Mexican Roll, Passion Roll, Salmon Roll
Kelsey E.

My teen is sushi obsessed and we came across this little place for lunch. It's tucked in a shopping center and doesn't look like much but once inside it's spacious and cute. We got a few rolls with various seafood options (crab, tuna, salmon) and they were all delicious (my personal fave was the "Mexican" with jalapeños, crab and avocado) ! My other kiddo and sister both got the chicken fried rice which they loved and it's a huge portion! The server was sweet and attentive and when we checked out we realized the regular rolls are 3 for $10 so we were impressed to have a quality sit down lunch for 4 for under $40 which is not always the case. We will definitely be back!

I've been here a couple of times now. I can vouch for the consistency of the sushi rolls and the service. I originally found them via Google after having a craving for a sushi roll. They had excellent reviews on Google and Yelp so I decided to give them a try. Thankfully I wasn't disappointed. I first arrived the first time and was pleasantly introduced to the lunch special 3 role for $10!!! This was great, be sure it allow me to try a variety of rolls. I went with the shrimp tempura and the Fantastic roll. The Fantastic roll consistent of deep fried salmon, cream cheese, eels, wasabi and spicy mayo. This was very good to me and I've since gotten every time I've been back. The salmon is fried perfectly and the flavors blend together very well. I recommend th Fantastic roll. The shrimp tempura roll was good, but nothing outstanding at the same time. I definitely recommend Love Sushi and I look forward to trying other rolls and menu items. The service as always been courtesy but I only order carryout.

THEY DO SUSHI RIGHT!!!!!! It's above my expectations blew me away honestly and this isn't an exaggeration. (Disclaimer I only eat baked tempura or fried nothing raw) how ever my rolls are usually expensive I feel as tho I got 4 for the price of 2 honestly. The quality is sooo good. The presentation was nice and they were really big too. The front seat was awesome I had no clue what I wanted and they were patient they helped me along the way.... The front desk deserve a tip jar of front as well they do amazing they make you want to come back. The inside is nice and quiet with a nice amount of seating I found my new sushi spot!!!!!!!!! You have to come and try it the specials are great!!!!

There was a wait at lunchtime, but that was ok. However, w once seated, the server didn't come over until I asked for one. When server came, she was very direct with no smiles, no matter how much I tried. The food came quickly and was quite good. No complaints there. The ambiance was nice, with a long row of seating at the sushi bar. Overall, it was ok but the server just seemed to not want to be there.

My mom and I have a standing date here once a month after we get our nails done. We continue to come back because everything we have tried is FANTASTIC the staff if kind, and food is always fast. We've been here since before they remodeled the inside when they still had mountains on the walls, but the consistency of this place makes it really special. The food is great, the price is great, and for us it's become like a home away from home.

Great service and prices. We did the 3 for $10 regular roll lunch special. The sushi was incredible

Overall a 4.5, first time here! The sushi was pretty good quality and was fresh, and it was generous on meat like crab, shrimp, etc. The best thing about it is the price though!! $11 for 2 rolls for lunch or $13 for 2 rolls for dinner!! So affordable and the food was pretty good!! I got their California roll, enjoy roll, and the fantastic roll. The California is pretty good but standard, and the enjoy roll was like a deep fried version of the California roll with extra sauces. It was also pretty good. The fantastic roll however was super delicious!!! It was a deep fried roll with salmon and cream cheese, and it came freshly fried and was super warm, so good! The miso soup was also pretty good, which I ordered on the side. Very nice flavor. The service was awesome, the waitresses were really friendly and food came out relatively fast. They brought out everything we needed and it was great. Ambiance is like a typical Japanese diner, nice and new, but not super high end. Great place for a quick bite of sushi at super affordable prices and good quality!

We live in Aubrey and this is the best closest sushi spot (20 min ish with no traffic). The prices are pretty great as well! We almost always order a fried rice because it's super filling. Their fried rice is delicious. I personally think they either don't add enough chicken or maybe they should just make the chicken pieces smaller so it feels like more chicken. Either way for $12.99 or so, totally worth it. I always order the butterfly kiss anytime we come here. It's raw salmon w/ crab meat and a dot of sriracha or some Hot sauce on top. Nothing better than raw salmon. Literally nothing. Raw salmon is so soft and has this delicious taste. Try it! $14.95 Shrimp tempura I did not try because my hubby loves shrimp so I let him enjoy his. $7 The new twister roll was the star of the show. I've often seen this roll called the "temptation" roll at other sushi spots. It has shrimp, cream cheese topped crab stick, crab meat, w/ the 3 magical sauces: eel, spicy Mayo, wasabi sauce. $11.95 We have eaten inside before and had a pleasant experience as well but we had our with us so obviously just got it to go. We will absolutely be coming back! It's obviously not the cheapest option at about $50 for what I listed above but for what you get the price is completely fair (and on the cheaper side especially the sushi prices).

We seriously have some hit or Miss service in this area lately (mostly miss) and this place was a breath of fresh air. The place was clean and tables were bussed- several seats were available at the sushi bar. There was fun 80s music playing, it's a hip little spot! EVERYONE noticed us, greeted us, and stopped by the table to see if we needed anything. The sushi chefs worked quickly with our rolls, and LET ME TELL YOU about this avocado bomb! *so good, don't miss it* If you're a light eater, you could probably get away with it as a meal (it's in the appetizer section.) We loved it. Will definitely be a regular at this spot. Thank you all!

