Service was solid, the servers work really hard to keep up with a big floor. However, this visit was a great reminder of why I don't come to places like this for the food. I got six wings with Nashville Hot for the sauce, and I think the picture says plenty. The plate was anemic, with tiny wings and no celery or carrots. And then the taste...yikes. This wasn't Nashville Hot, it was Carlsbad Cringe. No tang to the sauce at all, it had almost a curry flavor to it instead. Huge miss all around. Sure, there were TVs. But operating like a corporate factory instead of a local restaurant led to a very cookie cutter experience, and not in a good way. Oh, and they never put on the game I asked for.

At first I thought it was whipped cream as you can tell by the picture. As my appetizer I chose the jalapeño soup. I have to say that it was amazing even if it had no real substance to it other than cream of something and jalapeños. I think potatoes would be a nice addition to this soup. For dinner I chose the 8oz filet and I added blue cheese crumbles to the top slightly melted. The steak was cooked perfect and the flavor was nice. The veggies along with it were cooked well with minimal butter which I prefer. My waitress was perfect. She came around just enough and not to much. Nothing bothers me more than to come around so much that I can't enjoy my food. I'm a happy medium kind of guy when it comes to that and she did a great job balancing her other customers and I. I have read some of the ratings on here and they are pretty much the same. If you are visiting from out of town - Don't bother with this sad excuse of a cesspool. If someone buys you a drink, you get these poker chips to redeem at any time through the night. The bartender's preferred method of handing off said poker chip, is to throw it at you. I'm uncertain whether people here can differenciate between darts and poker. And I'm sure we will never know. On another note, if the little gremlin people who throw poker chips don't recognize you (because you live out of town) they will stop at no end to remove you from the bar. Apparently becoming emotional or looking at someone weird (regardless of the lack of ability to move ones forehead due to botox) is fair game to be removed. All of this is based on the education and assessment of the well-bred and well-educated chip-throwing bartender. I'm seeing a severe lack of people skills and management. Shame. Frankly, I'm not 100% convinced that the owners care about these complaints because everyone who lives there tells you not to go there. If management cared things would change. If I could give a negative review, I WOULD. I would have a much better time listening to a garbage disposal with a spoon in it and watching Kardashian re-runs until my eyes and ears bled.
