We waited from April 2020 until April 2021 them to come measure, and install 4 pieces of glass. I had stopped by their shop in late 2020 and talked with them in Person. It still took 5 months and innumerable phone calls to get them to show up. When they finally showed up to measure 4 little pieces of glass, they criticized my entire house, and when they finally replaced the glass , they didn't even clean it, so now I have their fingerprints in unreachable places! I was at Fannin County Sheriff's office on 07/25/26. At that time I had brought an elderly lady who…read moreis 68 years old to speak to a deputy about her living conditions and other issues. Upon speaking to her he determined she should be reported to APS. I contacted APS to get information about her condition. When I spoke with the case worker she informed me she has been there several times and that the lady is unstable and needs help but because the sheriff s office will not cooperate and speak to the lady's children nothing can be done. I called the sheriff's office spoke with Jessica White who is an administrative assistant. She became very upset with me when I told her the lady's name is Sharon Wilson. She told me she knows the family and she is being taken care of. I explained she has no food, no phone, no transportation, does not bathe. She said her daughter checks on her once a week. I told her the front door of her house will not even shut. She said "well my door doesn't work properly either and if you're so worried about it hire somebody to fix it." She then started getting very agitated with me and kept asking why I called. I said because the lady walks the roads begs for money and is in danger, She told me to just ignore her. Then she very hatefully told me to have a blessed day and hung up on me. I later learned that the 68 year old lady's daughter is Ms Whites sister in-law. I have every reason to believe that is why the lady never gets any help as the APS say they have been contacted for years about her but because of the good ole Buddy system in Fannin county nothing can be done. Police arrived and did nothin; EMT arrived and looked at my son, looked dead a me and said "Is the corner on the way". No one tried to help Bentley. His name is BENTLEY!!! They didn't question other adults present. Allowed my cousin; who was AWAKE at the time, to clean and throw things away. Then allowed her to direct the corner to pack my children's belongings. I was treated horrible. I will never forget the officer who looked at me, at the bottom of the stair, saying so harsh, hatful with no compassion "Bentleys DEAD, but u have two other children be happy". I wanted to throw him down the stairs and still do. I understand they see a LOT but no one made them take on this positio; it was a choice. Compassion goes a long way. Just like the corner in Fanning county who TEXTED me my child's apparent cause of death. Yes, texted it!!! I've been trying for almost a year to get the reports and photo/video evidence so that I can have an attorney Send it to Alabama bureau of investigation. It also took over a WEEK to get my son home bc the Airport Mortuary did NOT want to drive on Memorial Day. My son couldn't be laid to rest until June 5 and he left this world May 25, 2021 at 2:51 am. No one has ever reached out. What was portrayed as a close and helpful community has intern been the most horrific nightmare of my life. Here's hoping that I can get some sort of response from their sheriff before they decide to up and destroy all of the evidence pertaining to my child. Because I know and they know they did not conduct The entire questioning and procedure of that not correctly because we were not from there. We were outsiders and meant nothing to them, they treated my son as though he was nothing and that is no exaggeration.
