Amazing Price amazing service. They went above and beyond to get out in time in advance of a family event Thanks team! read more

Have used Blue Ribbon Tree for over ten years to address simple and complex tree issues at two residences. I have always had excellent service from them and reliable performance. Their arborist is very knowledgeable and practical (which I greatly appreciate). The cost has always struck me as fair - I'm sure there are cheaper services, but I know and trust Blue Ribbon and value the fact that they operate above board. I highly recommend them! read more

I manage the common area for my HOA and have used Blue Ribbon Tree Service numerous times and have been very pleased with their service. We have had them maintain our trees and used them for storm emergency tree pruning and removal. They are very reasonable in costs but more important know what they're doing from an arborist perspective. read more

Recently had Blue Ribbon out to lower some Leyland cypress that had gotten too high for our small backyard. A thorough and professional service from arborist, Ian and his hardworking crew. Competitive pricing for the service which included great cleanup after the job. They were very thoughtful about trying to not damage the surrounding garden. Our HOA uses them as well, but didn't discover this until afterwards. Overall would highly recommend their services! read more

I highly recommend using this company. Their crew did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly after they were done. They didn't leave until I was completely satisfied. I also really appreciate how quickly they were able to complete the project. read more

Before today, I would have recommended this service highly. They have done work on our big trees more than once in the past. We are located in Seattle. I called them 4 business days ago about getting back out to work on our big tree and was told the arborist would call me back. I finally called again today to see if I missed their call. I was told that "due to rising gas prices" I am no longer in their service area. The person on the phone didn't even sound apologetic, just told me to find someone closer to my location. 1. Why did it take 4 days to tell me that? Were they ever going to call me back? 2. I understand you might do that for a new customer, but not taking care of existing customers is a good way to not get referrals. 3. Their website says in BIG LETTERS "OFFERING EASTSIDE SERVICE FROM EVERETT-AUBURN AND WESTSIDE SERVICE FROM EDMONDS-FEDERAL WAY". Sounds like they better get their online listings updated. No idea what they consider their "service area" now. read more

We hired Blue Ribbon to trim a couple London Plane trees and remove a third one. Ian and his crew of six were very professional and did an excellent job in all respects, at a very competitive price. All three trees were very close to the house/deck and the crew was very careful not to damage anything. They also did an excellent job of cleanup when the work was done. I highly recommend Blue Ribbon to anyone that needs tree work done. Ron S read more

This company was referred to me by several property managers however after I called twice and spoke to the lady via phone and also sent an email I'm not entirely sure how to feel. No one ever called back to even do a site visit for quotes. I have a large community and was looking for a company to remove trees and to do some clearance but without a call back or email I don't know if I would refer them to someone as I can't even get them to come out for a bid. read more

If there was a sixth star...they would get it. Great team and reliable communication from beginning to end. We had some very close quarter removal required. Was referred to Ian/ Blue Ribbon from another respected landscape contractor who said Blue Ribbon is who he would hire for any job. These guys showed up, all business, all pro's...but very polite. Complete experts with surgical precision. They were in and out within a few hours, big equipment, all wood/brush halued away and with impeccable clean up at the end. Absolutely would call and/or recommend Blue Ribbon. The best part is that the job was very reasonably priced! read more

EXCEPTIONAL! BLUE RIBBON for sure! HUGE crew showed up on time and were quickly up in the two large fir trees on the hillside over my house. Access was difficult but did not get in the way of their progress and safely taking them down and away in very short time. Clean up left things looking better than when they arrived and they were pleasant as could be. 5 stars all the way! read more

We bought a new home and had a flora paradise insanity. They came out and did the following: Removed 2 large trees Ground down 7 stumps Cut down 2 half trees Pruned our plum trees Removed 3 massive bushes. I have to say, they did a fantastic job. I loved how easy it was to communicate with them, how expeditiously they worked, they had a large crew and it was not an inconvenience that lasted for hours. Also I love the fact that they actually removed all the roots which was a big threat to our house, and they cleaned up everything so after they were done you couldn't even tell they were there. Their employees were very courteous and professional, their estimate was right on, when we asked for additional work they were willing to accommodate and they immediately let us know how much that would cost. And the pricing was excellent compared to what out neighbors paid for a lot less work. Considering the fact that our backyard seems to be a jungle, I'm confident that we will be working with this company throughout our time in this home. Very well done!! I just love an honest business! read more

