BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

I had the Iced Latte with oat milk, no ice, and no sugar, which was amazing! It was also gluten free, dairy free, and soy free, which is a big plus for me. Just note that restrooms are for customers only. I would definitely come back if I'm in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan.

The bagel was good quality and the Smoaks salmon and cream cheese wasn't anything new. The bagel was the best thing honestly. There was also a faint odor throughout the cafe that wasn't pleasant. Loved the interior decor but everything else was a miss. Sorry.

Very relaxed place. Coffee definitely better than many in my opinion but a little pricy for what it is. Nonetheless it's good and hey its nyc so pricy is kinda expected. The sandwiches are good too, and they have enough gluten free and other "healthy" delights for everybody. It's quite a small selection/offering but the more you look the more you find that you didn't know was there. For ex they have some nice energy drinks as well, go figure? :) What help to bring it all together is the team of people working there - they are pretty much always friendly and I am there most weekends. TIP: come early on weekends for pastry or bagel - the good ones go fast! :( ** they close TOO EARLY for NY though!!! Overall a 5! read more

Blu cafe is a nice small spot for us on the blvd. Some limited food items and snacks. I haven't had anything other than a muffin and a donut but they were pretty good. They get their donuts from a famous place down the road that are more like "specialty" flavors. The coffee is pretty good also I just think it's a little pricey. $2.99 for a small coffee. There is a little counter space and a few tables to sit at. They are occupied often by people meeting for coffee or by others doing work on their computer. read more

Update: hadn't been back since the lid disaster. Was running late this morning and gave it another shot. The lids are the same and is currently leaking all over me. Please get different cups/lids!!! It's on securely but still leaks I don't get it. Or just go to Jubilee for cheaper coffee. Their lids don't leak. read more

Cute cafe very far west on Riverside Blvd. The coffee is very good and the staff were nice. Pre-made sandwiches didn't look very good at all and many of the pastries are pre-wrapped. Things just seemed high priced for the quality. But again, the staff were nice and my coffee was good. I just would elsewhere for a bite and it's not a cozy place to sit and have lunch. I would come for coffee anytime, though. Cute idea to write sayings on the sidewalk. read more

Closest little coffee spot for people on Riverside Blvd. Has the basics of what you need. Friendly staff and wifi for customers which is nice. I don't believe there is a bathroom for people to use which could be a problem if people want to stay longer but then again, I could be mistaken. They have recently added some more additions to the food menu. I haven't tried any of it yet. They do have a perks stamp card after 10 coffees get one free! read more

I didn't realize that the top floor closes at 5 pm sharp - there was a woman who was clearing the place out around 4:45, so I packed it up to go. Solid spot overall, but you get more for your money if you order a hot drink for sure.
