He could not get the brown algae under control, I thought of getting a few estimates from Yelp. I got 4 quotes. Only Miguel made an effort to come by early friday evening (July 12) to look the pool over and see what needed to be done. His first observation was the lack of chlorine in the pool. He explained that was part of the problem and causing the algae growth. His quote was similar to the previous company. The other 3 companies did not bother to come and visit. One company requested photos while the other two just gave me quotes. 2 out of the 3 companies quoted $30 to $50 higher per month th what Miguel quoted me. And those quotes did not include chemicals while with Miguel, his quote was for everything. It will be 3 weeks this friday and I could not be happier. The pool looks clean and devoid of any algae. If I could leave negative stars I would…read more I had high hopes when I initiated service with this business and it was the biggest mistake. I literally, only lasted 1 month of service with Adrian. This guy is very arrogant, and argumentative. In addition, he calls me and asks me if I have home owners insurance and telling me to file a claim for my pool pump. If I have home owners insurance I should only pay $100 and they will call him to repair the pump. I said thanks and hung up. I went online to pentair and found a licensed contractor through Pentair, and they came to take the pump. They were shocked at the extended of the damage of my pump. After further inspection, it turns out my pump exploded probably from these guys ignorance or maybe intentional to charge my home insurance for this. Attached are the photos and the message from the contractor. I would never recommend this business. Update: The final cost to repair $1,057.75, because In addition to the pump exploding, it cause damage to the plumbing.

If you are a rude customer I'm sure he tries until you cross the line. Then he tells you to kick rocks. I'm 100% certain that he runs this business with integrity. He overall will help you as much as possible and he will keep your pool looking great. Oh and you can call him direct anytime of the day for pool advise/help even FaceTime. His prices are super fair for what you get. It's all relative because he's a REAL pool company and is CPO Certified. Call him and I bet you will think the same. Since Scott has moved on and doesn't run this business anymore, his son Daniel has been the pool…read moreguy. I hate to rate 1 star ratings, but my experience with Daniel has been extremely negative. Daniel doesn't come regularly like Scott did, matter fact when our pool was serviced by Scott he maintained our pool weekly and made sure to take good care of us, now... we'll be lucky if Daniel even services our pool. My husband has tried to reach out to Daniel so may times thru text, but Daniel ignores it. Daniel continues to charge us for monthly maintenance and services, but does not service our pool at all. Our pool has become green and now we have to probably find another pool guy. Daniel is not an honest person and the integrity of this company is no longer something that is not valued. It's unfortunate, especially for us as the customers. I would no longer recommend this company to anyone I know or anyone looking for pool service. If I could go back in time and choose a pool company, it would not be this one unless the pool guy was going to only be Scott, unfortunately Daniel doesn't have the same work ethic like Scott. Hmmm, I'm pretty sure all that is the result of not doing the job you're being paid to do! I appreciate that Scott finally refunded my May payment because they didn't take care of my pool during May. I don't appreciate being lectured or blamed for your issues caused by your lack of concern and your son's failure to do his job. I am glad I have moved on. No more updates will follow. What a total disappointment My Pool Guy turned out to be. We kept them on when we bought our house and have some issues with Daniel not showing up because his truck was broken or he was in the ER. It became a habit and I had to start harping via text to get him to show up to service my pool which is what I paid for. Now, here we are one year later and he tells me he's going to come back the next day to clean our filters because of a lot of dirt and silt in the system. What happens? His girlfriend ends up in the ER. I called Scott about the no show because I'm tired of being treated like I don't matter and I hear NOTHING from Scott! Daniel texts me later and says he'll be here that afternoon. Ok, he shows up and cleans the filter while I'm gone but the next week his "new" truck is broken! NO SHOW AGAIN! I texted Daniel about it and he says he showed up later in the afternoon and serviced our pool. Well, we had five adults in our home throughout that day and no one saw him. My dog barks a lot to announce when someone is in the back yard and guess what? NOTHING! No one came in our backyard that day. I really detest being lied to! I have had enough! I told Scott via text that I am stopping their service because of their lack of service and told him I want my May payment refunded. He tried to act like he wanted my business at this point but it was too little too late. He has completely quit communicating with me and refuses to refund any money. Daniel came for only one service and came back to clean the filter after dropping the ball. A refund was a reasonable request. If you're looking for a pool cleaner, RUN!
