I would give them no stars if I could. This has been the worst experience I have ever had purchasing something this big. They do not come through on their promises. They tell you they will fix things and then do not relay it to service. Once you have a problem with something they do not return emails, or phone calls. I have to go in and ambush them to get any response at all. Now I am looking to get my 3rd temporary registration because they still haven't registered my trailer and I have a big camping trip coming up. So, I have to go out of my way to ambush them again and hope I get that temporary plate. I can't believe this place is still in business. Don't go in, don't by a trailer from them. This Utah location collect my money for the Nevada registration back on January 02, 2026. As of May 21st my RV is still not registered with my state and my state DMV does not show any money or record for this registration to date. The rep at blue compass told me that the dmv was backed up (5 months??) and I know this is a total lie. Also, they over charged me $2,900.00 for my registration. I have reason to believe they are deceitful and that they ripped me off almost $3000. Just beware when doing business with Blue compass RV, especially in Ogden Utah. Purchased a new trailer from them. The water system would leak every time I filled the fresh tank. Took the trailer in and they would claim they could not recreate the water leaking and say nothing is wrong with it even when we provided video of the problem. We told the salesman that we camp at 10.5k feet and asked if the refrigerator would work. Was told yes no problem. Our first trip out the fridge did not work and found out it was only rated for the Salt Lake valley at 4500k. I would never trust this company again and let people know of our experience and to avoid them. read more

More "wonderful" experiences with the service department at Blue Compass. On a recent camping trip, the water heater goes out. Will not work on gas or electric power. Odd and probably something above my abilities to diagnose. The wife points out we paid $2800 for an extended warranty and sure enough, the water heater is covered under said warranty. There is a $100 deductible. I drop trailer off and ask them to do a roof inspection as well. They agree. When they call me back, they tell me my visit will be nearly $500. Turns out there is a leaky gas regulator (covered) and other things not covered. Breakdown: $100 - Deductible for regulator. $130 - Roof sealant in a couple areas. $285 - Fuse not covered under the warranty. I look up the fuse and can order it on Amazon for $12. TWELVE DOLLARS. It took me less than 3 minutes to change as it externally mounted on the water heater. I do not pay the $285 but they DO charge me a "diagnostics" fee of $100. So I get out the door for ~$300. When I called the extended warranty company, they stated they already paid a diagnostics fee and that the dealership was double dipping. Shady to say the least. Last week my wife and I purchased a 2026 Heartland Sundance 24ML fifth wheel trailer to pull behind our Ram 1500 pickup. We also had them install a 5 wheel in the bed of our truck and an additional solar panel on the roof. We could not be happier with the experience, from our sales person, Bob, to our finance guy Brandon, or "M" in the service department to John & Mike in the shop. every one of them was FANTASTIC to work with, very courteous and professional. Communication between all departments was excellent and communication with us was excellent as well. If 5 stars is the best I would give them 8. We still not have been able to talk to the General Manager of Ogden, UT. Our trailer was in the shop since October 31st, 2024 and we just picked it up on Saturday, March 15th. Upon arrival at the site in Ogden, all windows were cracked open to the travel trailer during a snow storm. This is very concerning as there is probably water damage in the trailer now. Next, there was water leaking from the low-point drain once we inspected underneath the trailer at the dealership. We are hopeful that the pipes or pump are not damaged due to cold temperatures. Furthermore, upon arriving home (1 hour drive South), the TV and mount were completely torn from the wall and on the floor. The floor and TV that were just replaced the previous 4 months are now damaged. As you can imagine, this was not a pleasant surprise. We have a trip coming up in 2 weeks and our trailer is not ready to go. We have been trying to get in reach of the owner of the Ogden location to discuss what needs to be done, but no one is calling us and we are being ping-ponged from person-to-person. What a bunch of crooks! Was looking for a class B RV in 2024 and was convinced by the sales and finance team that a class C was a better way to go and they just got in a once in a lifetime trade in on a 2014 Navion. I paid $80k for it with 22k miles. Due to health related issues we only added 5k miles as it is hard for me to drive. I spoke with them several times on the phone and had to deal with a number of problems. Recently they told me they could give me $65k as a trade in on a new Class B. Went in this week and in person told me they could only give me $45k for my trade in. It's in the same condition as when I bought it and only want to give me 55%of what I paid as a trade in. Never got anything but the run around with everyone I've dealt with. I paid over 10% more as add-ons for paint protection, warranty, GAP coverage, etc. They also "helped" me finance trough a bank in Baltimore and when I asked how much they got from sourcing it was shown a figure of over $8K. They are great at the sales talk but lousy on service and customer support. Don't use! read more

