I love that LA finally has some sort of Halal Korean food representation. It was my first time trying Authentic Korean and so I went with my Korean best friend and we ended up ordering the Bulgogi Bowl and chicken (sweet and spicy and honey butter tenders) I can safely say 11/10. I also appreciated Asim for telling my best friend the most budget friendly option/combo and said he only said that because they operate in a Halal (ethical) manner. Of course my friend isn't Muslim so he didn't understand but when I explained it to him he was very impressed by the honest and ethical operation of Blossom Bites!

The food was so amazing, everything was 100% Halal. the staff were so wonderful and the service was also extremely fast and amazing. I ordered almost everything off of the menu and everything was amazing. The restaurant is owned by a Muslim, his name is Qasim. His hospitality was absolutely amazing. 10/10 would recommend everyone to come here whether you're Muslim or not.

The food was absolutely amazing! Service is great! And food didn't take too long for it to come out. The crisp that you want in a fried chicken is made to perfection

I was super excited about this place. Halal Korean!? Yes, please. Alas, I was highly let down. The chicken was not crispy. It was instead burnt and not flavorful. We asked for the honey butter and sweet and spicy on the side instead of on the chicken so we could have it at home without it being soggy. They instead gave us the soy sauce one that did not taste very good. It had a very pungent taste and I usually like most Korean flavor profiles. The sweet and spicy tasted more like American buffalo sauce or something. The sauces I could have let go, but that horrible batter and burnt chicken? I'm surprised they let that leave their kitchen.

The food is amazing as well as the service. I would recommend this place to anyone. I tried every flavor of the fried chicken and you can't go wrong.

Wonderful food and great hospitality. We enjoyed the meal and will visit again. The food makes up for the lack of proper outdoor seating.

The BEST Korean food I've ever had and it's Halal too. You need to eat it fresh. I wish it was open everyday though :)

We went to see the Mario movie because it was $6 Tuesday, and the movie ended a little after 9, so we rushed over knowing Hopdoddy closes at 10. When we walked in, they were already mopping floors with chairs up on tables on one side, but there were still a few people eating in the bar area, so we figured we were okay. We ordered a Thunderbird bowl (dressing on the side), the burger of the month, the Smothered Texan (free, because we're Legendary status) a doble fina margarita with a tajín rim, and a Sam Adams draft. I checked the time when we finished ordering--9:34 on the dot--because it already felt like the kitchen was trying to shut things down early. We sit down, chatting, all good... until we realize our drinks haven't come. We're seated in the bar area, so we can literally see the bartender chatting with a couple, NOT making drinks. Then our food arrives. Still no drinks. I ordered a chicken patty, which typically takes longer to cook, so there's really no reason for food to beat the drinks out. I check the time again and it's 9:45. I'm about to get up, but I see the bartender finally pouring the draft, so I wait it out. Then I realize my bowl came with no dressing at all, so I get up to ask for it. On my way back, I pass the drink pickup area and see my husband's beer just sitting there... next to my empty margarita glass. Meanwhile, the bartender is back to chatting instead of finishing the drink. I had planned to just grab the drinks myself to save the server a trip, but instead I'm standing there trying to get the bartender's attention--or at least hoping he'd mix the margarita while he talked. He eventually noticed me and started making it, but by then my food was sitting at the table getting cold, so I went back to sit down. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the Smothered Texan because by the time I got back my husband was almost done with it. The drinks finally arrived at 9:50. And to add insult to injury... the tajín rim was barely there. Honestly, I waited tables all through college and I get that it's annoying when people come in close to closing (especially on a Tues) but the experience shouldn't feel like you're inconveniencing the staff for being there. Between the missing dressing, the drinks sitting untouched, and the bartender prioritizing conversation over service, the whole night just felt off. Disappointing, especially since this has always been one of our go-to spots.

Although Black Sheep Burgers has a vast selection of hamburgers (they probably should have called the place Black Cow Burgers) I had a Chicken Katsu sandwich. It was very good. There are also a vast number of sides to order if you are very hungry. I was tempted to order the 40's french fries, but the sandwich was enough for me. Professional eaters probably would have ordered several sides. There is a large seating area outside. I sat outside.
