Unlike many others I've been to which may or may not leave you feeling sticky... :P ;) Clean and a modern aesthetic. Very calm vibe... music is always great and on a rotation! Country, to Hawaiian reggae, to classic rock and everything in between. Now to the good stuff: The tanning beds are all luxury and KBL. Red light is incredible and definitely works. The staff: the FRIENDLIEST staff . So very very helpful and always willing to go above and beyond! All the girls are total dolls and don't just zone out on their phones but rather engage with customers and make you feel very welcomed. Willing to answer any question too!!! For reference - This is unlike many tanning salons, where the girls are usually distracted, seem bothered when you ask them questions about services, and are generally just kind of rude. NOT HERE! Actually warm and friendly women. Products: honestly... They stock some of the best items for Tanning/red light therapy in the industry and most are top sellers and are all backed up by science and research. Varying degrees of prices for products for everyone's budget. But sometimes... You get what you pay for! Meaning the more expensive tanning lotions are priced such as they are loaded with skincare ingredients, skin, tightening ingredients, etc., etc. (That's just my personal experience and take on things.) Leslie was professional, efficient and didn't make being mostly naked at all uncomfortable. Got an even tan and a nice natural looking color that has lasted over a week. I had spots and blotches at the other places and Leslie has always done a perfect job. She has two locations one on Bainbridge and one in Silverdale and that makes it super easy to get in with her when needed. She carries great after products for touch ups and elongation of the tan. (I actually use the aerosol spray to give my checks color throughout the year). She makes you feel comfortable and it's quick! She also has a special in December for you to buy a package for a major discount and that makes me even happier since it doesn't expire. I also decided I was also going to get my nails done again so on a friend's recommendation I called and made us both appointments at Hot Nails in Silverdale. Her nail always look so perfect so I trusted her advice. Which by the way was on point! We went in for our appointments and were greeted immediately, it was very busy, we were early so we took a seat. Only a few minutes later it was my turn and quickly after my daughter was called to sit. I asked for black, matte, and coffin shape. They did exactly what I asked for and my nails look amazing!! My daughter is also extremely happy with her nails as well. He was able to fix the mistakes the others made and her polish is beautiful. It was a nice little mother-daughter time spent which was nice. They were very careful and precise which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!

DO NOT GO TO #ADORANAILS in SILVERDALE…read more I am in tears right now and feel so stupid. I will be fighting these charges with my bank. My nails look HIDEOUS. I was lied to by the #Adoranails. I got my nails done last week in a metallic color. It was beautiful, but the edges did not seal correctly. I asked if it could be repaired. They said it could. I was surprised they got me in so fast. Then they seemed to be deliberately misunderstanding me. I said "Repair them! Just fix the tips." They did a complete redo, an unnecessary fill (#scam) and painted my nails black. I said it was the wrong color. The tech cut the sponge and said she fixed it. Well, not only is this color wrong, it is very ugly in most lights. It does not match the color on my toes. Then, she pulls out a ticket and charges FIFTY DOLLARS. I was shocked, but thought, well, at least it's the same color. Then, I saw it in sunlight. Very ugly! I will not pay this. I will not be back to Adora--Ever. If a customer does not ask for a service DO NOT JUST START DOING IT. Listen to what your customer wants. Do not lie or scam.

When the associate rang me up I realized the math was not adding up. I asked to see a break down of what I was paying for and she said "well I waived your new client fee($20) and that there isn't a 5.00 off button." A little taken back with that response which also felt like she was trying to be sneaky I told her if it's a $25 coupon you can't just void a $20 fee and think I won't notice.. she figured it out and gave me the correct discount and continued to say "well, that's what I was just told to do." Ok.... Seems shady.... Then, As I'm sitting there waiting she starts talking About me to 2 customers!!! such an uncomfortable situation! WTF all I asked for was my correct discount! I felt so uncomfortable and upset that the idea of going and laying in a "wellness pod" seemed like torture at this point. I confronted her about it and said, "I'm sorry but I wasn't trying to be mean, but only giving $20 off a $25 coupon is bad business practice".... She rolled her eyes at me and said "ok." Again wtf ... I told her forget it and asked her to just refund my package.. she couldn't figure it out and called the manager who also could not figure it out and would not talk to me since she's "off until Monday" I'm soo furious! This situation was beyond ridiculous and uncomfortable. I had only had one spray tan in the past, and the girl did an awesome job, but I didn't put enough effort into the before and after care to make sure it lasted as long as possible. This time, when I booked with Amy, I made sure to listen closely and take notes on what I needed to do before and after my spray tan. Amy and I had a quick phone call when I reached out about the appointment. I scheduled at least a month in advance, so I can't really speak to how easily you could get in last minute. I had no problems scheduling. Our phone call was super helpful. We went through all of the instructions and she gave me a lot of before care advice that I followed until my appointment. When it was finally appointment day, I went in for my spray tan! Amy was super welcoming and kind. She told me my skin looked good for the spray tan, which was music to my ears, because I had been doing all of her before care suggestions! We talked a bit about which spray tan option I would go for and what shade I wanted to achieve. We ended up deciding on a rapid tan option with a medium shade. I think I left it on for about 4-5 hours... Throughout my appointment, Amy was very respectful and friendly. She gave me product recommendations for body wash and sunscreen, which was super helpful! When the appointment ended, we realized it was raining outside. I didn't have an umbrella, so Amy offered to walk me out to my car with one of her umbrellas! It was one of the nicest things ever. She escorted me to my car and we said our goodbyes. She made it clear that I could reach out to her with any questions or concerns, which was super nice! After 4-5 hours, I took a shower and rinsed off (no soap). When I woke up the next day, I had an absolutely beautiful bronze glow! I truly was amazed by how gorgeous the color was. It got me extra excited for my trip. :) The spray tan lasted throughout the entirety of my trip, although it did fade a bit (which was inevitable because I was in the ocean quite a bit). When we packed up to come home, I still had a little bit of color on my body. I was surprised that it lasted that long! I know that it was due to the advice that Amy gave me for after care. As a tip: she only accepts cash so make sure you have that on hand. Don't worry though, she'll go through all of this with you before your appointment! Overall, I had a 10/10 experience with Amy and Simply Bronzed! I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you Amy!!!! :)

I got the rapid tan (highly recommend) because it's super convenient to be able to wash off sooner. The staying power of this tan is amaaaaazing. I went to Maui for a week-- snorkeled, swam in the pool and hot tub, got a friggin massage, and it didn't budge! It also isn't fading weird at all. Thank you! I'll definitely be back.
