I have been looking for the TikTok viral sushi burrito. I didn't realize all I had to do was ask that my roll not be cut. I was so excited to find that this place makes deep fried sushi rolls. The customer service was lackluster but they did acknowledge me. The decor was nothing spectacular, just typical restaurant esthetic. The sushi and all of the sauces were good stuff. I would go back anytime I wanted the deep fried sushi rolls. I'm excited to try other combinations of it.

Fried Rice with veggies, chicken & shrimp

I've been eyeing this place for a while. I was kinda scared to try honestly based off reviews. But once my barber told me it was decent I opted to try. I got the plate with fried rice with chicken, shrimp & veggies. The food was pretty good. I came in ordered and got it to go. Wasn't many people in there at all. I do wish the service could have been a little bit better. But overall the food is a great place to get your hibachi or Chinese fix!

Picked up food to go! The portions are great and it was still delicious when I got home. Order was ready before the time estimated on website and I'll def be back!

Great prices and large portions. I was very impressed with the packaging of our to go order. Very neat and super quick. I put in a door dash pick up order. It only took about ten minutes and was ready lickety-split. The chicken hibachi with rice and veggies was super savory and flavored so well. I loved the tender chicken pieces and veggies were seasoned perfectly. Giant portion. The sushi rolls were great. I enjoyed my picks. I really enjoyed it.

I got the hibachi chicken with fried rice and takoyaki. My bf got the hibachi steak. We ordered takeout and it took them 30 min to make it. I could've cooked chicken fried rice in that time myself. The chicken was very bland, and the steak was very dry. The fried rice was very basic, with no veggies and very little seasoning. The egg roll was a frozen egg roll and the takoyaki was frozen too.

Time i called in

I called in and told them I'd be there in a few minutes. I've been waiting for over 20 minutes for my order. I tell them I'm picking up my order and she tells me "a few more mins." They begin to start making my order even though i called in. They were annoyed because I asked why are they just now starting on my order. They said "more fresh". I won't be coming back here. I'm writing the review as i wait because i didn't receive an apology or anything.

Hidden gem. Quick fast service with generous portions. Poke bowls are our usual choice and always good and tasty.

Chicken hibachi was flavorless, including the fried rice that was technically was just rice with soy sauce.

Refreshing Surprise - Passion & Care…read more I was down the street getting a haircut and had a craving for sushi, so I opened Yelp, spotted Kanzi, and decided to swing by. I'm so glad I did. Kanzi is one of those refreshing surprises: an approachable neighborhood sushi spot that clearly cares about the details. They may not be trying to be an ultra high-end omakase destination with otoro and uni, but what they do offer, they execute with care, precision, and pride. The fish was clearly well stored and well cared for, and the cuts were clean and thoughtful. I tried the red snapper, eel, mackerel, yellowtail, masago, super white tuna with fresh wasabi, and one roll: the no-rice Cool Hawaiian. I'll post a few pictures as well because the presentation really deserves it. I sat at the bar and had the chance to talk with Hong, the chef preparing my food. I learned that he took over the restaurant from his brother and still visits sushi restaurants around DFW at least twice a week to keep learning, tasting, and improving his own craft. That told me everything I needed to know. There is real passion here. Hong believes the details matter, from a clean bathroom to the right Japanese knife, specially purchased for left-handed use. That kind of care shows up in the food and in the overall experience. Go visit Kanzi, sit at the bar if you can, and tell Hong that Tait says hello -- and thank you. Pro Tip: Kanzi is currently BYOB. There is a liquor store right across the parking lot, literally within about 50 feet. Walk in, head to the cooler on the far right, grab a cold bottle of sake, and bring it back with you. Kanzi has sake cups ready to go, which makes the whole experience even better.

My wife and I joined a group of ten for an awesome hibachi birthday dinner for a friend here…read morerecently. It was a Thursday evening, so it wasn't crowded at all. We were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken and delivered soon thereafter. Next up was soup and salad. The soup was simple but delicious, and the salad was crisp and fresh, with a sweet and tangy dressing that was a nice followup in anticipation for the main course. If you've been to a hibachi restaurant, you know that there's basically two parts: the show, and the food. It's not often that both of these parts are excellent, but Masu Sushi delivered on both. Our chef was a great showman, with some new tricks I hadn't seen before. His pacing was great, delivering the rice, vegetables, and meats in a nice cadence that kept us from getting too hungry, but yet, not too stuffed as we waited for the meats. The ingredients were all great - I opted for steak and shrimp, with the former being a perfect medium rare as requested, and the latter were large, firm, fresh shrimp with enough seasoning to bring the flavor, but not too much that they were salty or just tasting like the seasoning. Bottom line, we had a great meal that never felt rushed or too slow, and we had plenty of leftovers for the next day, which is important considering how much eating out costs these days. I highly recommend Masu Sushi for your next get together!

We did the cold option and the sake was super smooth. I got the regular spicy salmon roll ($10) and yellowtail roll($8). Both were really fresh and had big amounts of fish in each bite. They had hibachi, bento boxes, and other selections of wine/beer I'd love to try. Super affordable in the ktown area

We were immediately seated and our server, Si, took our drink orders and made sure that we had plenty to drink all evening. She was totally delightful and she looked like she genuinely enjoys her job. Our chef, insert name here, was also friendly, chatty and clever. He had all of the skills to entertain and amaze us while cooking our meals to perfection. Si brought our salads and soup, which were delicious. She made us feel special with ice cream for my wife's birthday and a photograph to remember the occasion. I ordered teriyaki chicken and, of course, chicken fried rice. Both were excellent, as well as the servings of zucchini, shrimp, mushrooms and onion that went with it. I didn't order the files mignon, because of a disappointment from a previous visit, but another diner at our table ordered it and it looked like a better cut of meat to my well trained eyes. I might have to give it another try next time.

We made reservations but noticed there were still plenty of earlier reservations available so we showed up and asked if we could just eat earlier. The restaurant was NOT busy. Many tables completely open and some tables less than half full. We were seated immediately which was great. We were seated with a sweet little family also celebrating a birthday. They had a little one with them and he seemed to enjoy the atmosphere. The server promptly came over and took our drink requests. Off to a great start! Or so I thought. She brought our drinks and took out dinner requests and then basically disappeared. We didn't get a refill until the end of our dinner experience and that was after we asked for refills. Not impressed at all given it wasn't even busy. However, my main issue is with the chef, the food, and the lack of entertainment you'd expect coming to Benihana. The chef prioritized the small child and did an onion train but outside of that - no excitement, no fun, no entertainment. Literally, just banged his spatula around and looked bored. The chicken was wayyy overcooked. It was rubbery and hard. Almost no flavor. I asked for spicy chicken and it wasn't spicy at all. You pay extra for the spice btw. The shrimp appetizer was served LAST! How is an appetizer served last? We've been several times before and that was one of the first food items you received after the soup and salad. The rice was bland. So disappointing. I was looking for a special experience with great food and all of it felt like an after thought. This place is EXPENSIVE! and we were treated like it was a McDonalds. Speaking of the meal, the meal we selected was supposed to come with green tea. We were never offered green tea. I expected it to come after the meal and was never offered. By that time, I was ready to just go. The only positive is - my son said his steak was good. ‍ I probably won't choose this place again for my annual birthday dinner. I'll go to the Melting Pot or somewhere else. To the owners: next time you ask if someone is here to celebrate, maybe actually take time to celebrate them. While I don't mind sharing focus with a toddler, it wasn't the toddlers birthday AND you had two birthday people at the table.
