We hired bluefin after consulting with 3-4 other pool companies. Bluefin was by far the most knowledgeable, budget friendly and the quickest to start and complete the project. We were never hit with anything unexpected during our build. Once we signed the contract construction started and it went exactly as was schedule. 10/10 recommend Jake and Glenn for your pool project.

We decided at the end of last year to put in a pool, met with a bunch of different companies (at least the ones that actually showed up) and decided to go with Bluefin based on some recommendations from neighbors that were also using them. Merrill came out for a quote and was very knowledgeable about everything, helped walk me through the process and explained the different aspects of building a pool and choices we needed to make. He had great recommendations and insight and was very realistic about how long the process was going to take. Some other companies gave a lot shorter time frames which didn't seem realistic at all. We had 2 other people on our street putting in pools with a different company, and seeing how long those projects were taking, these shorter time frames being quoted definitely did not seem reasonable. They had started well before us, and we almost beat them to completion. We just filled our pool this past weekend, coming in under the estimated time frame! I would definitely recommend Merrill and Bluefin if you're looking to put in a pool. The communication was great across the board, and the one time Merrill referred me back to the owner on something, Glenn called me back within the hour. I'm glad we went with Bluefin, love the design they helped us come up with, and with how the final product turned out! Thanks again!

After several quotes we choose Bluefin to complete our pool. Bret was our sales guy and he was great all the way through. Everything that BlueFin promised was delivered. Things did take longer than expected, however we knew that going in. Building a pool during a pandemic and supply chain issues can be a mess but they always let us know what was happening week by week. Our pool turned out absolutely stunning!! And to us that was the most important part. We would definitely pick BlueFin again.

Bluefin pools is a scam business. They don't reply for months, they don't care about customers at all, just use another company for your pool construction if you want your pool on time and if you want to work with professionals. These guys are definitely not.

After seeing two Bluefin Pools from our neighbors, we decided to call them out for our fourth (and last) estimate. Jake was the Project Manager on our pool but we dealt with Glenn as well. Both are EXTREMELY nice, down to earth, and made us feel like we had been friends for years. Our design turned out just as we hoped. The several different subcontractors that worked on the excavation, plumbing, rebar, tile and concrete were out of this world. The tiling took the longest but we had a lot of intricate parts to that aspect. And they got it right. The entire process took three months. Three weeks of that time we're at a halt because of some big rains that came and soaked our steep slope, causing the newly formed walls of our pool to cave in. Jake and Glenn couldn't have dedicated any more of their time to that hiccup. They were awesome, took care of it quickly, and all we had to do was wait for the rain to stop tog at digging again. (Shout out the master of the Bobcat, Mario!! ) All in all, It was a really neat process to follow. And now we get to enjoy our backyard oasis for years to come!

I had my pool designed by three different builders and bid on and ultimately the owner of this company, Blue Fin, has been in the pool business his entire life and his dad and his brother and he's very knowledgeable and when I got the bid sheet it looked solid although there were times where I was sitting waiting for things to get done, I started to get frustrated but in the end I realize they finished my pools in just a couple three months so I was very happy in the end I have had no problems with my pool or equipment and the whole set up. They were times when I thought my backyard was a complete disaster! Right after the dig there was dirt everywhere but then I remembered and saw other jobs and it all came together super nice and now we enjoy the pool all year long, I have also reviewed at least 2 to 3 friends and and they had a pretty positive experience, I've learned there's always some frustrations in building a pool regardless of who does it but as long as they perform in the end I'm pretty stoked.

Such a simple pool took a long time...... Turf done by another contractor.

Very hesistant to write a review with the feeling of retaliation from Bluefin since I have yet to hear from them regarding a broken skimmer basket and a "written warranty" by Mike and Glen stating it will be fixed if I request fixing within 2 years, well thats not happening because they havent returned any calls or emails or texts. Pool construction did take about 7-8 months October to the following May. There are a lot of design flaws. Concrete guy (B&C Concrete) was a joke. It's overpriced for a little extra side yard and concrete cracking everywhere! And it's only been 4 months since completion. My pool filter no longer primes, and my gague is constantly at or above red-line. NPT Products they used are beautiful and great. However, time management and communication are bare minimum. Glen and Jake, I hope you read this and finally reply to my emails or calls/texts. Legal action against your "warranty" may be the next step, and I really hope we can be civil with this instead. The pool did turn out beautiful, but now having to spend money to get someone to prime the pool or fix a crack/leak... should really be covered BY THE COMPANY WHO BUILT IT. my pool is NOT even one year old!!

We have enjoyed our pool for two summers now and love it. Glenn was amazing to work with! We signed the contract on a Sunday and the excavators were here on Wednesday. Great communication throughout the whole process. Most competitively priced. If I were to build a pool again, Bluefin would be the company doing it!