My family loved coming here! We all left so full and happy! Their prices are unbeatable, especially for the quality. A favorite was their tuna tower. Beautiful and tossed table side. All of the rolls we had were delicious and the desserts were so good. It was my kids first time trying mochi and we will have to be back soon because they're already asking for it again. You also must try the Cajun edamame! It's quite addicting. The servers were very attentive.

Good sushi and great service at an affordable price. It is a bit of a drive for me to get there but if I'm in the neighborhood I'll stop and eat there for sure!

This place has great sushi and fried rice. The service is very fast and they have great dinner specials. Nothing too special but it's convenient and reasonably priced!

Overall, the $75 AYCE omakase is a great deal and me and my partner were satisfied after the…read moreinitial courses. You get 90 minutes to finish the omakase and order nigiri and/or handrolls. Service We arrived at 5 on a Thursday evening, right when they reopened for the night. We had a reservation and were seated pretty immediately. Bar or table seating, you can get omakase either way. There was not a lot of seating available (they had half the restaurant blocked off), so it felt more intimate. The overall lighting is dim with a small table lamp at each table. We had a server who was very friendly and personable and another one who was a bit more matter-of-fact. Though it wasn't a big deal. As others have mentioned, after the initial omakase experience, the endless nigiri seemed to artificially be slowed down to prevent over-consumption (my perception, but it could have been due to limited number of chefs), but in the end me and my partner ate our fill and couldn't eat more (comfortably) even if we had more time. You get 8 nigiri in the omakase and I ate 24 more pieces (comes in sets of 4) after. So I ate 32 pieces total. I think the preset servings finished about an hour in and then we just kept getting more nigiri for the remaining 30 minutes. Food The food was amazing! Miso soup can sometimes be very salty, but this was just right. The amuse-bouche and cold tasting were excellent. Then comes the nigiri. In the omakase, we received (in groups of 4): - Akami - Madai - Hirame - Hamachi - Shima Aji - Kanpachi - Escolar - Albacore In the endless nigiri afterwards, we also received: - Salmon - Hamachi Toro - Sweet Shrimp - Chutoro - Eel - Otoro - Kinki - Scallop with Uni Most of them were excellent. It came down to personal preferences, rather than preparation, for the ones we did not enjoy. The first 2 rounds of endless nigiri were the new fish, and then it seemed to be on a loop (so the 3rd round of endless nigiri was akami, madai, hirame, and hamachi). I tried to get more otoro by ordering another round of nigiri (what would be my 6th extra round of nigiri), but instead, it looped back again to the beginning. Oh well, what can you do, it's the chef's choice. The handrolls were okay, it was a crab roll and a spicy tuna roll. Nothing too crazy to write home about. The dessert was an ice cream with olive oil and some crumble and fruits. I think it would've been great if there was no olive oil (again, I chalk it up to personal preference). Overall We loved it. We would come back and do it again! Hinoki is under new management (as of 3 months ago or so) and they said that they are going to start doing tuna cutting shows shortly, so be on the look out for that if you're interested!

Overall I think it's great. But couple of things take into count…read more 1. We went on a weekday night, not enough sushi chef working and just to finish the omakase part used almost 90 min, which was the overall course time. But the manager/waiter let us ordered couple more rounds of extra. 2. The fish was fresh and taste fine but overall the course is very underwhelming, all the nigiri taste way too close to each other. Almost can't tell the difference with each pieces. They also didn't use any very good ingredients during the omakase. Although the extra round had better fish/taste than the omakase itself

The food came out so quickly, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. We were especially impressed by the Deep Black Pearl it was tangy, crunchy, and packed with flavor! The Temptation Roll had crispy toppings that added such a nice texture to the softness of the sushi. My daughter loved her Hawaiian Roll, and the soup came out nice and hot. The seafood salad also tasted extremely fresh. The service was friendly, and we really appreciated how quickly everything came out. For a new spot right off 380, we were honestly impressed! It's so convenient, and we're definitely happy to have another great sushi option nearby. We'll be back!

The spicy edamame completely stole the show though, easily the most flavorful thing we ordered. The tuna sashimi was very basic and nothing memorable, but overall the pricing is fair for what you get. One small thing they should improve is the water situation. The cups are tiny, so you end up making multiple trips to the small water machine at the front counter throughout the meal. Very clean overall though. Overall, decent sushi spot if you're looking for something casual and reasonably priced. It's a quick sushi fix, not a night time dinner spot.

I tried but not my thing due to said sauce. The main was a chicken and steak bowl with noodles and veggies. They give you huge portions with a lot of protein which make the price justifiable. I wish there were more veggies and the 2 cups of sauce you get are not enough for that size so ask for extra. Finally for my fellow Coke-a-holics, this is an enemy operation (Pepsi). Generally speaking i may come back here. Not sure. It's kinda comfort foody and i do wanna give the galbi and one other item a try. It's a 3.5 star rounded up for me.
