The shrimp hibachi meal was solid across the board though the noodles were bland and forgettable. Kids meal was a hit. Chicken hibachi was good, had great flavor and it comes with noodle AND rice. The soup isn't miso soup, it's almost like a clear broth type soup. Sushi b combo was good and for $28, it was a decent price. The online price of $25.95 is outdated. The waitress said the white fish was "white tuna". The California roll was surprisingly good. Pleasant staff, tons of TVs playing different options and good seating. They serve Pepsi products too! You also get a little discount if you pay cash, ours was about $3 cheaper for cash pay. They have free sugar at the front so you can make your own cotton candy from the machine! It takes about 4 minutes for the machine to warm up, you pour the container of sugar in, and off you go. The next morning I am having severe food poisoning, all the symptoms through diarrhea, throwing up, gagging, not keeping food down, fever, abdominal pain, and sweating. Our server, Hayden (I think), is pretty funny as he's got some jokes. He played along with us and made our night even more enjoyable. Oh, it helped that they didn't have their liquor license in September 2023 so we got a couple of hot sake bottles on the house. We didn't care for the sushi much but the Tonkatsu was plenty and delicious. It comes with a side of sautéed veggies versus a slaw so that was interesting but I loved it. Staff was very attentive but still learning the menu. Speaking of menu, holy moly, they've got quite a menu. Lots of options! Everything we ordered was fresh, tasty and simply delightful. I would highly recommend the Butterfly Kiss and Sake Tower. I like this one. My wife and I arrived on Saturday, 3/29/25, at about 4:30 p.m. It wasn't crowded at all - which, in retrospect, surprises me. It's a great place. I had the tonkatsu bento and my wife had the shrimp tempura bento. Both bentos were quite large. The generic fried rice on my wife's bento was excellent (in most places, it's bland and makes you wish you had asked for the fried rice entree instead; but not here). She actually got 5 large tempura shrimp - which is outstanding. The server was excellent - wish I could recall her name (she had tats on her arm, but maybe they all do). The tonkatsu could have been a bit thicker, but the quantity was very large so it really wasn't an issue. Also, I would add hot yellow mustard. And wasabi for the dumplings would have been good. The miso soup was excellent and served very hot (many places serve it too cool). The salad had Asian dressing and was also good (the only improvement here that I would suggest is to dry out the lettuce a bit before serving because there seemed to be a lot of water in the bottom of the salad bowl mixing with the dressing; maybe it's from washing the lettuce). Anyway, I'm being picky here. The food and service were excellent. Oh, and one other thing - my white rice was a tad brown on one side, indicating it was very slightly burned from contact with the rice maker. Now I'm really being picky. But here's the bottom line: The food quality and quantity were terrific and the staff was great. We will be back. I'd like to try the sushi next time. read more

We are loyal customers to the Wylie bluefin location. Our daughter loves their rolls. We order often online and surprise her to her at college 30 mins away. Last night, I accidentally ordered online from the Frisco location. Totally my fault. I did not realize until I went to pick up of my mistake. I called Frisco to let them know that it is a 45 minute drive so I would not be picking up the order. I totally expected to eat the cost. The next day I got a text from the Frisco location showing a screenshot that they refunded my money. This was totally unexpected, but very appreciated. My sushi which was the summer roll never came out and others who came in after us were getting their sushi. I don't know if it was given to another table but it took over 50 mins of me not getting my sushi.
