I had the immense pleasure of purchasing a trailer from Darren Bideaux's. The salesman, Stuart, was a humble, kind, and incredibly helpful individual who really saw my needs and wasn't trying to take advantage of me. It was so refreshing to speak with someone who didn't have any agenda. When we needed extra help installing our Anderson hitch, he didn't hesitate to call over a tech to help us. He and the tech stayed with us for well over an hour as I drilled the holes and installed the hitch. They are an amazing crew and are honest. Ask for Stuart! WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!! This Business has a continuing turnover of employees making this a bad choice for purchases of any kind!!! I've been following them since October 2018 and there is no change because the owner is a JERK to begin with and is the cause for high employee turnover due to that FACT!!! The last was at least 4 bad sales managers within the last 2 years that I know of, this does not include sales staff who will lie to you!!!! This comes from a purchase in 2018 where they lied about the condition of the item and when confronted with their lies they just laughed and made up more lies!!! Please read all 1 star reviews verifying my REAL REVIEW of this RV dealership! If you go there get everything in writing and go over it, but won't make any difference because that person is no longer there and the owner will just do his best to try to make a fool of you and try to make you out as a joke and laugh at you!! So, this is how he funded another dealership in another state by cheating the customer and so he can cheat customers in a different state!!! I know these FACTS because even though I live in Florida, I still make occasional calls to the dealership as a possible buyer to gain information. Friendly staff, work was completed on time and as expected. My best experience to date at any RV dealership. I stop just short of 5 stars only because they are a bit high on their RV parts and supplies in their showroom, but no higher than other RV dealerships in this market. Great place! Had an emergency and they took care of us first thing in the morning. We are from the east coast traveling through. We happened to be spending the night in the RV park across the street from Bideaux. We were set to leave that morning and the hose to our water heater popped off! Water was spewing from under our camper. After emptying our "basement" to find it flooded, my husband found the source of the problem. Not having the proper fittings and crimp tool he went to Bideaux to see if they could help us out. The office wasn't even opened yet but the manager, Roger, told my husband to bring over the camper first thing. We did. The mechanic, (sorry I don't know his name) was so helpful. He took us in right away and promptly fixed our plumbing issue. He was very informative and took time out of his busy schedule to talk with my husband. We are so grateful to Bideaux! Hello, Went to dealership and indicated what we wanted. We were showed several RV Motorcoaches that were supposed to be matching what we were looking for. We eventually landed on a RV Motorcoach that we were told fit what we were looking for and purchased it. Turned out it was not as when we received the registration and upon subsequent VIN searches realized that it was not what we thought we purchased. When we returned to the dealership and inquired about what happened we were laughed at and ridiculed for not realizing we may have a supposed great deal and that we had an RV Motorcoach with a better engine. When I inquired about how the RV Motorcoach was listed on the dealership website and the inventory listing incorrectly, we were told it was a clerical error, For a dearlership that has been around for a long time and actually has two lots in two states how can this be a clarical error? Or was it a ploy to sell the RV Motorcoach one way and when the buyer complained as we did would laugh because of a supposed better deal because of paying for a cheaper RV than what was actually taken home. The issue is not whether we may or may not have a better engine or that we may or may not have a great deal. The issue is that we were not sold what we asked for. If this was a true error what happened to finding an RV Motorcoach matching as we asked for and swapping out the RV Coach?? Darren Bideaux RV has lost a customer. We will not be coming back to the dealership for anything in the future. If we are looking to possibly trade out In the future we will be going elsewhere. I'm in the market for an RV, either class A or C. I am pre approved to help save time for everybody. However, I went in, was told I can look at the RV's and they'd send someone out. NO ONE CAME OUT! The RV's were all locked, couldn't look at any of them. Poor customer service, you don't treat ppl this way. Especially when it's an easy sale. I stopped by because I liked what I saw. You lost a 30k sale today. This size of lot. And not one person would help me. I was finally asked what I was looking for on my way out. We took our TT in to have our point of use water heater fixed. We live in the Salt Lake City area. We were unable to find a local RV shop that works on point of use water heaters. Darren's had good reviews. They did not disappoint. They were also able to get us a replacement for our roll blind within a few weeks. Where as other locations said it would take a few months. Darren's is approximately a 40+min drive from SLC, but worth the drive for quality work. read more

My husband and I looked at several different places. We had visited Darren Bideaux a few times and Stewart was great to keep showing us different models. We ended up purchasing a fifth wheel and told them our budget and they came through with a great deal. They took care of the additional items we wanted to add, extra hitch, back-up and side cameras and got it done earlier than anticipated. Great experience! The Welch's read more

