The service was ok this time around. I originally ordered the rancher's hash which over easy eggs instead of sunny side since I'm expecting and want to make sure to eat foods that are well cooked instead of under, but it came with sunny side anyway. The avocado looked like it was going bad and still had the skin on it...I've never seen an avocado served like that in a restaurant before...almost bad and with the skin still on it. I also wasn't aware it would have steak slices as it doesn't specify that in the description of the rancher's hash so I assumed it'd be crumbled ground beef...either way, the bowl itself didn't look as appetizing as it sounded in the description. I opted to switch to the grass fed burger I had my first visit here and it was ok, first time was definitely better than this time around and the air fried fries were ok, most of them underneath the initial picture look and tasted overcooked which was another disappointment. I enjoyed with my lavender matcha, Margherita sourdough pizza (YUM!) and the brussel sprouts for our starters. This visit was certainly disappointing on Mother's Day. I really want to recommend and keep coming back for the fact that it's health consciousness menu but don't want to pay for 'just ok' food either...nor recommend a place that's just ok.

All of their sandwiches and salads are made to order, super fresh, and thoughtfully put together, and the coffee is consistently on point every time I come in. One of my favorite things about this place is how great it is for working. There are tons of outlets, plenty of seating, and a calm, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to settle in for a few hours. It's also dog-friendly, which I absolutely love (I come here at least once a week with my dog, and they're always so accommodating and kind). The staff is genuinely friendly, there's a large parking lot (which is a huge plus), and they always have fun seasonal items to look forward to. You can really feel the care and intention behind this place. Highly recommend making this part of your weekly cafe rotation.

The Manager/owner went above and beyond to make us comfortable, was genuinely happy to create our selections, and added to the enjoyment of the visit. The beverage items were: Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso (Espresso swirled with brown sugar, cinnamon, and milk). I really enjoyed this beverage. It was served in a large glass and the presentation was appealing. It showed the flavorful espresso at the bottom 1/4 of the glass and after mixing it all together.....wow! The next choice was the Mocha Latte, with slim milk. The only thing I'll mention about this drink was, that it was the best they've ever had, annnnnnnnd they've had a lot of them. Thank you, Iconic Coffee, for creating a business with a welcoming atmosphere and a relaxing ambience. I'll happily return and will gladly spread the word. :-)

It has so much potential. I mean like to come in regularly and all.. too many inconsistencies. Food is delicious. Out of trying 5 meals, 4 were a hit. Steak and Eggs are delicious! Beet juice is refreshing and made to order. Service was spectacular. Now, what grinds my gear is this "fall menu". Clearly stated, drinks can be made hot or cold. Except, thats not true. I order a hot banana latte -- they couldn't make it hot saying, "it tastes different and bad". Ok. So we go through the many with our waitress of ones I cannot order hot, and end up with the carrot cake latte. Tasted nothing near of carrot cake, but was ok for me. It tasted like a latte, and was warm which checked off my box. Strawberry Matcha was really nice also as a warm beverage, however they kept trying to advise me against ordering. Will be back, just not as frequently as I was hoping.

Breakfast is a compound word, combining the words "break" and "fast." It is often advertised as the…read moremost important meal of the day. It sets the tone for whatever one's day holds. It wasn't until the 17th century that this meal became a more common practice, especially among the wealthy, who would have rich dishes like scrambled eggs alongside coffee and tea in the morning. The Garden State is still known as the diner capital of the world. Located off Essex Street in Hackensack, this establishment is one of the handful of 24-hour diners. With its unique harlequin decor, Chit Chat remains a chic, upscale diner that we frequent often with friends and family. Upon arrival this morning, my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff at the host station, and we were able to get a table quickly. The menu was extensive, and we took our time looking but did not feel rushed. Their menu includes a lot of things one may not find on a regular menu. We decided on their brunch menu and ordered Raspberry & Brie Stuffed French Toast, Santorini Benedict, Bro-Nana Cocoa-Nuts Multigrain Pancakes, and Chorizo Hash & Eggs with a choice of a complimentary mimosa, bloody Mary, or Bellini. The food is always fresh and tastes delicious. The portion is healthy and the prices reasonable. The service is consistently fast and friendly. Our server was Ashley. Today, breakfast isn't just about nutrition; it's a cultural ritual.