Subject: regret spending money on your product To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my deep concerns and disappointment regarding the service and overall experience I have had with Blue Compass RV, located at 1010 S 1700 W, Marriott-Slaterville, UT 84404. On May 23rd, we brought our RV in for several warranty-related issues, including: A missing vent cap A non-functioning TV The driver-side awning failing to close completely A furnace that repeatedly shuts down, triggering the carbon monoxide alarm and shutting off the generator We brought these problems to your attention before our warranty expired. However, we were forced to follow up ourselves after hearing nothing from your service department. Upon calling, we were told that the warranty company would not cover the repairs and, furthermore, that Blue Compass RV would not cover them either--citing issues related to warranty terms. As of today, June 26th we still have not received any communication or updates. Additionally, when we purchased the RV, I mentioned that it pulls to the right while driving. You performed a front-end alignment, but the problem persisted. When I reported this, the salesman insisted the issue was resolved and declined my offer to take a drive to demonstrate it. I later contacted the alignment shop directly; they confirmed the RV was still out of alignment and corrected it. After their adjustments, the RV finally drove properly. Our experience has been extremely frustrating. Not only has there been a complete lack of communication and accountability, but the failure to resolve these issues has cost us the ability to use our RV during two major holidays--valuable time that can never be replaced. Based on this experience, I would give your company a failing grade for both sales and service. Zero out of five stars. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements in customer service and follow-through. At this point, I'd much rather turn it in and get my money back. Our salesman Kodiak was great and has been the only person that is helpful. The rest of the place needs some serious help. We noticed lots of issues with the unit and brought them up at the time of pickup. We were advised to have the Blue Compass in Hurricane, Utah do the work since we were heading that direction. None of the documentation was shared from Ogden to Hurricane according to my service advisor, which would have greatly helped. I cannot get anyone in Ogden to answer the phone or return any of the message left on voicemail to resolve title and registering issues. I left a message with the front desk to have the General Manager call me two days ago and I'm still waiting. How about that for customer service! Sincerely disappointed with Blue Compass RV Odgen. Hurricane will answer the phone but will not make an effort to keep us informed on the status of our claim, unless we call them first. To make matters worse, Alliance has been terrible to work with and seems to want to shuck any responsibility on making or authorizing a repair. I was dragging my feet to write a review in hopes that the situation would improve but after two weeks we are just getting lip service. We leave in two weeks to head back home and I fear we will have to pick up the fight with another dealership and only time will tell if we have to lawyer up to get Alliance to do the right thing and stand behind their warranty. I put my trailer on consignment to sell on the Blue Compass lot in Marriott-Slaterville (Ogden area) early spring. I was told I would be contacted at least once a week with updates. Although, I really wasn't expecting that often. I was only contacted when I called the salesman multiple multiple times to get an update. I went over to actually talk to the salesman in person. No wonder my trailer didn't sell. Someone had retracted pop out slide, and ripped the couch pretty much in half. The bars under the table are broken. One of the windows is broken. Somehow the batteries were totally drained, so much that the jack wouldn't even work. I have no idea when it happened, it could've been the first day for all I know. When I showed them the couch issue, they said they would immediately send it to their contractor that fixes upholstery since it happened on their property. After calling at least once a week for several weeks for an update, I was told that the salesman thought the upholstery guy had the couch for the whole time. Which he did not. Then the salesman told me, it's not fixable at all. The salesman offered $100 'out of his own pocket'. $100. For something that is not fixable. I don't even know what to say about that. I'm going to hand you find someone that can fix it, when the 'professional' contractor can't even fix it. Not to mention, I bought the trailer from them originally, and paid extra for the warranty on the upholstery and they won't honor it. A couple weeks ago, I finally went and just picked up the trailer, which no one even contacted me on why/when/how I even picked it up. Got it home. I'm missing jack blocks. Some clamps that hold the loading rack on, and both of the plug adapters. Which of course they say they don't have. I'm at a loss of what to do. They had my trailer all summer, I got it back and it's broken and they refuse to fix it. If anyone has a solution to these problems, I would love to know ideas. read more

