They are flawless, richly colored, festive, and fragrant. I can't say enough great things about this shop. My mom who lives in VA called Lana to order flowers for a 60th birthday party. Lana listened as my mom explained these are for a man who loves guitars and music. Lana went out and bought three keepsake guitar ornaments. Who does that these days???? Not a lot of people I've encountered so I just had to share how awesome this shop is. She made it extra special!! The vase was manly and the flowers were just beautiful. My fiancé doesn't live in the states and sends flowers for our special occasions/just because when we aren't able to be together. He's placed substantial orders ($80-150 arrangements), and every time has been a disappointment. Last year (May 2020) he ordered a dozen long stem red roses, and within a day they were droopy/wilting. The owner, Lana seemed apologetic and stated that the pandemic had made it difficult to get flowers but she had a fresh shipment coming. I understood since it was May, and yes, we were all adjusting to things. I did receive a new arrangement of yellow/orange roses, they lasted longer. 2 months later, received another arrangement, and again, the roses looked sad and wilted within a day. She stated that she had upgraded the arrangement already, but really, it just looked different than what was ordered. There was excessive amount of greenery. Lana sent tulips as a 'sorry' which also opened fully by the next day.My fiancé gave his business to another shop after that. Fast forward to this month/year. He mistakenly ordered from this place for our anniversary, and again, a dozen long stem roses looked a week old within 24 hours, the arrangement itself was not done very well. A lot of greenery, and bunches of roses on one side, sparse on the other. When he reached out to her this time with pictures, she said she didn't understand how they were wilted, since they were definitely fresh but that this mother's day was hard on all florists. Ok, but they arrived fully bloomed, so they aren't exactly fresh. The roses also arrived after Mother's Day. They did replace the arrangement again, but seemed very adamant that there would only be one attempt to deliver (which was no biggie, and the driver was polite in calling before he made it to my place.) Lana also requested the 'old' batch, which was fine, the driver even commented how there was plenty of water in the vase. I'm also working from home and my place is no warmer than 70 at any given time. Bottom line, if you can't fulfill orders with what people pay for, don't accept them. Every time there was a problem, there was an excuse. The replacements seem to be better quality, but there shouldn't have to be a replacement for every order. Others florists sent beautiful flowers that lasted 2 weeks during these crazy times, so what's really the issue with this place? If you don't want your celebration to be ruined, shop elsewhere. read more

The amazing hard working woman that owns this place has a special place with both myself and my wife. She did our wedding arrangements almost 3 years ago and as I do often, she's delivered and arranged many gorgeous arrangements since. This is our most recent one and she's always ready to help when I walk in last minute or call over the phone, I can't recommend this place enough! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Bait and switch! I ordered a beautiful arrangement that was pictured online for Mother's Day and the arrangement received was maybe half the value of the one I ordered! The one I ordered was tall, full of blooms, and had Lillie's (my mother's favorite). The one received was 80% greenery, no lillies, few roses and a couple of unbloomed stems. When I called to ask them to send the correct arrangement to fix the problem, the owner told me she had "upgraded" the arrangement to include roses (which it included roses anyway) and that she used unbloomed flowers which is why it did not look like the picture online. Total lie since she did not even address that there were no Lillie's included and the flowers were minimal compared to the blooming arrangement pictured online. A total scam! After getting off the phone with the owner, I realized that I had used them 6 years prior for a prom corsage where she convinced me to order small Lillie's and then when I went to pick it up, she switched them to white roses! After she told me to pick the Lillie's and pay for them! Bottom line, this business falsely advertises their flower arrangement capabilities and does not deliver close to the dollar amount you pay. read more

They did not deliver on date specified and offered no communication about it until I contacted them. They supposedly upgraded the flower arrangement to compensate, but I'd rather have them deliver on time instead. No apology, just a response stating that it's the busiest time of the flower delivery year and apparently other stores are doing the same thing. I would hope in the future they would communicate that they may or may not be able to deliver on a specified date in order for possible patrons to plan accordingly. read more

Spent 30 minutes picking out items. Finally picked something out I liked. Processed my card and when I called to confirm the order is then when I had a bad experience. She was rude answering the phone and answering any questions I had. The whole order I had made was items they were all out of! What if I didn't call?? I was just going to get told on Monday that they did not have any of the items?? I do not recommend this place one bit. I ordered flowers for my sister's graduation. The flowers they delivered were NOT what I ordered and they were already dead. Even the graduation balloon was deflated. The owner of this company (who we got in contact with) said that we are too hard to please and basically that it is not her problem. Do NOT use this company, very disappointing. Received a bouquet on Feb 12th as a Valentine's Day gift. The flowers seemed to have bloomed already and the fillers / foliage did not seem appropriate choice or color. There were gaps and very sparse. It was not appealing to the eye especially to have paid 61 and some change, which included delivery and tax. I was also not pleased with the ugly and raggedy cut tulle that was distastefully tied to the vase. I called the shop days later, to explain my frustration in a very professional manner. Owner answered and was extremely defensive as if I was lying. Then finally asked me why am I just calling because policy says max is 2 days, which would have been a Sunday by the way. She proceeded to talk to me as if she could do no wrong and because she did the flower arrangement herself there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with it. With that attitude, this florist will not be in business for long. Initially calling, I was not upset and just wanted to see what could be done to compensate, if any thing. By the end of the conversation, I hung up as she was talking and was very upset with the direction of the conversation. I gave 2 stars instead of one because the flowers arrived timely, but trust, I will not return. There are much better florist around. read more

I received a beautiful flower arrangement from them on a Friday. The next day the orchids in the arrangement began to wilt. I had stopped by the shop since I was in the area and met Lana. She was so very sweet. She apologized for the orchids wilting so soon and made arrangements to have a new one sent out on Monday. We also purchased some beautiful orchids for a dinner party we had planned on Sunday and they look awesome. I truly like going through a local florist than one of the on-line services as they hit you with so many extra fees. I intend to keep using Blooms from the heart from now on. Thanks Lana once again. I found this beautiful arrangement "Expressions of Pink" on 1-800-Flowers's website on 2/7/18 and asked if Blooms From The Heart could do something like this, just I wanted it a little bigger with a butterfly and balloon. Lana said she could do something close to it. She had a different color of one of flowers and that was fine. What was provided was not even close to my order. All of the carnations are grouped together at the bottom and then everything else on top. You can only see 2 roses in the front but Lana claims there were 9 to 10 so most were on the back. This was for my friend in the hospital. When I told Lana that I was not happy with it and I gave her a chance to fix it or I would cancel the payment since it was not what I ordered. She quickly got an attitude and said she could not please me and she was planning to pick up the flowers from the hospital. #1 I don't appreciate that instead of working with me for a solution she got a severe attitude. #2 What kind of decent person threatens to pick up flowers from a patient at the hospital instead of working with the customer. read more
