Frontier was one of the most frustrating efforts in my 64 years. I tried to get service, never received service, and paid for the work and now they have billed me for a month's service. I've called eight times and now understand why they have a class action suit pending. Because of my location, I wasn't sure The Cable Company provided service. I called them, they were very nice and said that they thought that it could work for me. They checked it out and I never heard back from them. Doesn't inspire confidence. Finally, SkyTek. They said that they thought that they could provide service. Came out and verified it could happen (within 3 days). They let me know it was doable and asked when I'd like it hooked up. Two days later it was done with no muss and no fuss. The two guys came out, knew what they were doing and got it done. They asked where I wanted it installed and then did it. They double checked things and found an installation error (one was a new employee) and fixed it. Before leaving. Technical Specs just took (Speedtest): Test 1: Ping rate: 38 ms; Download: 33.89 mbps; Upload: 8.97 mbps Test 2: Ping rate: 27 ms; Download: 33.63 mbps; Upload: 10.03 mbps I've had the service for two months and couldn't be more pleased. It's good quality, reasonably fast and only occasionally glitches when streaming. When I've contacted them, I've gotten an excellent response. I can't say enough about them. If you're reasonable, they seem to be as well.

Recently the service has been very unreliable! When we come up to our cabin in Blairsville, I work remotely for our business and with updated technology increasing, Windstream has not been able to handle it. I was so frustrated with Windstream, I searched for an alternate Internet Service in Blairsville, GA and found SkyTek Communications. I called and they sent out Justin to see if we were in range of their tower and reviewed their internet plans with us. We immediately scheduled an install of their Antenna and router.