Buyer beware especially if you're female. I purchased a 98 MOTORHOME and the first thing I checked was tires. Verified with salesman they had good tread. When I got it home after a month I noticed the driver door was dented and the rear tire kept going flat. Took it into tire dealer and was told the tires are 12 years old and were weathering. Dealer said Bideaux had an obligation to Disclose as they should not have let me test drive it on freeway as it was unsafe. I paid for a bumper to bumper inspection to make sure everything worked and was safe. No problems were disclosed. I'll take the bullet for being so trusting and naive. Many things were not disclosed. When thier roof serviceman told me how bad the roof was that they were supposed to fix he said "I sealed it the best I could, but next season it will need to be replaced." I told them I no longer wanted the unit and the finance manager said the best they could do is seal it for the next 2 seasons. I felt bullied into taking it. I wont refer them. I would like to give a 6 Star rating for Darren Bideaux and his staff, but that is not possible. On the purchase of my motor home, they followed up with everything they promised, fixed everything that was promised, and also keep me informed along the way. BUYERS BEWARE: at the beginning of March we bought a camper from Darrin's. Several days later we were looking through the owners manuals and found a Manila envelope with a salvage title in it and the paperwork from the auction house. We had a loan on it so we called to get it insured and we're informed that our carrier didn't insure salvage titles. We called the bank to see if a new or different tile was available but they had never received a title. Several weeks of trying to get it and we called the DMV who informed us they had sold us the trailer illegally since we hadn't been told it was salvaged. We called Darrin's who asked how we knew it was salvaged And said they would be back with us the next day. They called and said we would need to return the camper because they didn't disclose it was salvaged and we didn't sign the correct paperwork and they didn't let the bank know it was salvaged so they dropped the loan. We asked for a reasonable price so we could keep it but They were completely unwilling to sell it at a reasonable price. I'm so upset and so are my 5 kids. Don't waste your time. read more

Do not reccomend this dealership! My first negative review ever, I want to do what I can to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Be cautious, dont take their word for anything, test everything out before purchasing. Long story short: Stewart is a dishonest salesman Darren does not care about his customers unless it benefits him Bill is also dishonest and rude Service cant say yet I just hope the roof doesn't start leaking again.... Property manager guy (dont remember his name) was the only person that we can say was friendly We were disieved, lied too, ripped off, treated poorly, alot of money, time, and energy wasted. We had purchased a trailer from them, and did not purchase the warranty big mistake! Stewart was our salesman, he was very dishonest. He had told my husband that everything worked, and there was a leak from the roof but it was fixed. My husband sent me down to do a walk through, (this was my first time buying a trailer, and he took full advantage) During the walk through, he said that it just needed a little TLC, it would be a perfect first time trailer. I took his word for it. For how old the trailer is it looks like it was taken good care of. We were not scared of putting a LITTLE TLC into it, at that price we could afford to fix it up a little bit. With this being my first time, I didn't think to have him hook everything up to validate what he had told me, nor did he offer. Rookie mistake. After our first time using it we knew we trusted the wrong guy. Absolutely nothing except for some of the electrical works. The ROOF started leaking, and caving in!!!!! There are to many problems, to list. So we reached out to Darren, he told us to bring it in and they would see what they could do for us. We had to drive 5 hours to get to the dealership! We met with Darren, he acted sympathetic to "our" mistake. Told us there really wasnt anything he could do for us unless we traded it in. The closest trade in he could do would cost us 3800 dollars. For a trailer that also has leaks, and we would have to buy as is. He told us that he would do some of the repairs if that was not something we wanted to do. Financially we could not do the trade in, so we left it there to see what they could do for us. Bill had told us that it would only take two days to get it serviced. So we decided to stay with family that lived closer instead of driving back and forth. Two days goes by we call Bill he tells us they are patching things up, to give them another day. So we do, we call the next day talk to service and they dont even know who or what trailer I am talking about! Finally the service manager says that they just pulled it in, to give them ANOTHER day!!! Day 5 Bill says it is ready to be picked up, I get there to pick it up, and I am treated terribly. After 5 days all they did was seal the roof...... all of the driving and staying with family for that?!? Did they give a shit, nope. read more

We made a spontaneous purchase of a new trailer mostly because we felt like we got a good deal. Stuart, our sales rep was very pleasant to work with. However, it was a spontaneous purchase and after sleeping on it we knew this purchase was not the right thing for us at the time. Yes, admittedly we should've made that decision before deciding to walk through their doors. The very next morning we reached out and asked if we could be released from the deal as we never took possession of the trailer and it was still listed for sale on their website. We were even told during the purchase that we were getting such a great deal that we were buying it for less than what they purchased it for. So we felt that it wouldn't be a big ask to release us from the deal. Oh we're we wrong. Bill, the sales/finance manager told us that the loan was already funded so we couldn't get out of it. I immediately called AFCU after speaking with Bill and I was told they were still waiting for paperwork from the dealer and the loan was not yet funded. A flat out lie by Bill? Sure looked that way. When I told them I called AFCU and found out that the loan wasn't yet funded they still would not budge in letting us out of the deal even though it was totally in their hands to do so. Instead they chose to mislead us (loan already funded) and take advantage of our situation. After much pleading on our part we were told that it would cost $1K to get out of the deal. They later said the $1K could be used toward the purchase of another unit within six months. Again we never took possession of the trailer and it was still listed for sale on their website. If we got such a great deal why not let us out? Someday we will be in the right situation to make an RV purchase and as a result of our experience here, we will be going to another dealership to do so. read more