First of all...I've not purchased anything. My experience has been with the nicest manager I have ever met. Justin miller, GM , Ogden, Ut. I was spending a few nights at the pilot, provided I wasn't run out, in my motor home. I get a knock on the door while relaxing. Justin offered me to stay at one of his RV full service spots on the property at no cost. Just an act of kindness to an RVer. Who does that. I took him up on his generosity and am totally blown away with his kindness. If I were in the market to purchase, I would give him my business. Maybe another day when I'm ready. Thank you Justin. We bought a new trailer at the RV and travel show in February . When we went to pick it up the fireplace didn't work. The freezer was missing the shelf. It took two months to get a new fireplace and shelf. Then we get it home and the tv don't work anymore they had pulled the wires out of connection to the tv when installing the fireplace. So we basically didn't get the trailer until May. The bad thing is we didn't get to finish the walk through on the trailer so we learned the hard way how to do some of the stuff. read more

They do not stand behind their sales, and I never ever go to them for any maintenance. I am paying a private company to do the exterior as they take your money and do not deliver. While I was talking to a service advisor at the counter, a person that I assume was the service manager started shouting across the counter area about the work that I was requesting. It was disrespectful, unprofessional, and dissenting. It came across as arrogance and I turned around and walked out. We went out looking for an RV in Feb 2024 and ended up at Blue Compass RV which turned out to be our biggest mistake! We did purchase a 2018 Primsa RV. We were told when we pick it up we would be shown EVERYTHING about how to us it. NOT TRUE!!!! When my husband went in to pick it up, he was taken out to the garage and was shown a few things about it. But he had to explain to the employee how to raise the table and lower it. My husband would ask questions about how to drain the water tanks, they did not know had to bring in 5 other employees to to try and figure it out. They did finally find and told him were it was and how to drain it. Never explain how to use the two different TV's one outside or the one inside. Sometimes the remotes will work and other times they didn't, and we had put in new batteries, still don't work right. The toilet did not hold water, we found this out on a camping. brought back in to have looked at and it was repaired and we had to pay for that! Which I didn't think was correct because that should have been checked before we ever purchased it. The batteries for the couch part do not charge up when the truck is running. Why is that? There was a lot more not shown to us. Our first real camp out, which was just overnight was up in the mountains with no hook ups. so we had to run off the battery. We had no problem. The next morning when we got ready to leave we were able to pull the slide in and go home with no problems. The second camp out was also in the mountains with no hook ups. That night we spent a lot of time outside just enjoying the evening. At one time we decided to turn on the TV outside to see if it worked and to watch it. We have never had a TV outside so this was something new and exciting for us. But what disappointment. We could not get it to turn on or do anything. Found out later that night when I discovered the TV inside didn't work for very long that we started to check things out. Hubby had noticed that on the control panel that the electricity was very low. So we started checking things that would cause this. Ends up the TV outside was still left on when we thought it was off. Thought we would turn on the generator to see if that would help but we couldn't get it turned. So it was dead also. Ended up going to bed early and having a very cold night because the furnace would not turn on. That morning got up and to pull in the slide but of course that wouldn't work either. When went bought this RV, the sales person encouraged us to buy the extended warranties just for this reason. I called the number on the card was explained what was going on. The person on the other end said I would have to find a mechanic or someone come and look at it. They could not do anything on there end. Thank her for NOTHING and hung up. Cost us thousands of dollars for these warranties and got no help from them. We are stranded and they can't help. I ended up calling the campground that we were staying in and they came and helped get us going. Thank you very much to the campground! Extended warranties are not worth it except to the ones who are collecting the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ No one told us that the air conditioner and the furnace start up by themselves when the RV is not in use. We found that out one day as we were walking pass it and heard a noise. Checked it out and the ac was running. Another time it was the furnace running. The RV is parked in the driveway not being used and it is either cooling or heating it self up. We were not told this happens when we went in to pick it up and be explained everything on how it works!!!!! Many times we have found it doing this...and it is not left unlocked where someone is getting into it. My advise to someone looking for an RV DO NOT GO TO BLUE COMPASS RV.......you could almost consider this place a scam. read more

