I pulled up to the drive thru, checked in on Yelp, and had to do a double take when I saw that all the Shipley's signage had been replaced by "Shimmery Donut" signs. (If you aren't paying attention, you'll miss it as it looks almost identical to the original, stylistically speaking.) Was I tempted to immediately burn rubber and drive away? -- YES! But, I decided to give them the ol' college try AFTER discussing 2 major concerns with the girl working the drive thru window. Me: Ok, my eyes aren't deceiving me and this is no longer a Shipley's location, correct? She: Correct. We switched names about 6 months ago. Me: K! Me: But what about the product, has it been salvaged? She: Yes, it's the same. Me: ok, PERFECT! (Crisis averted!) But, the crisis was NOT averted at all!