In one word, OhHeckNo!!! The idiots in their service department had my rig for two weeks, and could not manage to fix ANYTHING. But these morons did manage to leave ALL THE LIGHTS ON, drained the batteries to the point where they would not take a charge. The Ogden area is full of places to take your RV for service, these guys are CLOWNS. And they wanted to charge me $175 just to put in the claim for the extended warranty THEY SOLD ME. read more

Went to them to buy a toy hauler. Found out that they lied to us. They advised us that our truck could definitely pull the trailer. When we later found out it could not without a air suspension. It weight down the truck bed so bad that it almost touched the tires. We were outside the 14 days to return it. Went to them to see what we could do. They advise us that they could not help us. Then after a few years having it. They called us and asked us if they could help. Why didnt they do that earlier. They seem more to care about the sell then the customer. Would not recommend them. I bought a new camping trailer from these guys and I got a really good deal. I had read the other reviews and was prepared for the worst, I had found the same model in california on the interweb at a very low price and they matched it. there were a few things that needed attention, typical of a mass produced travel trailer, they fixed everything I asked them too plus new batteries and new full size propane tanks. and threw in a 50 dollar gift certificate for their parts dept. everyone was nice and helpfull. read more

Biggest nightmare!!! Avoid these guys. They mess up on their service and then won't fix it unless you call ahead for an apt. And then When you bring it in they don't get it in when the promise. I'll be doing a chargeback on my card. I don't want to pay for some bring that wasn't done right and have to pay to have it done again. Piss poor service. read more

recently I purchased a new toyhauler from Darren Bideaux Rv. This was a huge mistake. Salesman didn t no product. Was selling me things that didn't come with camper. Next was the accountant that kept telling me how he was loosing money on this deal. Lie!!! Could not take trailer home because they needed to go through everything and make sure it was ship shape. This took a week and I called to make sure it was good to go they asured me it was. Of coarse when I got there it still had gravel on floor. Saw dust in heat vent. Bubble in flooring. Very weak water preasure. The service person going through the camper with me didn't no how stero worked. Bath fan also didn't no how to winterize camper or wear water heater was. Not familar with product. I had to bring camper back because they couldn't fix then and there. I live 1.5 hours from shop and they new it. Brought it back in left it there for 5 days. Floor was still bubbled. They said it couldn't be fixed. Sold me a quick disconnect for the propane which didn't fit my unit and they new what I had bought because I told saleman what I had just purchased. When I called to ask what conect I would need they said I would have to buy a new one and a adaptor to make it work. My sales man had quite and service rep quit on my second return. Nobody would say why. My advice would be to steer clear of these idoits. Terrible customer service. Not familiar with products. Avoid this place at all cost! About 2 months ago, my fiance and I went in to buy a toy hauler, and trade our old trailer in. In working with the salesman we came up with an agreement on one, and that's when things went south! Numbers got changed around and they ended up giving me way less than we agreed upon for my trade! I understand this is partially my fault for not looking over the paperwork more carefully, however I went back in to talk with the sales manager. What a piece of work that guy is! After a few attempts of working something out I finally filed a complaint with motor vehicle enforcement where I was then contacted by the owner. He is just as rude if not worse than his sales manager! At first he seemed concerned and like he was maybe going to do something for me and he said "let me think about this and pray about this to see if we can come up with something to resolve this" Well after 2 days of not being contacted I was contacted by motor vehicle enforcement again to see if we came to an agreement and I said no I haven't heard from him. Well later that day I got a call from the owner saying he had a $299 reimbursement check for me. Gee thanks... Later I found out that was a reimbursement for illegally charging me a freight fee on the trailer! Also, when I went to get the trailer, they didn't have it ready until an hour after my appointment! First off let me say that the sales Dept. folks, are very professional and helpful. The service department is another story...They have a lady service manager working there that is the most incompetent person that I have run into in my entire life. She lied to us repeatedly (4 times) about a part order, told us that it could take 6 months, when in fact the manufacture says it would be 3-4 weeks-and it turns out 3 months later, the part was never ordered at all! One time she actually yelled at us saying- "I told you the part is on order!" Shame on us for not asking for proof I guess? They are very slow with the turn around getting your tailer work done and back to you, and the service department isn't up to speed on status when you go in to talk to them. There are a couple of guys in the service department that are pretty good to work with, thank heaven, but if you see a blond lady behind the service counter run like hell. She needs to be fired!! We had a good experience there, until we met "blond lady". UPDATE: Blond Lady in the service department is no longer working there. The NEW service department manager, Roger?, was very helpful and sympathetic to our problems and took care of everything ASAP. He made it is priority. With the updated management I can move my rating stars to 4. read more