I would rate them as a negative but i don't see an option. WOW!!! I am reading the reviews and have to agree with all the negative comments. We just bought a new toy hauler and we are experiencing terrible service. They actually switched chairs in the hauler from purchase to pick up. The ones they gave us are damaged. They also screwed threw the floor from the bottom to attempt to fox a squeaky floor damaging the linoleum- still not fixed. They don't return calls! They took 2 weeks to deliver the new hauler due to a generator issues- on a brand new unit. Inside speakers don't work, bed lift doesn't work, light cover fell off the outside before it got home(5 miles). Couch has a tear in the side! No Toilet Paper holder installed. How can you have this poor of service and not even be able to relax on the crapper!! The worst-ds is the salesman(Owners son), doesn't care and doesn't return calls. We have not heard an apology yet and we are 2 weeks out from purchase with tons of issues and very poor responses. We were there 4 times to pick up the unit the first time due to poor communication, service and equipment failure on the trailer. The finance guy Mike is also very dishonest trying to convince you with misinformation about terms and early payoff penalties. Completely dishonest. Do not buy or work with this business. There are much better options. I am giving them 48 hours to fix the trailer, if not satisfied we will be seeking legal action. What a cluster of a business. Warning to any owners who want to do a consignment there from a potential customer. My wife and I visited the store wanting to look at a specific motorhome listed for sale on the website. Meet with salesman and tour the motorhome. Salesman states how he has no information on the coach and tells us that this coach is being sold for the owner as a favor, because said owner stores the motorhome on the lot. Ask basic information, is there any maintenance record at all, he doesn't know, past history at all, he doesn't know. What year were the tires made (printed on the tires), he doesn't know. Also, no keys either, so I can't even start the thing. But he is adamant telling us that we can't finance it, as he repeats it 3 times. Not a problem for us as we have cash, but so far I am not getting any information, so I am not going to share any information. Ok, fine - ask if I can speak to the owner and he is adamant that I cannot, starting the owner doesn't want to be bothered. Ok - odd, but whatever. Take his card, go home, wife and I talk about how we like the coach but we need to know everything wrong about it and if the fixes can stay in our margins. Call the salesman back up the next day and set up a time to thoroughly inspect it, drive it, etc. disclose I have the finances, Salesman starts asking how I got them, I told him we already had it, but he keeps asking a few moments later, either because he doesn't believe me or he isn't listening. So we set up the appointment on Friday, with an agreement that I will call him later in the week to confirm timings. Day before inspection, I call him. I ask why the price has increased on the website since I talked to him last. He says that it was a corporate thing, but he will still honor my price. But right there I know he is lying. This wasn't a favor to the owner, it was a consignment, and the reason why I can't talk to the owner isn't because he doesn't want to be bothered, it is because Blue Compass wants a cut of the deal and won't allow owner/buyer to work independent of them, which if fine if they did their damn job. I get more annoyed because on their website, they are all about doing inspections to determine price, so they have all the data, they just don't want to share. So I give him my protocol - I will verify I have funds by whatever he needs, we can do a deposit as needed by his company, dad and I will look through everything, catalog what needs to be worked on, perform a driving test, take the information home, check the cost of repairs and give an answer on Monday but if everything no is within margins, pay and pick up. I put this all forward in good faith. He says that is not going to happen as he is only doing this as a favor to me and the owner, and he isn't making any commission on this purchase, and he can't spend half the day with me if I am not sure I want to buy this. I tell him that I am not going to commit to something until I have as much information that I can reasonably get, and he says this probably isn't the deal for me then. Couldn't agree more. So if the owner of an American Eagle sees this, contact me, we can make a better deal and make sure the salesman doesn't need to do his job as a favor. read more

