELL FAKES PERFUME. Stick with Macys or Amazon, it will cost you more but it's real. I am going to send a complaint to the better business bureau so they can look into it, Perfumania is doing an illegitimate business and rubbing the consumers. If you want great legitimate designer fragrances with exceptional quality then stick with Macys. Perfumania operates as a discount retailer, focusing on offering lower prices than traditional department stores, but most of their products are mixed and faked, and they are very slick at it, it's hard to catch them, you really need to know your products well to catch them. They buy in bulk and intend to pass the savings on to customers but some of their products are mixed and fake. There were indeed articles in the Sun-Sentinel in the 1990s alleging that Perfumania was selling counterfeit perfume, and I believe so. It's a shame, because I really like the stores and their staff, but they can't be trusted, they are robbing the consumers. Back in the days, Perfumania, a Miami-based company, faced allegations that it had sold counterfeit perfume, specifically a $3.5 million shipment of counterfeit Drakkar Noir. While Perfumania initially believed the shipment was genuine, they ultimately chose to settle the case, stating they were "not in the litigation business. They can't be trusted. My heart is broken because I've been a Perfumania customer for years, it was my favorite store, I don't think all of their products are fake, but some are definitely mixed, call me crazy but I would still give them a 4 stars rating out of 5, but they lost me as a customer, they don't care anyway, I am unable to get my money back because I sprayed the bottle so much trying to determine what was going on, now I am willing to spend more but do not want fake products again, corporate greed is a disease.
