We'd come to Macy's because I needed to pick up a Clinique gift with purchase. It was a good day for shopping. This morning had started out sunny -- we even got to go to the pool. But it was starting to turn a bit grey after we had lunch and pulled into a parking space just outside the store entrance. When we came inside, I said to my husband: wow, I need to put my sunglasses back on! The tile floors were so shined clean that they were reflecting the ceiling lights. We easily found the Clinique counter I needed. I got the loveliest service from the gal working there. They had both the items in stock that I wanted and yes, the gift with purchase was still being promoted. Score. I didn't have my Macy's charge card with me, but they looked it up using my drivers license. I even earned some extra "points" for using my card today. I decided while in the store to head upstairs to their discounted department (the Backyard). So I found an adorable dress and a pair of designer flip flops . Both together were under $25. And then because of my Clinique purchases, they applied a $20 reward! Guess today was my lucky day... read more

I had an appointment in Boynton Beach & I also had a return to make at Macy's so I figured I would get my errands done in one shot. I ordered a Kate Spade watch online and even though I have several Kate Spade pieces, I hated my new watch. I could have mailed it back but I decided to actually go inside a Macy's, something I haven't done since covid started. I have been shopping in Macy's for decades and I must admit this store was disturbing. It is freaking filthy. Not dirty, but truly filthy. The carpets were stained and looked like they haven't been vacuumed for a very long time. The jewelry counters were in severe need of some Windex and the interior watch cases were dusty and decrepit. The store was surprisingly darkish, no bright lights like you would see in the other Macy's stores. Nothing is pretty here, the displays are a grimy mess and the sales associates are lazy and not at all helpful. Example: I eyed the new pink ceramic Movado watch I have been on the fence about purchasing. I asked the sales associate for the case size. She responded by telling me that she would have to look it up. I said thank you and that would be appreciated. She looked at me with such annoyance, it was obvious she didn't want the sale and couldn't care less about her customers satisfaction. This lady told me I should go online to find the information I was looking for. All I wanted to know was the case size, I wasn't asking for much. Unbelievable. No social distancing and I saw a few people (customers & employees) with their masks halfway down exposing their noses. Not cool. This was my first experience going inside a department store in over a year. I am disgusted and will go back to my online shopping. read more

The merchandise fine. The help very nice (when available). Not well trained. Shipped packages from the store to New jersey via Ups. No tracking numbers plus could not get any information as to when the p.a. have was sent an x when it would be delivered. Finally talked to somebody in customer service who spent over one hour tracing back the packages, What we learned is the the new sales force is not properly trained for the job they are expected to do read more

After going into this store several times I wonder what Mr. Macy's would think if he came back from the dead, then walked into this location. He would probably have a stroke. This is certainly not the store that he built from nothing into the magnificent chain of locations that was highly regarded throughout the world. I guess the story is probably one step above a Walmart. I am half a step below a JCPenney. The shelves look like they did yesterday when I was here. A complete train wreck. There is clothing all over the floor all against the walls. It looks like a hurricane blew through here. Clearly, the sales staff doesn't give a damn. When I was trying to check out with a couple of pillows I was wanting to purchase. I went over to register and asked the checkout and the lady there told me that they could no longer check us out. We have to go to the main checkout area. That was about a half a mile walk. When I got there, there was a long line and two trainees checking people out. Behind them was a wall of items sitting there that needed to be put back. Again, how would Mr. Macy feel when he saw all of this? This used to be a wonderful store my mother loved going to Macy's in New York. But this place here is absolutely horrible. Even Walmart keeps their shelves and inventory looking presentable. My mom went Macys in Boynton Beach mall and was treated horribly by some woman Betty who works there. my mom has been shopping at Macys her whole life, she spends so much money at Macys, and she kindly asked Betty to help her, because she can't see very well, and Betty said "Go hire a personal shopper" she refused to help my mom. Usually Saturday are targeted Sale days but Sunday's have just as many sales to find- Going a Sunday gives you more time to browse especially after Saturday with tons of clothing be placed in the wrong place or on hold- yes Sunday's are lucky as you find gems stored on racks and everything is more visual making it quicker to find deals read more

I remember once upon a time when Macy's was a place to shop. Now it seems to be more no more than a JCPenney. The quality of service the clientele as well as the merchandise just scream JCPenney. I'm sure Mr. Macy would roll over in his grave if he knew what his stores have become. The shoe department must have experienced a lot of shoplifting because they seem to question all their clientele while shopping for shoes. Overall it's a mediocre experience and I only go there when your preferred stores don't have what you need. Otherwise I would never step foot in Macy's again. read more

