I came here today to get my eyelashes done and they did such a wonderful job! I forgot to ask for their names but I'll be coming back tomorrow anyway to get my microblading done here so I'll have their names by then. The receptionist is so nice and sweet. I originally was supposed to do my eyelashes yesterday but something came up. She was nice enough to squeeze me into the schedule today before my photoshoot and it's honestly greatly appreciated! I can't wait to see how my eyebrows will look tomorrow. Today, I got the silk eyelashes w C-curl (90 pieces on each side). I chose the cat eye look for a more dramatic look. I also loved how they had us sign a couple of papers and had us read some of the terms and conditions prior to getting the eyelashes done because I found out that the glue had some latex in it. I'm allergic to latex but it's not to a point where a small amount is a huge concern. It's definitely important to let them know of any allergies you might possibly have before getting anything done to your face! I went to Blooming Lash to get eye lash extensions for the first time and their work is impeccable! Located right under downstairs of Commisso&company. I live in Fresh Meadows, Queens but the drive was well worth it. Heidi, their top semi-permanent makeup and extensions expert was an absolute joy! She was so attentive, very kind, a tremendous assistant in helping me choose my "look" and a great host in answering all my questions! I absolutely fell in love with my new 70 piece set. As for the procedure they lay you down on a bed and apply a little eye mask under your eyes and set you to relax as the job is done. Reasonably priced, the process took about 50 minutes to an hour and the outcome was outstanding. Heidi truly was amazing. First time here and I absolutely loved it, did the groupon for 50$ and I was initially sketched out thinking they wouldn't do a good job since it was relatively cheap but they did an amazing job. I've had lashes done elsewhere and they felt so heavy and didn't look great. Here I was blown away with how comfortable and natural they felt and looked yet still were long and pretty they looked. Very disappointed. Used to come here for my eyelash extensions will be finding a new place. They used to give me upfront prices with their services, now they always deter you from the groupon deal. Was looking for the 50 dollar deal, ended up paying 90. Without tip. Apparently they have been doing the same to a lot of other customers. Also the service should never hurt. For some reason when the tech was working on my right eye it felt like my lash was getting pulled out. Never had that happen before. While I tip, I feel they are too pushy with tips. So you want to lure costumers in with Groupon, upsale them AND ask for high tips?! I was willing to let all this go as they usually do a good job with lashes, however a week later my lashes became twisted, quite a few of them. Too shady for me to stay. read more

The women who work here are so sweet and lovely but I think clients need to be aware of eye lash extentions. I didn't do my research enough and ended up with my eyes burning during the entire procedure . I also told her several times it was burning they told me it's normal. My eyes were so blood shot after and were hurting that night and the next day . I decided I needed to remove them , I couldn't sleep and they hurt and I felt like I had something on my lid. I got them removed by another place because this place wasn't opened on a Sunday. The lady told me that they did in fact glue the end lashes to my skin which is why it was hurting so much. I just feel if they weren't going to attach it to the lash like they said they were going to they should have told me . For some people glue on their lids isn't bothersome but for me it was beyond annoying and irritating . read more

I don't usually write reviews but the experience was just that amazing I had to share! I've decided to give Blooming Lash a try as my first experience with facial skin care. I was skeptical and nervous about spending money on facial care but boy was I wrong. All three staff members were extremely kind and polite, being patient and thorough in explaining all the numerous types of care they have to offer. Julie was the specialist who took excellent care of me. Although it was my first experience it was obvious she was adept and professional. Treatment was not rushed and Julie was meticulous in ensuring I receive the best treatment possible. The clean and comfortable environment along with the soothing background music adds to the great aura of the place. If theres ever any issues they're more than willing to help out and fix anything. Although my lash technician suddenly quit and I have to get them from a different person, she's also very sweet. Had a HORRIBLE experience today at Blooming Lashes on Main Street. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! When they had their open house I spoke to their owner and discussed different options and pricing for lash refills we agreed on a price and she wrote it on a card with my appointment time. When I went for my appointment today the other owner, Nancy tried to do a bait and switch and told me everything I discussed with the other owner never happened. The owner of Commisso & Company (the landlord) really said all the right things and promised to speak with them and get back to me. Nancy, the owner, told me she didn't care that I left, that they had plenty of customers and didn't care what I told people - Good luck to them.... I hope none of you go in there. read more

Personally, I do not feel a woman should change her Natural beauty however, my special lady felt a need to "enhance" her appearance and naturally, I was a little reluctant to go over the fact that she wanted to accentuate her eyebrows. Wow, what a difference a day makes. She is now more beautiful than ever and she only accentuated her eyebrows a bit. I cannot tell you how it makes me feel to see her big smile on her face, beaming with confidence. The establishment is warm and cozy and the girl at the front desk, I think her name was Nancy, greeted me nicely and explained to me everything that was going on in the other room with my Mrs. She was very warm, cordial and professional and I felt that we chose the right place and after I saw the end result, I knew we did. I went here with a Groupon. I have gotten my lashes done multiple times, however, this was the worst experience I have had. The wax burnt my eyes and my lashes are too long. I don't even think they used the amount of mink hair I purchased on the groupon. It has been two weeks and they look horrible. So I really didn't want to write a review but I need to. I came here years ago before lashes were even a thing. I knew nothing about them and it was my first time.. I went with a groupon. Now, 3 years later since my old lash lady retired I decided to try blooming lash again, not remembering anything negative from my prior experience. What a mistake! I always have lash extensions since getting them for the first time and I've tried many different places so I'm a pro with this. After getting them done at blooming lash, my right eye looked good but when I got in my car I realized a HUGE gap in my left eye.. it looked terrible! I bought the 90 Lash per eye package and felt there were not 90 lashes on each eye so when I got home I sat in front of my magnified mirror and counted. I was right. THEN within HOURS lashes began falling out. It's now a week and a few days later and they're nearly ALL gone. I treat my lashes very well and this has never happened before but I really don't recommend anyone going there. It's overpriced and not good quality. Went here around 10 days ago after after purchasing a Groupon for mink lashes. I've had eyelash extensions 3 other times but wanted to try a place closer to my home. I arrived for my 3:00 appointment at 3:04. The place was very pretty and clean. I had a quick consultation and application began around 3:15. She told me it normally takes 60-90 minutes but that she had another appointment at 4. I felt her rush through the application. I'm beyond disappointed. She did my right eye first which has held up decently (had one prior application hold up better, one worse, one about the same). My left eye however I could feel her completely rush through. Even immediately after I could see that they were uneven. She wouldnt even let me look in the mirror she just rushed me out! When I got to my car I actually got to look at my left eye which definitely had less lashes than the right and was much more uneven. Now 10 days later, about half of the left eye lashes have fallen out - my eyes look so uneven. I really, really wouldn't waste your time or money here, I'm so disappointed. read more