Water being a precious commodity (read expensive) here in North Texas, I reached out to the Leak Professionals. Mark got back to me in a few hours, explained what the process and cost of the various stages of leak detection would be and scheduled me out a few days. He arrived on time and quickly determined the cause (a leak between one of the skimmers and the side of the pool). I had Mark make the repair and he showed me how to do it myself should the other skimmer leak in the future. Bottom line professional, courteous and helpful. 5 stars.

Mark was polite, courteous and timely when he found an initial leak, he stopped with the initial…read moreleak and offered an estimate of $900 to dig down 1.5 feet next to the pool to repair the leak. I decided to save the $900(+) and do the job myself. Once I returned home from working out of state, I removed brick patio, dug down, put a temp repair on line and still losing water. Called Leak Professionals back up to see if they will come back out for the initial fee. I never received a return call. My wife called with a different number and was told, because we didn't hire them to perform the repair, they would not perform an additional inspection for the original fee. Hole is still open as I was sent back out of state for work and repair IS temporary but I find this blatant cash grab unseemly and would not recommend Leak Professionals because of it.

Absolutely amazing experience with The Leak Whisperers. Extremely professional, detailed, and…read morehonest. They used modern equipment to thoroughly test everything and were able to identify the actual problem very quickly. I initially thought I had a plumbing leak, which could have turned into a very expensive repair. Instead of trying to sell me unnecessary work, he took the extra time to investigate and determined that the plumbing was fine--the water was actually getting through cracks around the shower. His honest diagnosis potentially saved me thousands of dollars. He was also very empathetic, explained everything clearly, and even gave me a discount. It's difficult to find professionals who combine this level of knowledge, technology, honesty, and customer service. I cannot recommend The Leak Whisperers enough. Easily 5 stars.

No matter which plumber you like or how you expect to handle your leak, call Leak Whisperers first…read moreand pay the relatively low price for a diagnostic. There are a lot of different types of people out there with different types of knowledge and experience and different tools they use, but this should absolutely be your first call. I say that because it was not my first call and I wish it had been. I have a friend who is very plugged into the plumbing industry who recommended another plumber to me. So that plumber, who advertisers leak detection as part of his services as well, came and spent some time trying to localize it. He was here for almost 7 hours, much of which was diagnosing the issue and then doing a couple reroutes. When he left, we knew it was still leaking (probably a 2nd leak, we assumed), but it was late and the issue was seeming fairly complex. Before he came out again a couple days later, I asked Jason to come have a look. He walked in and it took him about 15 minutes to map out the pipes and identify the most likely source of the leak. We spent a little more time reviewing what the other plumber had done and talking about what the next steps should probably be. He was very professional about that process, not just crapping on the other plumber's work or anything like that. He also helped me get the lines labeled so it would be easier for me to know what was what. He clearly cared to see that my issue was resolved. When the other plumbers came back, Jason sent me several text messages with information I could share with them that he knew would be helpful. When it sounded like they were maybe not in alignment, he sent me a lot more information and strongly advised letting him call me so I could get us all on the phone together. I tried my best to be diplomatic about this process because I didn't want anybody feeling like their toes were getting stepped on, but ultimately we got on speaker phone with those guys and Jason explained what was going on. They were a little bit resistant at first and wanted to keep on with their own methods of exploring the situation, but it didn't take long for them to realize that everything Jason had said was true and that his recommended solution was the best course of action. So, ultimately, everybody ended up in agreement, the main difference being that it took Jason -- with his tools and experience -- about 25 minutes to know everything you could want to know. And the most important thing to know about this is that the plumbers I had been using were still good plumbers with decades of experience who I would still not hesitate to recommend. Jason just happens to have a particular expertise doing leaks day in and day out. The other guys were qualified and competent. Jason was just next level. Before they left, they commented that Jason had been really helpful and asked me for his contact information so they could see about using him on some of their jobs. I think that's a pretty damn good endorsement. Anyway, I know there are a lot of options on Yelp if you have a leak, but I don't see any reason to look any further from here.

Then the tech "Jayden" could not relight the pilot light as I turned the gas off. The tech was very unsure of what to do. Very inexperienced and not a great technician like I am used to from you guys. So now I still have no hot water after a 500 dollar 15 minute water leak fix. Very disappointed with you guys. I have used your company several times in the past. Next day I went outside and diagnosed the problem of the pilot light. The Pizo snap igniter was shorted out due to the water leaking from the pipe above. I ordered one on Amazon(9.00 bucks) and lit the pilot and the heater works fine. No new 3k water heater needed today! YEA! Before leaving I asked the tech if he turned on the water to the heater now that the leak is fixed----he said yes. Well he outright lied because it was still off after I lit the water heater back off. What a 180 shift from the competent technicians I usually get from these guys. Jaden was more interested in charging me 3k for a water heater and getting out of here as it was 5pm on a Friday. I might add that they have a leak warranty, but in order to get this, they need to perform a "Leak test" What do you know, the tech could not perform one! Shocked. - No warranty for me!
