To finish the job, Gary and Son's was recommended to me by a friend. Of the four bids I got, Gary was the only one that walked the project and gave me some great ideas. As Dara proves, he was in line with the others. Within a month we were adding water to the pool, which had been sitting for nearly a year. The job looks fantastic and his ideas paid off. He's very proud of the company and I'm glad we went with him. The only cons, which are not enough to remove a star from my rating, were these. Once the pool had water and was working, he was done. Other companies give the first 30 days of support with it. I was caught off guard and had to quickly find someone. The only other con was that our communication could have been better. No details needed, he's a nice guy and a trustworthy guy too. He shared the store that he buys tile from, so I could go shop and save some money at the same time. He came to check the work often. When he looked at the old builders work, he went so far as to remove the tile they put in, since it was a bad job. And, the auto fill that was installed too low, he was able to fix it. I definitely think having Gary and Son's was the right call and I can easily recommend them.

He really wants me to love what I'm getting and I definitely do. His installer Scott and team was super communicative and took about 5 days to install my 24ft above ground pool. It would have been a bit faster but I opted in for trenching for electrical and plumbing, plus my backyard has a large slope so leveling was down carefully. Scott's team cleaned up daily to ensure there was no indication he was there. He went down to the detail of where the pool was going to sit, gave me some advice and options, and even sent me progress pictures so I didn't feel left out while I was at work. Highly recommend and I would absolutely come back to Rick and Scott for another project.

Leland, who was very courteous and professional, explained pricing and I set an appointment. Tristan came out to install the logs and gas line. I have to give kudos as the old gas connector was melded to the pipe from the heat of previous use. Took ALOT of work to cut off. As the job included gas there is always that trepidation about leaks, etc. I felt 100% confident that Tristan knew gas log sets and their installation, and he took the time to explain things to me. Most importantly, I had confidence that the set-up would be safe.

The pool had gotten a little bad and he told me he'd need to shock it, come back in a few hours to check on progress, and then finish the cleaning. He showed up and was friendly, got right to work, shocked it, and did a "clarify" right away. Later backwashed and rinsed the sand filter. He came back later that day, cleared it out & vacuumed. He was very communicative throughout the entire process and all for a very competitive price. I'm really glad I found Breakpoint because I've had a painful time corresponding with the other 2 'big groups' in the area. Breakpoint did it faster, better, and cheaper than the competition. This will be my guy going forward. Thanks Seth!

We've been using Paradise Pools for over two years, and Ethan has been absolutely outstanding. He…read morehas consistently maintained our pool twice a week, and we couldn't be happier with the level of service he provides. Living in Palm Springs, pool maintenance is a year-round commitment, and Ethan makes it effortless. He's dependable, knowledgeable, and takes great pride in his work. Our pool is always crystal clear, clean, and ready to enjoy. Honestly, I can't imagine what condition our pool would be in without Ethan. It would quickly become our responsibility to maintain, and with the Palm Springs climate, that's not something we have the time or patience to manage ourselves. If you're looking for a reliable pool service, I highly recommend Paradise Pools. Ethan has given us complete peace of mind, and we're grateful for the exceptional care he provides week after week.

I switched and after a year with this new company I can say this is not normal. They overcharged for everything. They destroyed plants breaking branches, lawn - pouring pool water on it (still can't grow back) and when the pump broke they said they'd maintain the water while we waited for repair. They not only didn't maintain it but I had to drain it 3 times in 2 months because they could even get the water balanced from scratch. They were also dishonest on occasion about repair and showing up. Nice people but not acceptable service. I caution anyone from working with these guys. It's expensive and the damage is even more expensive.

Manuel Ramirez Lopez, of Desert Sunrise Pools, was referred to us by our pool guy…read more We knew that our pool refurbishing would be a big job. We wanted the old concrete deck removed, tile replaced, new pool coping, a Baja Shelf added, and a new path along the side and front of the house. On top of that, we picked the slower, but much hotter, months of July & August for the project. All of the pool work would have to be done in conjunction with a new exterior paint job for the house and the installation of low-water usage landscaping. Our landscape project was designed and overseen by the very capable Roosevelt Alvidrez of Elements Landscape. Manuel promised he that he could work seamlessly with Roosevelt and any the other contractors on site. This proved to be the case. Since I was out of town over the summer, my wife had to w with Manuel for feedback and to offer suggestions while the work progressed. The team was always timely. We never felt like they abandoned us for days at a time to work on another job. We also had added few "change orders." Manuel rolled with everything. We warned out next door neighbors about the project and they also had no complaints. Thank goodness! Singing a contract with Manuel was easy and payments were handled accurately and with no drama. Manuel deserves his 5+ stars for delivering us such a wonderful backyard pool oasis. There is no reason why he cannot do the same for you!
