We had an outstanding experience with A2Z Builders and our project manager, Noam Bar-On…read more They transformed the unfinished portion of our basement -- which previously had bare concrete floors, an awkward HVAC unit hanging in the middle of the ceiling (that I constantly bumped my head on), and a poorly defined utility area -- into a thoughtfully designed, highly functional space. What was once an uncomfortable, underutilized area is now a beautiful basement with a dedicated office, a workout space, and a much better-sized, well-organized utility room. In addition, they replaced all of our carpet with hardwood floors throughout the main level, and the results are amazing. The craftsmanship and finish quality exceeded our expectations -- the house feels completely elevated and refreshed. Noam was exceptional throughout the entire process. He worked closely with me on the overall design, offered smart and practical solutions, and truly understood what we were trying to accomplish. He came by daily to make sure every detail was executed correctly and was always attentive, responsive, and proactive. His hands-on approach gave us a lot of confidence that the project would turn out right -- and it absolutely did. I can't say enough good things about Noam and the A2Z team. If you're looking for a contractor who is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about the final result with a great value, I highly recommend them.

Their communication was great, every worker that came to our house was respectful and did great work. We removed our earlier reviews in hopes that we could get Robert Bacon from Kitchenworx to do what…read morehe agreed to do. That has not happened and the project should have been completed by mid-September today is Jan 26, 2017. Despite repeated promises by Mr. Bacon of completion and that he will complete the job at no charge (sent to us in writing on 11/26/2016) We are happy to share our documentation from contracts to emails if requested. The bottom line is this company and its principal Robert Bacon, cannot be trusted to do the work in a professional workmanlike manner. I am surprised that Reagan gave them a 2 * Everything that is stated in these scenarios as described in these reviews happened to us too and more! He was unorganized, did not project manage in any way shape or form our remodel. He did not respond to emails when he said he was going to, was and is argumentative and is never wrong. It is always the customer's fault. He did actual damage to the property that he has not repaired. His workers did not do the bathroom as designed, which has now cost us over $10K to repair. We have a contract for the work, we have paid him. He violated Colorado Law by not pulling a permit. Something I did now to get this project completed but was to be done by his company per our contract. Reagan S is also correct in that he puts vagaries in the contract in estimate form. E.g. replace the microwave is $149 ( the original one was in the same place ) and he wants to now charge $500 to connect it to the vent ( that is already there) through the new cabinet - this was in the original design of the Kitchen and has not changed. Again - AWFUL, AWFUL AWFUL - We have filed, per our agreement, an arbitration suit against this company. Damages in this arbitration and out of pocket costs now total over $65K this on a contract that was to cost us no more than $25K of which $20K has been spent. They have caused us loss of rents, a ton of time away from my job, and overall damage to the property like joists needing repair is unbelievable. Avoid Robert Bacon and Kitchenworx at all costs! I, like the others who have reviewed Kitchenworx, post to help alleviate anyone else's potential issues. Please feel free to contact me for any details.

If "problems" came up, they would work with me to find an immediate solution. The friendliness of the staff and workers is unmatched. After they were done, they did a final inspection and actually suggested some crew come back and touch up (caulking and finishing) some spots that were not up to their standard. I'm thankful, and now I have a beautiful new kitchen that is beyond my expectations. Thanks, Kitchenworx!

I understand he is also skilled in auto-repair and even plumbing. But Ted's real asset is his can-do attitude. He replaced the old, damaged window-sills and jambs from our home in Bailey with beautiful new ones. It was not an easy job, but Ted did it in two days. In construction there's nearly always hiccups, and the best test of a tradesman is how he addresses them. Ted keeps a cool head and always keeps the big-picture in mind. He's not just a skilled craftsman, but also an effective problem-solver. Just what you want in a home-improvement contractor. The only downside is that the word is out about Ted's quality of work, and he stays quite busy all year, which can make scheduling an issue. I'd suggest contacting him as your earliest opportunity so that he can fit your project into his schedule.

But when you call Ted of All Trades, you get a speedy estimate and if you approve the estimate, you get a date and time when Ted will show up. And he does! (On the rare occasions when that has not been possible, you get either a phone call from Ted or an e-mail from Megan explaining why and giving you a new date and/or time. Yes! You actually get notified even if he's just running late!!) I have had several home repair projects done by Ted, from painting to replacing basement windows and even replacing an entire cement and brick entry step and am thoroughly satisfied with them all. (He even took my wrought iron railings back to his shop and sandblasted them and gave them a good coat of enamel paint so they look like new!) His prices are always reasonable and he's never finished with a project until it meets his exacting standards.
