I've been really frustrated with the service from our town's garbage disposal company. I have video of the crew handling my leaf bags during pickup, but when I got home, the bags were still completely full. When I called to ask about it, the person on the phone didn't seem familiar with the leaf pickup schedule or the process, and couldn't give me clear information. They said someone would come back out, but no one ever did. This hasn't been the only issue. In the past, trash debris has been left on the street after pickup, and recycling hasn't always been emptied correctly. It's disappointing to see these problems happening repeatedly. Unfortunately, because the town has a contract with this company, there isn't another option to switch to. I really hope they improve their communication and reliability, because residents deserve better service. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service and in having them for only a month, they missed pickup at least once. Service was also terrible. I try to understand communication errors and how tough it is to be on the side of a business responding to consumers, as I own my own business. But when you call and ask to be called back you should be. I followed up and was not treated professionally. I just left a message with a foreman, we will see if I get a phone call back. Missing a garbage pick is a huge inconvenience. Mistakes happen, customer service is easy, if you believe your customers need to be treated with respect. Do better Blue Diamond. read more

At times my garbage is not picked up and when you call you get the run around my neighbor takes it down the night before so they can't say is wasn't there ! I called at 11:00 in the am and was told somebody would be by to pick it up and knowing they close at 5:00 I called at 4:30 to be told it will be picked up the next day ! I know if animals get into it the men will not clean it up ! I think that they should be trained not to throw the cans but stand them up out of the road !!! read more

Skipped my singular garbage can so I called and asked them why and they said we don't know we will send somebody out. They never sent anybody out. I called again, no answer at any extension. First mailbox was full and couldn't leave a message Second mailbox instead of beeping and allowing me to leave a message just said "goodbye" in the robot and hung up. read more

Just moved to Newton last month and I've had the worst experience with Blue Diamond. They set me up with service, was super accommodating and helpful until they got my payment and then it went downhill. This was the 4th week in a row we didn't get pickup, had to call 3-7 times each week just for them to tell us to bring our cans back in and have them back out Monday where they eventually did get picked up. Same thing happened this week except they never came today. Called and again asked to speak to a supervisor (none of them have called me back in weeks) and a rep called me back and said the service team said our road is too dangerous and cars are double parked all the time. We do live on a one way street but only one row of cars is ever parked AND if they came at 530 in the morning like they are supposed to there would be no cars since overnight parking isn't allowed. So frustrated. I had asked if they could put us on the Ayer's route for recycling as well and honestly just think they changed their mind about it and found an excuse rather than just telling me no. Even through all of the hiccups I've been super nice and calm and they decide to just call and say sorry we are dropping you based on one incorrect report from their driver. So after being transferred from Ayers Sanitation, Blue Diamond changed my pickup time without notifying me, defaced my mail box by putting a sticker on it that says, your trash wasn't out at your normal pickup time 5:30am. Then they picked it up anyway and when I attempted to remove the sticker it was like it was installed with super glue and half the sticker is still there. They have denied the use of the stickers, have promised me that they will clean it off and this has been since August. Now they have taken to removing the lids from my cans and throwing them down the bank behind them into my pine trees. Once the recycling lid was almost 6ft up into the tree, regularly down the slippery bank. When I speak to their customer service team, the first thing they say instead of I'm sorry or we will look into that, is "you saw our guys throw the lids into the trees?" Do I need to be down there at 5:30am to watch your personnel collect my garbage and recycling? read more

