Electronic Recycling with a Mission…read more I noticed Green Vision Inc. while visiting ReStore as they share building space. The signage said that they offered electronic recycling. I looked Green Vision up online and was happy to find that they are a full service electronics dismantler. In addition, their mission is to provide individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunities to work and learn in real life job situations. Sounds great on paper, time to check it out in person since I had a few electronics items that could be recycled. I arrived today at around 3:30pm and walked into Suite 300 and made my way to the back office just to the right of the shop entrance. I asked if I was in the right place for electronics recycling and was greeted with smiles and advised by Tim that I was. I explained that I had a few computer monitors, a CD player, some remotes, a humidifier, and a small child toy to recycle. I was told no problem and that a cart would be sent out to collect the electronics. Everything was verified recyclable and free to donate. The cart was loaded up with all the recyclables and we were all set. Easy mode! While getting my son in the car, I realized that we forgot to check if we left any rechargeable batteries in his recycled toy. I went back in, found the toy in the cart and asked if it would be okay to check if any batteries were left inside of it. Tim told us no problem and got a screwdriver and asked if my son would like to open it up after putting the screwdriver in place. This got a huge smile from my son and he happily opened up the battery door. Batteries found and we were happily on our way. Tim and his team were great to work with and I will think of Green Vision Inc. first when I am in need of Electronic Recycling in the Morris County area.

And I saw the attendant wiping down chairs and constantly busy. I was quite impressed with the place and definitely recommend. Oh, and it's open 24 hours if you need that! They missed a few pick ups too- tried to say it was construction waste when it was *clearly* in white household garbage bags. We gave them grace but then they expected us to go pick up the garbage can ourselves. They were never going to deliver a new can to us. The reps we dealt with were rude and cut us off mid sentence. Loyalty means nothing to this company. We found another disposal service that is 1,000,000 times better. B'water Disposal promised us a refund in 30 days for the unused prepaid service- more than 30 days have passed and we have not yet received a refund. We filed a claim with the BBB and got an email with excuses and a promise of a refund. Still haven't received it. This company is not customer focused and they are full of excuses. Don't bother unless you like to fight to get what you paid for.

He also was honest about what might / might not be able to be donated, which was refreshing. Interestingly, we were given their name by another NJ hauler that we've used in the past, and had an excellent experience with, but who didn't service this northern area. They must have a good rep in the junk-hauling community.