This location is one of the newer stores of Boynton Mall. I think they got it renovated etc. I liked the set up and it was fast to decide a gift for a friend. They had a good selection of makeup, jewelry, watches etc. Just your typical Macy's to get your necessary items and you can bounce. However the associates are in la la land. They made me go to multiple registers because I was trying to donate to pink pony etc. There was a huge confusion about the discount and the pin associated with the donation etc. I went to 4 different registers and walked around like crazy until finally a employee said they did not have anymore. So crazy! Please know your inventory and not waste a customer's time. Not sure if I will be shopping at Macys anytime soon. Maybe I will go to another department store instead.~ read more

I'm a fan because it's Macy's and it carries your staple Macy's faves and brands! But to be perfectly honest, its not my first, second or third choice for local Macy's. Service depends on the day and department. Shopped online for a dress that I needed sooner than later, called in and was told it was available. I arrived about 30 mins later, had the dress but they wouldn't honor the online price, that's fine... not going to argue policy but what I will argue is customer service. The salesperson was rude and the manager on duty was dismissive. Mom and I shopped at Macy's on a Sunday afternoon. The staff only seem to man checkout counters, there was no one around to provide actual customer service - in several departments we noticed this (housewares/linens, lingerie). There is a new Macy's outlet section on the second floor. It felt like a TJ Maxx. A special section just filled with leftover merchandise on clearance and tons of impulse gifts and cheap make up. The kicker? They don't take Macy's coupons in the outlet area. The only positive was the lady at the Clinique counter, who was lovely and helpful. read more

This Macy is ghetto but it's ok. But there's one lady upstairs name Valeria works in bed and kitchen department is very rude and BS. She's act like she's the owner of this Macy. I bought some bedding sheets at Wellington Mall change my mind brought it here for return 2 days later never been opened. Valeria gave me hard time. Told me to bring back Wellington Macy. This Macy's is a mess.... If you go high end retail, you'll find what you need... If you are looking for a moderately priced or sale priced item, you're the mouse and the set up is the cat... Things usually not in place, sloppy, but I keep going back... MAC is well located, shoe department great (also a hot mess, I will not lie) but it's a Macy's... got my luggage there, had it delivered home and it's one of those places you end up kickin' it when you need a "thing".... read more

Two floors of pots, pans, shirts, pants and more in this store. Many familiar name brands of house wears and clothing for men, women, teens and children. Pricing is more upscale compared to Macy's stores in other locations and the deals not as good. But, deals can still be found by those with a good eye. Certainly an aged store. Nobody gives me any attention when I go here. I legit have to walk around and figure everything out for myself. There's really nothing much to say. Went to purchase luggage. Made the purchase. Got home and saw it was 20 percent less online. Cancelled the order, but it would not let me order it online. Went into the store the following day with printout in hand. Spoke with an employee named Georgia. Was so loud and rude. said there was nothing she could do. After about 10 minutes asking for a manager, she finally got one. The store manager was not there so Dellilah, another associate said there was nothing she could do. Asked her for the store phone number to contact the store manager, and the phone number I was given was not a working number. What ever happened to customer service. I will never go into that store again. And thanks to their rudeness, I got wonderful luggage at Bronx Luggage at Festival Market. A far superior product, with wonderful customer service. Just back from buying shoes in the Boynton store, and smiling every mile of the return trip. I was blessed to be helped -- and I do mean HELPED! -- by Beverly -- who went out of her way to be sure I left a happy camper -- and Mana, courteous and professional, and both women an absolute asset in a store where it's not always possible to find sales assistance. They both made me want to hang out and buy more shoes -- but I came home to write a "thank you note" instead. I may just go back after Thanksgiving! read more

Wedding bells are ringing for some of my girlfriends and it's time that I shower them with some love. I knew exactly what I wanted to get for each bride and I got the gifts all in one trip. Most of the homeware items were marked down to over half off. The employee who checked me out didn't let me stand in line with my hands full of stuff before going on his break. He made sure that I didn't have to wait another 5 minutes in line and that is customer service, my friend! I love shopping at one of my favorite department stores coming out with a bargain. The store consists of two stores full of anything that will make a man or woman feel pretty. I couldn't help to notice some of the coach purses on the way out. They have a lot of them for the ones that go crazy for them. If only I could win a shopping spree here, then I would be in heaven. read more

