Life is dope!!! I was headed home Hungry But thinking don't go home go to the storage place (next stop after Christopher st) and pick out something Get on the train lost in Hungry thoughts & I'm standing right in front of a friend (Sarah) from the Liar She's headed to work... she works at a bar on Houston That's where I was going They have food That's the universe telling me to get food first And of course drinks Get there.... Had a shot and sipping on yuengling And the food here is good she says They make everything in house except for the boneless wings and waffle fries no way I'm thinking To all my friends... We gotta come here!!!! It's clean, nice music, (Stevie wonder went off and Al green came on ) 3:30pm on a Tuesday Full bar... it's above ground Nice tvs.... So many tvs Everywhere Ordered wings & Cobb salad: the wings had a nice crispness & the right level heat of spice to the sauce (perfect for the light weights). & the freshness. The meat wasn't dry at all. It actually tasted like freshly cooked chicken nice & juicy Nothing worse than old dry a** meat with new sauce & salt trying to insult the tastebuds The salad... oooh gosh *trini accent* the fried egg I wasn't ready for. Soo good!! They won my vote because everything in the bowl was balanced. The lettuce was shredded (I hate tryna eat a salad & get slapped in the face with a napkin size piece of lettuce. Not soaked in dressing but just enough & crispy bites of bacon & now to dessert : I dunno what they offer but I often like a cocktail instead of cake. I requested an espresso martini made with casamigos reposado... these ladies (Simone & Sarah) searched for the correct ingredients. Man on man!! This sh*t hit! So good baby!! Don't go breaking my heart! The song playing as I post this Elton John & Kiki Dee And on that note, this note: I WILL BE BACK! Wait did I spell that right? Dessert or desert hahaha don't mind me... I've been drinkin *Beyonce voice *

I've been 3 times. Once on a date, once with friends, and once with coworkers. I've had just drinks, dinner, and lunch, respectively. Each time was great. The food is actually good quality. The fries are crisp and slightly salty but in a good way. The cheese quesadilla was actually filling and there was enough sauce. The grilled cheese was great as well. My coworkers liked the veggie burger, burgers, and chicken pizza. Warning it's usually very crowded and loud and tables are hard to come by at night.

Cait's giant football of beef and cheese. The crunch was impressive given the sheer size of this beast.

Great place to watch sports in NYC. The beer is cold and there are a lot of options, the food is surprisingly delicious for a sports bar, and the waitstaff are friendly and talkative. First place I hit when we rolled into Manhattan so I could catch Sunday Night Football. I devoured their smash burger and highly recommend it and my girlfriend had their Gordita Crunch and it was as big as a football and delicious. Some dude with a mess of curly hair rolled a doobie and got a bunch of people high on the patio while the 49ers crushed the Cowboys. The vibe was awesome and I'll definitely come back on my next trip to New York.

Good place for a quick drink and to watch sports. Bartender was an idiot, but aside from that the atmosphere and the actual drinks were good.

Decent place to watch sports in the area but for the love of god update your food menu, it hasn't changed in SO LONG!!!! Who wants mozzarella SQUARES with watered-down marinara sauce? They can't play sound on the TVs outdoors FYI

    Soggy chicken tenders

They used to have great buttermilk chicken tenders but got them today and they were ridiculously undercooked and soggy. 0 flavor.

    Shepherds Pie

We came on a Sunday night and it was very spacious. Motivation to come here was to watch basketball playoffs and there were plenty of TVs situated around so that was a relief. Shepherd's Pie - I haven't really had many of these pies, but I thought it was pretty decent. The mashed potato was consistently smooth/soft, the beef was tender, and everything stayed hot. Plate of buffalo wings was also good. Came with at least 8-10 pieces of wings. Wings were not over sauced and tender. A half and half mix of wings and drumsticks. Plate of fries was decent. Some potato skin was left on. Not too salted. Service here was satisfactory. They didn't do a very good job of providing water unless asked to do so. Waiter was pretty chill, never pressured us to keep on ordering. Food was much better than I expected, so that was a huge plus.

This is my second time at the Blue Haven, and they did not disappoint! The General Tsao's Cauliflower was delicious, nachos were on point, this time we went with the Buffalo chicken nachos! We will definitely be back again!

Buffalo Chicken Flatbread, Fries, and Bottomless Mimosas

Went here for the IU vs. Iowa Big 10 semifinal game. Tough loss for the Hoosiers. The bottomless mimosa deal is good and the mimosas themselves are pretty great. Food was just ok though

Surrounding TVs keep every play, fight and miracle replayed in glorious surround-sass while wooden tables beg for pitchers, pretzels and conspiracy theories about the ref. Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. One particular bartender, Delaney not only brings an awesome level of energy to the bar, she saunters in like a halftime show -- a grin that's equal parts mischief and welcome. She's all quick elbows and quicker comebacks, the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and that one ridiculous story you told months ago. Her laugh is loud, her wink is devious, and she has a way of making first-timers feel like regulars by the second round. Behind the wooden bar she's choreography: expert pours, theatrical muddles, and a flourish that makes every order feel curated. Delaney's drinks are personality-packed, with her behind the bar, the place doesn't just serve drinks -- it gets its personality back. It's a place off 8th ave where fitness meets fun, and every corner feels like home--complete with friendly staff who know your name (or at least your size) and are always ready to offer a witty comeback or a perfect recommendation. Cheers!

I showed up an hour and a half early before the event I went to "started", got a seat at the short (Ada compliant) bar and settled in to grab a drink or two before everything started. It took 45 mins for someone (2 people were working) to actually make it down to our side on the bar, everyone I was sitting with, including the tables, wanted to order. The girls next to me said they got there 15 mins before me. If I wasn't here specifically to watch a show with other people in my community I would have left. An hour for a drink!?!?! I took it on the chin and just ordered 2 drinks, which was great because an hour and a half (we ordered the second time after the show started) later they finally came back.
