9/6/19 Same issues everyone else states. He does not start or finish when he says he will, he make promises about work and performance that he does not deliver on. I used him more than once and it was a mistake. First time, the project took 2 months longer than his worst time estimate. It was supposed to be 2 weeks, and the whole thing took almost 4 months. My spa does not work properly from all jets, the water feature he put in is a joke, and my pool lights feel like they are going to fall out. The second time he was rebuilding a spillway, and there were tons of delays. Of course none of them were his fault. When it was done, it was already falling apart, and he stated it was a mistake to ever have attempted it. He also damaged my pool tile, while doing it and never apologized. He offered to refund my money, and I accepted. I have now been chasing him for over a year to repay the funds. He still owes me 500, of 1,500. Keeps promising to pay, but not paying, and of course does not respond to phone calls and texts. I have to call him from different numbers just to get him to pick up. 3/18/21 updated. After seeing his response to my review, I thought I should update this. He eventually paid me back for the spillway he ruined, but not until I filed a claim with his insurance company. While the scope of the work he mentions in his comment is technically correct, it was not four jobs as he states. It also does not matter because he never finished a single job on time, and twice asked for additional money. Per another comment below, he talks a lot but he does not follow through, and then blames his problems on everything other than his inability to manage his schedule, supplies, staffing and finances. read more

James said will start Dec 26-no show. Then Dec 27 between 7am and 8am and showed up at 9:15 and worked only 2hrs-said will return at 1:30-never returned that day. Then will come back in morning with new pool light - did not show until 4:30pm. Conclusion, this guy is not reliable. Did my job piecemeal. read more
