I have very few nice words to say about my experience with Collision Centerz. I wrecked my vehicle on 9/16/2021, my insurance did an evaluation on it and sent it to CC on 9/18. They took 3 weeks of going back and forth with me about when the assessment would be made to see if it would be a total loss or not. First lie they told me originally that it would take 2 days for the assessment to be made, and it took 3 weeks. Then they said they were waiting on the Airbag company to come make an assessment and that took an additional week. They said the airbags were backordered and once the airbags came in it would get fixed. Then 2 weeks later they told me the hood was on back order and it would take a couple weeks for it to come in, so every 2 weeks they kept telling me that it would be delivered in a week or 2. After the 2nd time of telling me it would be another 'couple weeks' and speaking to a body shop manager (and him downplaying the fact that I didn't have my car and it had already been over a month and my rental insurance had expired and that I was then left without transportation) I started making phone calls about acquiring a hood because they would never give me a straight answer, so I called the Mazda car parts national dealership and they told me that Mazda had hoods on back order until the end of December. Around the beginning of November I was told the hood would be in on 11/15, so I messaged the assessor on 11/16 and asked if the hood made it in and he said it would still be another week (thanksgiving week) so after thanksgiving I asked if it came over the holiday weekend and he said it would be there in a couple more weeks, so I called and left a voicemail with the owner about me getting the run around and constantly told things that weren't true, if Mazda has them on backorder thru the end of December why not just tell me that. Then got a message from the assessor stating the actual truth that he didn't know when it would be delivered. Every week I would get the same message, your hood is still on backorder and no news about delivery. Which was better than a lie. Then mid-December they finally got an actual delivery date for the hood, and it came in, and 2 weeks after the hood was delivered, they were still trying to get the hood attached, painted, and assembled. I was then told I would have it before Christmas, then after Christmas was told that it was being sent to the dealership because the keys needed to be programmed (my accident didn't affect my keys because the wrecker drove my car on to the wrecker truck). Then I was told I should have it by the end of the year. New Year's Eve I was told the dealership was still working on it, so I then called the dealership to see if there was an issue with my car or if they were just backed up. The dealership told me there was a major issue wrong with my car and it wouldn't connect to their computer systems to program it. The dealership had it for a little over 2 weeks to take the front end completely apart and check each wire one by one, and finally they were able to fix the issue, which was a cut wire. The body shop then told me once they got it back to their shop, they would get it cleaned up and detailed and I could come pick it up. The day finally came (1/6/2021) where they called and said it was ready to be picked up, so I get to the body shop and again the assessor downplayed how long it took for me to get my car back because there were other customers whose cars had been there longer, and they still didn't have it ready for them to pick up. They seemed to think it was a joke that they weren't getting cars repaired. I get in the car and there are smudges all over the windshield, grease on the inside of the door handle, the carpet on the driver side was dirty. I was not impressed with my experience and would NOT recommend anybody to bring their car to this body shop unless you have a back up vehicle and have plenty of time to let these guys pretend to be doing anything to move progress forward on the repairs on your car. read more
