I was looking to Spend some money and get few things but wasn't sure what to get. She was in a short fuse with me and looked pi seeds when I asked her questions. Would never go back there again. I have been to other Bluemercurys but had never shopped in the one in Bridgewater. I was looking for something to help with my aging skin and Gina, the manager, listened to me and suggested a few products that would help. She was very knowledgeable and helpful- not pushy at all. I bought M61 Vitablast C serum and Hydraboost cream. She gave me samples of some other products to go with what I bought. It was a very pleasant experience. A facial with Molly changed my life. Seriously. I'm a skincare and beauty junkie with a bathroom closet full of products - some high end, some rare, some super common - and my skin has always been ok. It's been pretty clear - no wrinkles, no real blemishes, but my skintone was uneven and I couldn't figure it out. I wanted a facial to get expert advice on how to get it sorted out, but I was worried a facial would just be sort of nice and pleasing, but not helpful. Molly was all of the above! I had no idea what to ask for - I just made an appointment and showed up. She asked me what I was looking for, and after I told her my concerns, she suggested dermabrasion. It carried a bit of an extra cost (and seems high for the area, which is why I've knocked off a star) - but to be clear, Molly was very up front about it, ensured I was ok with it, and didn't try to sell me on it at all. I was hoping that she wasn't just trying to upsell me - and she wasn't. She helped me understand where my current skincare regimen was going wrong, why my skintone was uneven, and made recommendations for products across various price points that could help (while she suggested some products that are sold by bluemercury, she provided a great, knowledgeable range). She was also very, very nice and easy to chat with - I really enjoyed my time with her! It's a week later, I've used up the samples she gave me, and started a new regimen that lines up with what Molly told me to do - and I couldn't be happier. My skin looks MUCH more even in tone, it feels better, and I will DEFINITELY go back to her. read more

I LOVE BLUE MERCURY!!!! This location has been 5 stars each time I was a customer, which has been 3 times to date. Each time, DANA greets me with a smile and offers to make product suggestions to best meet my needs. She makes me feel welcome and always represents the company with great looking makeup and hair! There is not a BLUE MERCURY where I live, so it is a treat to not only view all the beauty items, but the staff is ALWAYS very helpful and knowledgeable. They make great recommendations and even treated my customer loyalty to a small goodie bag filled with samples sizes. I had some waxing services done. I called about a week in advance to make an appointment. It was a fairly quick call/convo. The esthetician is only in on Weds at this location so I had to rearrange my schedule so that I could make this daytime appointment. The location of the spa is not in the mall its in a shopping center right next to the mall. I got a little lost getting to the location but eventually found it...no biggie... The store/spa is cute. Very reminiscent of Bliss Spa. I checked in and was immediately introduced to the esthetician, Lisa. We had a brief consultation before my actual appointment. The results, loved loved loved. Lisa was extremely personable and I was able to have an interesting convo with her throughout my session. She also told me she works full time at another location, Westfield, NJ. So I will be checking them out in the near future if I can not book an appt at the Bridgewater location. The price point is reasonable and comparable to what I would pay at Bliss Spa in NYC. My only complaint is that due to lack of staff they only offer certain services on specific days of the week (1 star demerit). Would I go back...YES!!!! read more

Worst service ever. I wish I could give it zero stars. I lost my makeup bag while away and needed to replace everything (which I told them when I walked in). Someone helped me briefly then left to look at something on her phone, while the other lady packaged up a box. Finally left after 15 mins of no one helping me while the store was empty. Last Monday, on December 8, I made a large quantity purchase at Blue Mercury store located at 640 Commons Way Bridgewater, NJ 08807. I made this purchase during the store's sale event that gave a discount of 10 - 20% based on the amount of product purchased. At my purchase level, I received a 20% discount. Since I made the selection one day before the official start date of the sale (as permitted by the store), I was not allowed to leave the store with my merchandise. I was told that my purchase would be charged to my credit card on Tuesday, December 9. The sales manager, Jamie, said she would ship my purchase to me at no charge for shipping. Later that evening, I discovered that my credit card was actually charged on Monday evening, December 8, instead of Tuesday, December 9. Not a problem for me other than if Blue Mercury was going to charge my account on Monday, December 8, why didn't they just allow me to leave the store with my purchase. Today is Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. It is eight days after my purchase and my products have still not arrived. So, I called the store and spoke with the sales manager (Jamie) to inquire about the shipping status on my product. After a brief moment on hold, Jamie returned to the phone and said my purchase had not been shipped. Further, she informed me that my purchase was the one and only of all clients who had accepted the store's offer to ship their purchase that had not been shipped. Following this, I asked Jamie had I not called would anyone have contacted me about my purchase not being shipped. She responded: "likely not". She then said she would ensure that my product is shipped tomorrow morning (December 17); which was the same assurance (shipped tomorrow) I was provided when I made the purchase on Monday, December 8. I've usually been pleased with the customer service I have received at this Blue Mercury store. However, I consider Jamie (the store manager) and all her associates completely dropped the ball in the instance; clearly demonstrating they are not about customer service. They charged my card; wouldn't let me leave the store with my purchase; offered to ship; and 8 days later, my product is still sitting somewhere in the back of the store with no effort on anyone's part to get the product to me. This is bad, bad customer service. In fact, this is absolutely no customer service at all. Because I can buy all the products I purchased at other stores, I will not be returning to Blue Mercury to shop for my personal grooming needs. Andrew Greene read more

Great staff - very helpful and knowledgeable. I had my makeup done for an event at this location and they did an outstanding job! The cost was a very reasonable $45, which is about half what you'd pay a professional makeup artist, and the results were just as strong. I felt beautiful all night at my event.
