Ricardo seems to be the one in charge, but we were forced to deal with Leo and Joel and a few other random people. Leo straight up stopped responding to anyone after missing appointments and projects. My mom was taken advantage of by this company and their lack of professionalism. She expected a professional remodel by this company and the result was absolutely not professional looking or a job well done. very sloppy and lazy work. Basic common courtesy and manners are non existent. The work done was subpar even after they had workers come and "fix" the problems. stains left on our brand new carpet, gashes and scratches in walls from lack of care. Workers would lean and sit on our cars, leave their trash throughout our yard, they would use our toilet and then not flush. our mailbox is now lopsided because of whatever they used to run into backed into it. we have slops of paint on the brick of our house as well as the concrete. Yesterday they sent Vivianas Cleaning LLC to clean, and they did the worst possible job I can fathom. this person shoved our belongings into random places, lazily wiped off surfaces and then jammed a bunch of non dishwasher items into our already clean dishwasher and ran it AGAIN. The people this company contracts with are lazy, unreliable, unprofessional and overall I never want to deal with any of these people again. They will respond with excuses, so just find a different company and save yourself the headache. If you're looking for a professional company that cares and is proud of their work, this is NOT it.

He came prepared with lots of information and documentation at our initial meeting. He was very quick to respond and he had an idea for the layout that no one else had thought of. Once things got rolling our project manager was Chuck and I can't speak highly enough of him. He and his team were very professional and everything was completed to our expectations and in some cases beyond. Chuck did a great job of always checking to make sure things were done the right way and if he thought it wasn't good enough he made sure it got done to his standards. He is without a doubt the best contractor I've ever worked with. As far as budget and timeline goes the only things that went over budget were things that we decided to change or upgrade. The timeline also went as expected. Before they even started they gave us an estimate but also told to expect some delays. We expected it to be done by the end of the summer and it was. I would most definitely recommend Empirical Construction for any project and if we need any work done in the future I'll be giving them a call.

Understanding the circumstance, but also willing to wait for the right team, I responded and asked the business to let me know if that changed in the future, as we have several projects in our home and are hoping to bring the same team aboard for all of them. I then received the attached response offering a completely different explanation than before. Rather than acting with integrity, the business elected to tell a lie, as the project was likely not lucrative enough for them. I made no reference to my budget, but the business assumed I would not be interested in paying their prices. I would like to offer a two-star rating, though, as the communication was quite prompt.

That has not happened and the project should have been completed by mid-September today is Jan 26, 2017. Despite repeated promises by Mr. Bacon of completion and that he will complete the job at no charge (sent to us in writing on 11/26/2016) We are happy to share our documentation from contracts to emails if requested. The bottom line is this company and its principal Robert Bacon, cannot be trusted to do the work in a professional workmanlike manner. I am surprised that Reagan gave them a 2 * Everything that is stated in these scenarios as described in these reviews happened to us too and more! He was unorganized, did not project manage in any way shape or form our remodel. He did not respond to emails when he said he was going to, was and is argumentative and is never wrong. It is always the customer's fault. He did actual damage to the property that he has not repaired. His workers did not do the bathroom as designed, which has now cost us over $10K to repair. We have a contract for the work, we have paid him. He violated Colorado Law by not pulling a permit. Something I did now to get this project completed but was to be done by his company per our contract. Reagan S is also correct in that he puts vagaries in the contract in estimate form. E.g. replace the microwave is $149 ( the original one was in the same place ) and he wants to now charge $500 to connect it to the vent ( that is already there) through the new cabinet - this was in the original design of the Kitchen and has not changed. Again - AWFUL, AWFUL AWFUL - We have filed, per our agreement, an arbitration suit against this company. Damages in this arbitration and out of pocket costs now total over $65K this on a contract that was to cost us no more than $25K of which $20K has been spent. They have caused us loss of rents, a ton of time away from my job, and overall damage to the property like joists needing repair is unbelievable. Avoid Robert Bacon and Kitchenworx at all costs! You actually get notified even if he's just running late!!) I have had several home repair projects done by Ted, from painting to replacing basement windows and even replacing an entire cement and brick entry step and am thoroughly satisfied with them all. (He even took my wrought iron railings back to his shop and sandblasted them and gave them a good coat of enamel paint so they look like new!) His prices are always reasonable and he's never finished with a project until it meets his exacting standards.