The sales consultant, Mr. Jean Theo' was very helpful, patient and informative and helped me pick out a mattress that suited my needs. There was never any pressure. The mattress was delivered on the scheduled date on time and the three men who did the delivery could not have been more helpful. I generally love Macy's but this particular Macy's is my least favorite. My main problem is that the staff is generally unwilling to help. I go anyway because they have a MAC counter and they have a pretty extensive INC section. I live nearby so it serves it purpose I guess. read more

Don't waste your time in any section here - this mall has way better options than this store. I usually like Macy's but the experience here is so subpar, it is not even funny. All the reviews are true- the customer service here is terrible. I spent $$ online for a dress for a wedding and no one could help me process that return which Macy's itself had messed up. ("you have to call the 1800 number")...I ordered this dress in store a month ago since they didn't have my size and the package was lost in the mail. I called and said I'd like to go in and use my credit in store vs. online because the wedding is this month. Not one single person in this store could help me with this return/exchange. In fact, I was baffled by how confused the employees truly looked. I sat outside and called customer service to take care of. Take yourself to the Bloomingdales in the same mall, for dress shopping. Their customer service is AMAZING and you will spend the same or $20-$40 more - but it is worth it. Don't think I will ever step foot in this store again. I want to purchase a dress that has a yellow tag on it ($13), but when I go to her to check out, she removed the tag , scan the barcode and told me now the dress is no more $13, now it's $25. Worst Macys store ever! The clothes are of Sears quality and the new shoe dept setup is of Payless. I was told by the store manager, they had changed the dress code of employees 3 months ago... I could not believe the sales associate in the lingerie department. She was dressed in baggy worn-out blue jeans, an oversized T-shirt and uncombed messy long hair. At first, I thought she was a customer and I was on the wrong side of the counter. The unprofessionalism, rudeness, and confrontational attitude of the sales personnel representing this store was absolutely frightening. What was more unbelievable was that management would allow a sales representative, who is the first person a customer sees, come to work in this type of attire and be allowed to display the attitude and mannerism that was displayed. I had a terrible experience at the new Macy's backstage that is located on the second floor of this Macy's. Let me start by saying I've been a loyal customer of Macy's for seven years, I have a credit card from them and I have never paid late. During the holidays I spend a lot of money at Macy's. Last month I purchased a pair of shoes from Macy's backstage that fell apart within three weeks. The soles were literally coming off in chunks. I never return anything used but this is a defective product. When I took it back to the store I was told that their return policy states that if they cannot sell the item they will not return it. She told me I could not return a used pair of shoes with the nastiest attitude ever. I told her that I was not trying to return a used pair of shoes, I am returning a defective good. A pair shoes should not fall apart within three weeks. She told me to call the manufacturer, it was not Macy's problem. I asked her for a copy of the return policy and she gave me the back of a receipt. I asked if I could keep it and she proceeded to snatch it out of my hand and scream that it wasn't my property. Mind you, this is a blank receipt with a return policy listed on the back in light ink. I told her I needed the phone number to corporate. She gave me a fake number and walked away laughing. I contacted Macy's about this and I still have not received any response. As a consumer, I think I will take my business elsewhere. Macy's is selling low quality defective products and masking it with a restrictive return policy. But to be specific about this location, customer service is non-existent. Horrible service; and I am a verrrry easy going customer, having worked in customer service for the majority of my adult life. I couldn't reach anyone on the phone after literally 30 minutes spent trying so I wouldn't have to waste time and gas. I couldn't get anyone on the line. So I sighed and decided to take the 25 minute drive there. I'm shopping for wedding shoes and accessories. So I get there. The employees are clustered in different departments engrossed in conversations with each other so much so that I don't get so much as a sideways glance. I have never been inside this store location so floundered around to find the shoe department. Same employee scenario when I finally arrive to the department. No one even says hello to me though there are no less than 5 employees standing at the front desk talking to EACH OTHER with no one helping the 2 other customers looking or me. I approached and asked specifically about the shoe I was seeking. They said they didn't have it. Wonderful. Time wasted, gas wasted, and an irritation I didn't want intruding on my wedding shopping joy. Thank you Macy's. I haven't spent any money in your stores before and I certainly never will. read more
