Im usually in the area for the gym around the corner and came across Blue Nail Spa. As it was a much needed a day to pamper myself dude to a hectic work week, I'm glad I found Blue Nail Spa. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy. There were 3 workers and all were assisting someone, but I didn't have to wait long. As I walked in, Lisa greeted me with a huge smile and was very welcoming. The place itself is very neat and cleaning looking. Equipment looked new and clean (which is a huge plus). That day I got a gel manicure and pedicure; as a person who's very picky and particular with their nails,Lisa was very careful and gentle. Lisa made sure I was happy and satisfy with each nail before moving onto next one (which I thought was so cute and sweet of her to do). Not only did my gel manicure and pedicure turned out great, but they lasted a long time. I've been to some other nail places and my gel manicure would only last 2-3 weeks, but the way Lisa did my manicure, they lasted for almost a month. She kept swiping and saying "your card no work" and "do you have another card" I told her to run as a credit; she did not want want to key in the numbers. I always have a good experience when I go to Blue Nail Spa. I've been going here since they opened a few years back. Lisa, the owner, is always so kind and welcoming to her customers. I always ask her to do my nails because I'm always satisfied with her work. The most important thing for me is the shape and file of the nails and Lisa is always attentive to that. And she always asks to make sure if you are satisfied with everything (shape, length, color, etc.) before moving on. My pointer and middle fingers broke and she attached tips on both and they look just like my natural nails! You can't even tell they're not real. And she is careful with attaching the tips because she doesn't want to damage the natural nail so she puts powder over it. The dedication Lisa has to her customers is above and beyond most salons. Really happy this salon is open again after the COVID shutdown. They provide great work and customer service and have taken a lot of safety precaution with plexiglass barriers, protective equipment and sanitizing stations and seats. Got a gel manicure here. The place is pretty clean and nice. The manicure was ok, but not great. The lady doing my nails didn't cut off the cuticles and painted the nails so that there is a gap between where the cuticle ends and paint begins, so freshly done nails looked like they were done several days ago. The manicure lasted over two weeks though, and would have probably lasted longer. Overall an ok place, I would recommend it. read more

While I was getting my pedicure, the woman working on another person's hair was blowdrying in my face. I have debris in my eye from it still. I'm pretty livid about it but also because the "20% off happy hour discount" didn't apply to combo pedi/mani that costs $40. They tried to sell me their vanilla or rose pedi/mani, but that would've been $80! Even with a discount...why on earth would I get this at a random nail salon in an awful strip mall next to a Subway? It's not the Four Seasons spa. I was so upset that I just told them to do the regular pedicure (discounted from $28 to $23 because of the 'happy hour') but I wasn't the only customer confused with their pricing. I used to get my nails done on a regular basis and stopped because it's just a waste of money and time. And now I've got nasty stuff in my eye because of this salon. They really need to be more conscientious in this service business. It was far from relaxing. I'm glad I only spent $23 plus $5 tip (the lady who did my pedi did an okay job...but I can get a decent pedi/mani for $28 in San Francisco at any given day). read more

They just opened a few weeks ago and have a lot more things coming into the shop soon (owner told me) but from what I see, it's a beautiful and relaxing spa and everything for a reasonable price.