We had a great experience with Blue Ribbon. Dale was knowledgeable and addressed my concerns with all the trees on our property. The team came and took care of all our trees that needed care and removed three. They ground stumps and cleaned up, the whole endeavor went smoothly from start to finish. Thanks, Blue Ribbon! read more

Blue Ribbon just removed one of our trees and trimmed several others. They did a great job, plus they didn't leave a single twig for us to clean up. Fair pricing, too. I definitely recommend them. read more

Ian and his crew not only offered a competitive bid to remove a dead fir on our property but were able to schedule us quickly. The crew was friendly, safe and their work was precise, leaving my gate, orchard faucet and drive unscathed :). I would not look any further for tree service needs! read more

Ian and his crew did a FANTASTIC job! They showed up right on time and were amazingly efficient. They followed our requests to a T and even did a great clean-up. We are blown away by how good it looks. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Thank you!!! read more

Hired them again to prune some big trees. Andy is great to work with. The crew shows up with plenty of guys and gets the work done in no time. Price was competitive as always. No reason to not use these guys in the future. read more

Had Ian come by for a free estimate, it was great getting an expert onsite to teach us about the trees in our yard. We wanted to trim down a big tree and cut down a maple growing from an old stump. Ian explained the options and we setup an appointment after his estimate. The crew showed up on time with multiple workers as well as van with wood chipper. They finished after about 3 hours and got everything done correctly. read more

Great service! Very professional & very knowledgeable! The crew was able to get the job done in under an hour, and not only did they remove what we wanted cut and pruned they went above & beyond to clean up the surrounding areas. They also took the time to educate us on the different species of trees growing styles. Then made suggestions on best practices regarding pruning. Lastly, they educated us on how close to plant trees to structures. We learned a lot and was very impressed on everything that was accomplished in such a short time. read more

Oh my gosh! How refreshing. How unusual, The people with this company communicate in a timely manner, do what they say they will do AND do it well, respond to questions follow through with commitments, do great work and charge a fair price. The work was too much to complete the first day. They came back the following work day. I didn't have to remind them or beg them to come back to finish. Without hesitation. we can say we were very satisfied with them, their work, and would hire them again. Their clean ups was excellent too! We wish we could say this about every company we hire. They observed COVID requirements too. read more

I was looking on Yelp for someone local and with good reviews. Well, I found them. It was a pretty straight forward job so an on-site quote wasn't necessary. I sent them a quick picture and within a couple of emails, we had a time and price set. It was a great experience all the way around. read more

What a great company - wish I could give them more stars! Ian was excellent in walking through our property and explaining various options and giving suggestions. He is a trained arborist and understood the health of our trees. The whole crew worked quickly, did a thoroughly professional job. The cleanup was amazing. Fantastic experience; will definitely recommend to my friends and family and will use them again. Thank you, Blue Ribbon! read more

Blue Ribbon did an awesome job on removing some trees on our property; competitive price, arrived on time, completed ahead of schedule and cleaned up afterward. Andy, the owner, took the time to explain the pros and cons of the potential work scope during the estimation visit and then came with the crew to kick off the job. Highly recommended read more

Absolutely phenomenal - I can't recommend this company enough! We bought a couple acres and the horse turn-out area had been severely neglected by the previous owner. In addition, we have two absolutely enormous evergreens close to the house one of which the arborist estimated to be about 140 years old. Anywhoo...the two trees by the house were full of widow makers AND they were right over our parking area. One of them barfed up some branches and took out my cousin's car. Yep. Ian was excellent. He walked our entire property, gave interesting tidbits of info we didn't know, and determined that only two trees needed be removed from the horse area. The other ones we were worried about were fine. Ian also said they would remove all the dead gunk and a few dangerous branches from the two big trees by the house. He also cut up a third three that we felled ourselves (but decided this was a job for professionals). We have had tree work done at other locations and felt that Ian's estimate was competitive. We also really liked his style and felt comfortable with the way he appeared to do business. He is knowledgeable but laid-back without any high-pressure tactics. Have you ever called one of those big corporate places or had them knock on your door for a free estimate? OMG those places are awful. They tell you that you are going to be smashed in your sleep in a month if you don't spend $5000 TODAY. You won't get any of that with Ian. They did excellent work...cleaned up very well...did exactly what they were supposed to when they said they would. We couldn't be more pleased!!!!! Total bill $1200 to remove two trees and prune & remove deadwood from two absolutely enormous evergreens. Included haul away of everything except what we wanted for firewood. Thanks Ian! You guys are the best! We will definitely call you again and will gladly refer others as well. read more

