If I could leave negative stars I would…read more I had high hopes when I initiated service with this business and it was the biggest mistake. I literally, only lasted 1 month of service with Adrian. This guy is very arrogant, and argumentative. In addition, he calls me and asks me if I have home owners insurance and telling me to file a claim for my pool pump. If I have home owners insurance I should only pay $100 and they will call him to repair the pump. I said thanks and hung up. I went online to pentair and found a licensed contractor through Pentair, and they came to take the pump. They were shocked at the extended of the damage of my pump. After further inspection, it turns out my pump exploded probably from these guys ignorance or maybe intentional to charge my home insurance for this. Attached are the photos and the message from the contractor. I would never recommend this business. Update: The final cost to repair $1,057.75, because In addition to the pump exploding, it cause damage to the plumbing.

I hate to rate 1 star ratings, but my experience with Daniel has been extremely negative. Daniel doesn't come regularly like Scott did, matter fact when our pool was serviced by Scott he maintained our pool weekly and made sure to take good care of us, now... we'll be lucky if Daniel even services our pool. My husband has tried to reach out to Daniel so may times thru text, but Daniel ignores it. Daniel continues to charge us for monthly maintenance and services, but does not service our pool at all. Our pool has become green and now we have to probably find another pool guy. Daniel is not an honest person and the integrity of this company is no longer something that is not valued. It's unfortunate, especially for us as the customers. I would no longer recommend this company to anyone I know or anyone looking for pool service. If I could go back in time and choose a pool company, it would not be this one unless the pool guy was going to only be Scott, unfortunately Daniel doesn't have the same work ethic like Scott. Daniel is a really nice person, but we are looking for someone to service our pool, not just be a friendly person.

Final Update on 9/6/2018 - Scott came by this morning and refunded my May payment in cash. He made…read moresure I knew that I was responsible for his Having to fire Daniel (Scott's son) and his loss of business due to my review. Hmmm, I'm pretty sure all that is the result of not doing the job you're being paid to do! I appreciate that Scott finally refunded my May payment because they didn't take care of my pool during May. I don't appreciate being lectured or blamed for your issues caused by your lack of concern and your son's failure to do his job. I am glad I have moved on. No more updates will follow. What a total disappointment My Pool Guy turned out to be. We kept them on when we bought our house and have some issues with Daniel not showing up because his truck was broken or he was in the ER. It became a habit and I had to start harping via text to get him to show up to service my pool which is what I paid for. Now, here we are one year later and he tells me he's going to come back the next day to clean our filters because of a lot of dirt and silt in the system. What happens? His girlfriend ends up in the ER. I called Scott about the no show because I'm tired of being treated like I don't matter and I hear NOTHING from Scott! Daniel texts me later and says he'll be here that afternoon. Ok, he shows up and cleans the filter while I'm gone but the next week his "new" truck is broken! NO SHOW AGAIN! I texted Daniel about it and he says he showed up later in the afternoon and serviced our pool. Well, we had five adults in our home throughout that day and no one saw him. My dog barks a lot to announce when someone is in the back yard and guess what? NOTHING! No one came in our backyard that day. I really detest being lied to! I have had enough! I told Scott via text that I am stopping their service because of their lack of service and told him I want my May payment refunded. He tried to act like he wanted my business at this point but it was too little too late. He has completely quit communicating with me and refuses to refund any money. Daniel came for only one service and came back to clean the filter after dropping the ball. A refund was a reasonable request. If you're looking for a pool cleaner, RUN! Scott and Daniel are NOT the guys you want. Scott only wants your money and Daniel doesn't have any work ethic and doesn't hesitate to lie to you!! I have already hired a new pool cleaner and after one cleaning, my pool looks better than it ever did with My Pool Guy.

I would give "100 Stars" if I could. Living in an area "between" larger cities and having a major…read morefailure of a pool pump, could have been a disaster if not for Kelly @ 4 Seasons. After countless "Sorry, we don't service your area" calls, I found someone who likes challenges and road trips. From Kelly having several of the exact pumps that I had decided on after much research, to be willing to drive several hours less than two days later, (earned 5 Stars just for that.) Kelly arrived with not just the pump but with "just in case" pieces and parts (1 more star). After some cleanup of my feeble attempt at plumbing and installing the new pump, it was time to turn on everything and see how it works...only it didn't! After some troubleshooting, Kelly concluded that the control unit for the pump was defective and likely needed to be replaced. Without any hesitation, Kelly was determined to complete the job by deciding to drive hours back to his shop, grabbing a replacement, driving hours back, and finishing the job (5 more stars). Luckily he didn't have to do that...during his troubleshooting, he had been trying to contact his contacts at the pump manufacture for advice. Just before leaving, he received a call from the manufacture that enabled the pump to be repaired in place. OK, this is where it gets really amazing!!! One of the reasons I chose this exact pump is that it has WiFi / Bluetooth capability...that been said, the manufacture rep was able to connect remotely to the pump (amazing part) via a device designator number taken from a decal on the pump and basically reinstalled software and rebooted it, REMOTELY!!!! Yes, it fixed it...(10 more stars for Kelly and the manufacture...Pentair by the way). To top that, the rep stated that he had just received the capability to enable the remote connection and that this was the first time attempting it...first time...and it worked!!! I apologize for being long, but I really wanted to give credit where credit is due...and 100 + star credit is due here, without a doubt. Needless to say, that everything is up and running and water flow and pressure are amazing...Thank You Kelly and rep, you saved the day or should I say weekend...did I mention that this all took place the weekend of the holiday that kicks off the swim season (for us anyway)...the stars just keep adding up!!! I will resoundingly recommend Kelly @ 4 Seasons to anyone needing pool repair done...you can count on him, he's professional & fair priced (worth every penny)...period! Joel with Pool-Perfection is AMAZING! We've had our pool for 3 years, all of which we've never had…read morethe pool been swimmable for more than a day or two at a time. Our previous pool guy was constantly shocking it, constantly working on the yellow algae, and it was always a light tinge of green. It looked like our skimmer never really worked but I'd finally been fed up with it long enough as of about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I knew it couldn't be our pump as the problem for that amount of time because when we moved in about 3 years ago it was almost a brand new pump, top of the line. I fired the old guy and gave Pool Perfection a call. Joel answered on the second ring, spoke perfect English, was able to give me a quote over the phone in about 30 seconds (as opposed to the other guys who wanted to schedule an appointment to come out and see the pool....taking up tons of time) and was able to get the pool sparkling clear blue in about 2 weeks. The first week he tested the filter and water and did a couple things to it. When he came back for the second visit, 1 week later it wasn't sparkling blue already which isn't what he was expecting. He took time to look through the filter and realized the old guy had set a setting to where it'd turn off after about a day, and it'd have my water just sit for the other 6 days of the week. It was deep in the settings. He had the expertise to find this problem and fix it there on the spot. By the end of the second week my pool was clearer and bluer and more inviting than I'd ever seen it ... EVER! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pool Perfection to anyone who's having current issues with their pool or pool service. They're reliable and actually know what they're doing. Their pricing is also right in line with everyone else, giving them top-notch value. My husband and I are SO THANKFUL to Pool Perfection!
