Terrible customer service. Subscribed for over a year . Caught the mouse ourselves with a personal trap none of theirs worked. During the second year called to cancel services and was told we would be charged $200 for every one of our properties on the account. Essentially paying for all the services without receiving any services. Also I could not remove my card on file. read more

We contracted with Blue Beetle company to rid ourselves of mice in our house. They laid down some glue traps. Came back a couple weeks later and laid down more glue traps and snap traps. Two weeks later, we cancelled the contract because the traps (glue and snap) had not caught a SINGLE mouse during the entire time. Not ONE. During the entire month, not a mouse was caught. We're going to just get two cats and take care of the pests that way. Oh, and they're insisting on charging a $200 cancellation fee for a service that never would have resulted in getting rid of even one mouse. It's a scam. They had to have known their traps do not work. It's why they have such an outrageously high cancellation fee. They KNOW people are going to cancel when they see Blue Beetle's traps do NOT catch mice. Mind you, the technician was nice, but the service is useless. Save yourself some money and just get a cat. read more

I choose BB Pest Control KCMO because they promised fast next day service for termite treatment for a house that was under contract. They promised to be at the property between 8am and 12. I called the day before to see if it rained they would still come but no one answers their phones. I also called from the property the next day from 8am to 11 and no one answered. Finally someone texted me and said they wouldn't be coming because of the rain. They should have told me before having me wait 5 hours. So we rescheduled to the next day at 8am. They showed up at 9 something. They "guaranteed' they would be done before noon. They were not. The service guys were professional and very nice. I have no complaint against them. However, they do not value the customers time or deliver on their promises or guarantees. read more

I had to pay for an additional month after being informed that 2 applications were allowed as the first resolution to the problem. Started on the 31st of July, completion of the 2nd application on Aug. 21. They charged me for a 2nd month on that same day. When I contacted the office I spoke with 2 different representatives that informed me that they would check into the issue and get back with me. No one returned my call. read more

Blue Beetle came to our home, on time and we're courteous enough. The serviceman spent 15 minutes and declared he had patched the few holes were the mice could come in. Charged $250 and left. We still have mice and we have a clean house, two cats and again, we still have mice and the one week guarantee is worthless. I would have given zero stars if were available. read more

This company is just here for your money. I had them out to look at a mice problem we were having they put down sticky traps and were here for 20 minutes and charged me $270. Then I looked at my bank account and they are charging me monthly $70 for nothing. I saw them once and never heard back from them. Would highly not recommend!!! I am distraught with Blue Beetle Pest Contol. They charged my debit card $169.00 without rendering a service. Lisa failed to let me know that Blue Beetle Pest Control charged the day of service when I had to call to cancel because of my landlord. When I called to speak to a manager several times, the representative had a language barrier and had me on hold. Then, Lisa rushed me off the phone, and the manager, Debra, had a voice greeting that sounded as if she was lethargic. I will never do business with them again because they can not be trusted with your personal information or debit card. I still need to be refunded. I plan to take further action. read more

Unfortunately our experience wasn't great, we had squirrels in the attic and I reached out to get a second opinion on trapoing and repair costs. Having someone come out required a $100 fee, which I was fine with thinking they would then get to work. In the end it took two trips, and many phone calls (due to lack of responsiveness) to find out they wouldn't bid the job and wouldn't refund the truck roll charge (later framed as an inspection fee). If you have a critter problem I'd suggest calling someone else who specializes in this area! read more

Started out great, I gave them 5 stars and was very pleased, however that rating was very premature. It seemed with each scheduled service I had to ask them to come back out to do something that was supposed to happen with the scheduled service and was not. It usually was not getting rid of the spider webs. In my opinion the techncitions were not properly trained. I am now with another company. read more

I previously contracted with Blue Beetle for their quarterly spray service. For 3 quarters there were no problems outside of a few auto payments not going through. Come 2019 when I called to start my service after pausing it for the winter quarter (which was the process the company told me to follow) I was informed that they would no longer be honoring the previously contracted agreement and that they would only be doing monthly sprays and monthly billing. The price of the new service was going to increase from $300 to over $700 for the year. Quite an unacceptable increase in my opinion. Upon explaining the situation with the assistant manager I was told "When we originally began offering our Home Protection Program in December 2017 it was advertised as quarterly, but we decided in January that bi-monthly was the best option for our customers". IE They were not going to honor the previously contracted rate. I would steer your business elsewhere before working with Blue Beetle. Based on my experience - you never know if they will breach your contract and move you move to a new plan. read more

Definitely do not recommend this company. The information recommended at the time of inspection was completely different than the quote i was called about. Over 1k different. Then the turn around time i was given was 1-2, days and at the time of a call to set it up 5 days later wasn't until 2 weeks out. Poor customer service. read more

Had them do all the units in an apartment building I manage and live in. One week after doing the service with Blue Beetle, I was still seeing a lot of spiders and house centipedes. So I called them back and said that there is still a lot of bugs, she then tells me it takes time for the pesticide to work. They then tried to sell me on doing reoccuring service monthly or quarterly. In my experience on other properties, we only do it once a year or twice a year in spring and fall which would have handled 99% of the bug issues. It is now almost 2 months, still a lot of house centipedes and we tried to tell them the problem hasn't been taken care of and if they have some sort of warranty and they basically said no they will stop doing services for us. Their services does not work, probably used cheap products or they did not do it properly, I would recommend going with another company who won't try to sell you on some subscription reoccuring service. It should not take a monthly reoccuring service to stop live bugs from appearing all over your house or apartment. read more

I was able to schedule an appointment within the same day I called and the woman I talked to on the phone was extraordinarily helpful and understanding. Their in-depth descriptions of what products and services they provide (and even they bugs they kill) are really what convinced me to schedule an appointment after calling multiple other pest control companies and not getting the information I was looking for. The technician called when he was on the way, arrived on time, and addressed all of my concerns. He even gave me suggestions as to how to prevent the problem from occurring again. I called them three times to schedule an appointment and no one returned the call. Then they answered the fourth time and scheduled me for a two hour time frame. I took the morning off to meet them - no one showed up or called in the two hour time frame. Someone knocked on the door an hour late as I was leaving to get some work done.
