I went to the Amazon website and purchased a 50 MF Round capacitor for $17 I removed the two screws On top of the pump motor revealing the housing for the capacitor I removed the two wires going to the capacitor, discharged it by bridging the terminals with a screwdriver and then installed my $17 Capacitor. turned the power back on and the repair was complete. They knew this. They are in the business for crying out loud.

Hi All, I wrote a review for Daniel Hernandez, who owns Subsurface Leak Solutions, on November 1,…read more2024, for an underground leak repair completed on another site. We chose Subsurface Leak Solutions because Daniel told us the detection and leak repair would be under warranty for two years. Although they were more expensive than other companies, we chose them due to this guarantee. Fast forward, one month later: the underground leak recurred. Daniel forced me to sign a leak detection and repair estimate before reinspecting the property, despite the leak being in the same location they previously repaired. When his repair person, Victor (his nephew), came out, he found the leak was in the same pipe, just two inches away. In the original repair, Victor did not completely replace the entire section as most plumbers would. Although this was an error in the original repair, Daniel now wants to recharge us several thousand dollars more. We opted not to use Daniel for this repair, which should have been covered under warranty. As advised, beware of Subsurface Leak Solutions and Daniel Hernandez. They prey on individuals desperate for repairs. To me, they appear either dishonest or incompetent plumbers; avoid using their services.