This place is horrible. Every summer my community hires this company to do the trash pick up from July to September 1st, every single year I have nothing but problems with them, from not picking up the garbage to throwing a trash can and hitting my car ? Yup that's right I caught them on camera rather than nicely placing the can back they throw it towards your property and hit you personal vehicle and then they have nothing but empty promises when it comes to doing anything whatsoever about any of it. I'm so sick and tired of them and wish I didn't have to use them during the summer. Honestly after this year I'm better off just taking the trash to the dump myself next summer then deal with them not picking it up at all and leaving it all for the bears. People can say what they want about waste management but at least they do There job and if you have issues it's dealt with, yea customer service sometimes takes a few to get through to but at least it's proper customer service and not some guy who picks up the phone with no care about what is going on and tells you to just deal with it ? Not happy. Yesterday they missed my house and said they would call today and make arrangements to pick it up if possible. I waited until 1:00PM to call back at which time they said I had lawn clippings in my bag and they would not pick it up. I explained this is impossible as I brought the garbage in last night so animals would not get into it. At that point the person on the phone implied I was lying and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, he disconnected the call. Upon going out to make sure I was not going crazy, I noticed the house at the other end of street has bags of lawn clippings out. I called Blue Diamond back to tell them they were at the wrong house, they simply took my name and number for the third time and I still have my garbage in myThis is one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever dealt with. Update: Blue Diamond customer service department contacted me the next day and was totally professional. They offered to have a truck come out today and pick up whatever I needed. I told the gentleman that I truly appreciate it and even more so that he responded to my problem. I just moved to 07461. I called a bunch of services. Two never got back to me, and the other was comparable in price but slow in responding. The gentleman who helped me was very responsive and took the time to explain options to me. So far, so good! I've had them for two weeks so far and no issues. I will have to utilize them for a small dumpster rental too, because we just moved and did not do a good job of purging, haha! I have had them for years but the service is getting worst. They come and go past my house during service days, the original driver told me that if they miss it on the way in they will get it on the way out. That is not happening now. I called to find out why they did not pick up and was told that it was in the wrong container by a person who should not be allowed on the phone. The container is the same one I have used since I started with them. So this statement is wrong. They now said they will pick it up tomorrow, we'll see. Agree completely with other reviewers. Contracted Blue Diamond for my residential pickup and have been appalled at their lack of customer service. Called the office to complain about them leaving some trash behind and treated with a poor attitude from go. After a back and forth the dispatcher told me to order roll off dumpster for a 4x4 sheet of plywood and three other smaller pieces. At the point I was infuriated as I'm a customer for residential pickup and they also are contracted for bulk pickup - neither which was enough to remove the "construction debris". Needless to say when told to get a dumpster I angrily replied, "guess I should just stick in up my f'ing ass instead?" They immediately hung up. When called back their manager "you don't need my name" said inquired to my level education and the said it doesn't buy class. He continued to berate me for using "profanities" and "abusing" his staff. I was shocked at the level of sensitivity in the waste management industry. When I explained I simply wanted the names / positions of the employ who hung up and himself to bring to the township's attention he refused and continued to be aggressive. Finally the manager said his name was "Bob" and refuse any additional information. He added "good luck" with the town as they won't care and he knows everyone. He again referenced my one use of profanity, completely wrong and inexcusable, as the cause for my mistreatment. Needless to say Bob and Blue Diamond lost another customer today and hopefully they will loose the town's bulk contract as well. We have no choice but to use blue diamond as our town contracts with them. We are unable to opt out. We had no issues at our former residences In the same Town. Foe some reason, the pick up person at our current residence has left our garbage behind, comes at unusually early hours (4-5am), and damages our property. We have tried to reach out, tried to opt out, and are left with paying for a service while also having to go the dump and recycling center. This morning our cans, that the garbage company broke, were literally thrown in the weeds/bushes. The amount of force/effort it takes to throw a giant recycling can that far is excessive. read more

I own a property in Washington Boro, Warren county. My tenants trash is continually missed and not picked up despite putting it out the night before in an easily seen location. When you call customer service to complain, they simply "yea" you to death. They don't care and do not pick up trash mistakes in a timely manner. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They couldn't care less about their customers. I ordered a dumpster for one day; to be delivered and picked up on April 25, 2016. Mario promised the dumpster would be delivered between 8am and 10am. It was not delivered until after 1:30 pm, even though they knew that I had only one day to load the dumpster. Mario promised the dumpster would be picked up before noon on the 26th. It was not picked up until after 2:30. When I called the company to ask why the dumpster had not been picked up, Tim was rude and belligerent. When I told him that another service provider could not perform the work because the dumpster was in the way, he responded, "I don't care what you have to do". I changed the schedule of the other service people from Wednesday to Tuesday.to coincide with the promised noon pick up of the dumpster. It shouldn't matter to Blue Diamond when I schedule other service providers. They promised to deliver and pick up the dumpster at certain times, and they do not keep to their scheduled deliver and pick up, and don't care if the customer is inconvenienced or not. Plus, they charged me $564, even though I had it for only one day. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more
