To finish the job, Gary and Son's was recommended to me by a friend. Of the four bids I got, Gary was the only one that walked the project and gave me some great ideas. As Dara proves, he was in line with the others. Within a month we were adding water to the pool, which had been sitting for nearly a year. The job looks fantastic and his ideas paid off. He's very proud of the company and I'm glad we went with him. The only cons, which are not enough to remove a star from my rating, were these. Once the pool had water and was working, he was done. Other companies give the first 30 days of support with it. I was caught off guard and had to quickly find someone. The only other con was that our communication could have been better. No details needed, he's a nice guy and a trustworthy guy too. He shared the store that he buys tile from, so I could go shop and save some money at the same time. He came to check the work often. When he looked at the old builders work, he went so far as to remove the tile they put in, since it was a bad job. And, the auto fill that was installed too low, he was able to fix it. I definitely think having Gary and Son's was the right call and I can easily recommend them.

I have to give kudos as the old gas connector was melded to the pipe from the heat of previous use. Took ALOT of work to cut off. As the job included gas there is always that trepidation about leaks, etc. I felt 100% confident that Tristan knew gas log sets and their installation, and he took the time to explain things to me. We had a time estimate after FM had confirmed delivery. So I had hired a contractor to build the island. All of a sudden he wanted the unit in three days to make his final measurements! The builder was grumpy. I called the shop, it was close but another day or so. Well Leland had Erik drive for 4 hours return to get it so that my contractor would not walk! All got installed. The hood was a bit out of line. FM wanted us to pull all out and ship back? I knew it was minor so called the shop - Erik came over and adjusted it in 15 min. A year later it is perfect. Take my word, these people are as good and honest as it gets!

He showed up and was friendly, got right to work, shocked it, and did a "clarify" right away. Later backwashed and rinsed the sand filter. He came back later that day, cleared it out & vacuumed. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and all for a very competitive price. I'm really glad I found Breakpoint because I've had a painful time corresponding with the other 2 'big groups' in the area. Breakpoint did it faster, better, and cheaper than the competition. We wanted the old concrete deck removed, tile replaced, new pool coping, a Baja Shelf added, and a new path along the side and front of the house. On top of that, we picked the slower, but much hotter, months of July & August for the project. All of the pool work would have to be done in conjunction with a new exterior paint job for the house and the installation of low-water usage landscaping. Our landscape project was designed and overseen by the very capable Roosevelt Alvidrez of Elements Landscape. Manuel promised he that he could work seamlessly with Roosevelt and any the other contractors on site. This proved to be the case. Since I was out of town over the summer, my wife had to w with Manuel for feedback and to offer suggestions while the work progressed. The team was always timely. We never felt like they abandoned us for days at a time to work on another job. We also had added few "change orders." Manuel rolled with everything. We warned out next door neighbors about the project and they also had no complaints. Thank goodness! Singing a contract with Manuel was easy and payments were handled accurately and with no drama.