This is the second time I have used Blue Ribbon and I feel horrible that I didn't write one of these after my first encounter. The first time was after one of my fir trees fell onto my house...on Christmas Day. Good times! I called them the next day and they arranged to come out within the week. They came out and removed the tree as well as another dead one we had. They suggested that we prune the rest for their health and safety. The price he quoted was THOUSANDS less that Evergreen. They did such a great job that my neighbor hired them on the spot to prune his trees as well. Flash forward 2 years, I have a dying tree in another part of my property as well as some trees that need pruning. Andy came out and gave me a reasonable estimate for pruning, and removing the dying tree. He also said that they could try to save it for less than $100. We went with that option so fingers crossed. In both cases, they were on time, did not go over estimate and cleaned up their mess. The whole crew was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone! read more

We worked with Ian the arborist and he made our life just so much more nice since we had neighbors from heck on one side that wanted our trees gone and neighbors from niceville that just were concerned about the roots from our trees. The front trees are going to be better without dead branches and borer bugs with the crew coming. He gave us hints on other items we could do ourselves. He knows his stuff about the revision code for tree trimming in the State of Washington and knows how to do trimming with a concern for privacy!!! read more

Mr. Anderson of Blue Ribbon Tree & Landscape Specialists came out and gave me a bid on trimming a large tree. His crew came out without him and did the work. I paid in full in early January 2018. I discovered there was a large sawed off vertical branch with no leaves still there. I called Mr. Anderson to complete the job. He came out and said his crew would not have cut it that way so they would not be returning to saw it off where it should have been. No one else has trimmed that tree and I cannot reach it as it is too high and large. read more

Very satisfied with they guys from Blue Ribbon! They were very professional. Cut down two 40' trees in my backyard and cleaned everything up. My yard didn't even look like they were ever there, minus two big trees. Well done! read more

I contacted Blue Ribbon Tree & Landscape & within a day they came out and established a bid for the job. I spoke to the owner of the company, Andy, and he was more than accommodating to our scheduling challenges. We agreed on the scope of the work. They scheduled our work the following week. A crew of six workers, and I mean "workers" showed up and within one hour and 20 minutes they had fell the tree, cut it into rounds, chipped all the branches, and cleaned the area where the tree came down. I should expand on that, they thoroughly cleaned the yard anywhere they walked, drug branches or carried limbs. The job area was immaculate!! The tree was located between two fences and the work they performed was outstanding. My wife was ecstatic. She commented "these guys know what they are doing." I told her, "yes they do!!!!' I would refer Blue Ribbon Tree & Landscape to anyone that is in need of this type of service. Please feel free to contact me with their permission. They deserve a 100 percent rating for their excellent work! We had several bids but Blue Ribbon was who we decided to go with and we are so THRILLED we did. Delivering first class service. read more

We made an appointment to have someone come out and give us an estimate however the arborist arrived a half hour after they said they would show up. This review is for Tree Removal, and I am taking the time to remember YELP for a positive review! I found BLUE RIBBON in the Checkbook publication where they had received great ratings from customers in our area, but I hadn't heard of them. I called and (unlike others) I received a call back within the hour, and was visited for an estimate the next day. The estimate was very competitive and straightforward. Andy also spent a few minutes educating me a bit on my trees and their health, which was much appreciated. I decided to hire them and they plugged me in a few days later (I told them I really hoped to get it done before November). The crew was amazing--extremely experienced, well-trained, safe, and worked very well together. There was never a moment that someone was standing around, and in a half day they took out four mature (dead) cedars and one hazardous hemlock. All of these trees were massive. The climbers were phenomenal and watching the whole process was better than going to the movies. Meanwhile, Andy found ways to make the bid more reasonable and we felt like we got absolutely excellent service for a great price. I had at least six people bid on that removal and the bids were ALL over the place. We are totally thrilled with Blue Ribbon after all that and will be calling them for our next phase removal in the spring. They are excellent!!!!! read more
