Pushy and tended to use scare tactics to try to pressure me into using their service. I told the first guy I was waiting to hear from a few other companies. Less than 5 minutes after hanging up with hi, I received a callback from his "supervisor" wanting to know why I hadn't signed up and what they could do to get me to sign up right then. I explained again I was waiting on a few other quotes, and that's when he kicked in with the dooms day scare tactics. This sealed my decision to not go with them no matter the outcome of the other quotes. I do not appreciate the high-pressure tactics or the constant harassment of repeated unsolicited callbacks asking me to sign up, even though I told them I would call back if I decided to go with them on the first 2 calls, then told them an emphatic no after the 3rd call. I don't recommend contacting them unless you want to bothered constantly. read more

Unlike other pest control companies I've used in the past, Bulwark reliably shows up on schedule. They always send notification before arriving. Both the office and the service men have been great to work with. We had a couple of wasps show up in between our normal quarterly, service schedule and they immediately came out to perform an extra spray. We are very happy with the results. read more

I am very impressed with my Bulwark inspector, Eli, who not only tells me the details of his inspection, but also advises me on how the mouse droppings coming from the vents can be an issue. For instance, what needs to be done for my health and safety. He then informs the landlord, Lynn, such as the need to have the H & AC vent system cleaned due to mouse droppings blowing out of the vents. Keeping both myself, the tenant, and Lynn, the Landlord, informed. Now that's what I call great customer service! read more

We rarely needed full exterminating and/or maintenance in the AZ desert, however moving to Missouri we had to get a handle on all the spiders and creepy crawlers in & around our new home, especially having children and pets. After reviewing other comments for Bulwark, we decided on the every other month plan and signed up. Phone customer service is always very positive. The first visit, the gentleman was really nice, however, webs were missed and 2 weeks later we still had reoccurring spiders trying to infiltrate and set up shop. Fortunately, Bulwark guarantees their work! I called to schedule a free re-treatment. That visit didn't go so swell. (Minus a star.) I waited at home for the expected 3 hour window, however no call, no text, no note on the door. Imagining their busy, I called to check in on estimated arrival; the customer rep (super nice!) said the tech had marked off the job was done. I explained I hadn't heard from anyone nor had anyone come inside where the main issue was, though someone was definitely here as our backyard gate was left open. (We have pups so that's pretty scary & I'm glad I checked before letting them outside.) Same webs were around our doors - The rep reached out to the tech, but was told he was too busy to come back out the same day, so again, I had to wait another 2 weeks (July holiday and they were booked up,) for the re-treat of inside. Annoying, but what can you do? I was pretty close to calling and canceling to look for another company, but waited for the 3rd visit by Bulwark to decide & we're happy we did. This is when tech Christopher Tanis visited. He called about 30 mins before arrival. Absolutely amazing customer service, personable & the reason we decided to stay with Bulwark! He acknowledged and listened to my concerns. I felt like our issues were understood & he took the time to address these, rather than just rushing through and trying to get onto the next job. He evicted the webs around doors and windows, which other techs left behind, spot treated the inside & also made certain to close our gate. He gave us a receipt showing the treatment (which we didn't get either time before,) and prior to him leaving, he ensured we didn't have any other questions or concerns. I'd definitely recommend Bulwark, but especially Christopher whom I definitely want to request for next treatment! read more

Without even a visit I was diagnosed with an "infestation" of rodents, not nearly equating with the information I provided. Was quoted an estimate of $500 - $1500. Gave one star because it was the only company to respond to my inquiry. read more

Found this company through yelp. Was quoted a price for the initial treatment and a price for the bimonthly treatment. Technician came to my home that same day but wanted to charged me more for the initial treatment and almost double the amount for the monthly treatment that i was quoted. He ended up leaving without doing any work because he showed up to do the job without everything that was needed. Might be willing to change review upon a technician actually showing up and doing some work but based on interactions from office people and people operating the yelp chats i have no choice but to leave a low review. Have been lied to several times in a short period of time which is causing me to think about cancelling the service and finding another company. When quoting a price they should be telling people up front that the price quoted is a baseline price and could go up depending on what the technician finds upon arrival. If they would have left the monthly price at $45/mo and not raised it to $70/mo i probably would have held off on this review but review has to be low because of the several lies told to a potential new customer. read more

Today I called seeking an appointment for someone to give estimate for pest control services. I was asked my address, then the agent promptly shared that he can see my location through satellite maps. He went on to tell me what I need based on the siding of my home, location near golf course etc without visually seeing my property. next asked for email and what would be a good time to come out. then asked to put my credit card on file. Keep in mind they have never personally diagnosed my problem. I shared that I'm not giving my credit card over the phone, prepaying, for services and that you have not adequately diagnosed my concerns in person. I shared with him over the phone this is not the company for me and hung up. All day I've received 3 emails with contracts to perform services and two calls. Frustrated at lack of transparency and hounding when I shut down the opportunity to work together. Not my way to do business. read more