HANDS DOWN, the worst customer service I have dealt with, EVER. They lie, break promises, give excuses, take months, don't fix what they said they did. When I called to ask if we could bring our brand new toy hauler in to be fixed, the service manager actually laughed at me...like he took pleasure in telling me it takes 3 months to get an appointment and then they will have your trailer for months. Be aware, the salesman Bob Nott will blame the service department. The service department will blame the manufacturer. The manufacturer will blame the warranty department. How many negative reviews can one company receive??? Your service department is a total joke. Never a reply on phone that no one ever answers. No responce to emails, other than just to say they received it. No reply even from the text on their website! Walk in in person, and one clerk just blames another, that isn't there at that time, and still cant even get me scheduled for service. They have no problem taking all my $$$ from the sales floor, it would be nice to actually be able to get it serviced so I can use it with what's left of this year. We absolutely had the best experience with Jason Christensen. We have been to so many dealerships at least 6 or 7 and by far the best experience. From start to finish, very honest, knew exactly where we needed to be out the door and made it happen. Even when got to their finance department the one thing you dread , very quick less than an hour to get the deal done and signed. We live in West Jordan but with the 48 minute drive to Ogden. If I could give this place a minus 10 I would. They have the worst service imaginable. The repairs take months and are often not done right, or they cause additional problems while fixing the initial issue it was brought in for. We had to bring our trailer there for warranty work and I can say that I thank God I never have to go back again. Well, I actually do have to go back because they shorted out my fridge while replacing my control panel. They broke my bed motor when they had to move it to fix my roof. This was the 4th time we had to bring it back, 2nd time for the control panel. The customer service is the worst, they NEVER EVER call you to update you on the progress of the parts or work they're doing no matter how many times you ask. The service guy lies about not being there when he's there sitting at his desk not answering his phone. They lied about replacing a part that was a warranty replacement. We had to take it back 3 times for that. I won't be bringing it back for repairs, I want them to pay for the next one. Never ever take yours there for service. The finance guy was the best we ever worked with. Too bad the rest was shit. read more

Not good customer service! First off we drove over 6 hours to get our new camper and they never told us they have hookups in the parking lot if you need to stay a night or two. So we went and spent money on a hotel. So that sucks. Then they had the camper for over a week to fix anything that need be and clean it before we pick it up and we got there and waited literally all day for them to clean it and when they showed it to us there was stuff broken that still needed to be fixed and they failed to tell us before hand that something big was broken and they had to order it and it's going to be awhile before it comes in. Most dealerships have free coffee and water or soda some even have pastries or doughnuts but this place has absolutely nothing for free while you wait. read more

I go pick up the trailer in May, the woman who was supposed to be helping me was again, without a personality and I felt like I was talking to a rock. From day one I was told they would fix many problems that were found during the walk through, almost 2 months later NO REPAIRS. Come to find out before they took it off there website most of these problems were accidently showed up on the pictures they took. Bad thermostat, Broken trim, floor. Their service department is a joke. No one is there to answer a phone call when you call to check on the status no one returnes your phone calls. Took my truck and trailer in to get the trailer brakes checked on a Monday. Was asked when I needed it back by. Told them I was leaving town Thursday to go camping. They had a vehicle for three days and haven't had an even gotten into a bay yet. When I press the service manager on this he stated well check back with us at 10 o'clock on Thursday. We regret doing business with Sierra RV. After agreeing to a cash only, bottom line price via text, driving to Ogden from Hurricane, UT and spending 2 hours signing papers and finalizing the purchase we were informed they would not honor the deal unless we financed the purchase through them for 8 months. In other words it was a "bait and switch" deal. We walked out and instead purchased our vehicle from a dealership in Las Vegas where they were more transparent and honest. Joanne & Bob read more

This review is for the owner of Serria RV. I purchased an RV from your establishment last year. I brought it in for warranty service thinking that being I bought it from you I will get great service even though I am 6 1/2 hours from you. Needless to say, it took your service dept. 9 weeks to fix a furnance and refrigerator. 9 weeks! Pretty ridiculous! I could go on and on with this story but I'll end with this. They dented the refrigerator door and broke a clip in the side refrigerator access compartment and didn't have the decency to replace it. Bottom line is, I would NEVER bring my RV there again nor will I buy one from you again.
