The room for waxing was a bit small and not as nice as other places (even other threading salons) but it did the trick and she was gentle and patient. I originally was supposed to do my eyelashes yesterday but something came up. She was nice enough to squeeze me into the schedule today before my photoshoot and it's honestly greatly appreciated! I can't wait to see how my eyebrows will look tomorrow. Today, I got the silk eyelashes w C-curl (90 pieces on each side). I chose the cat eye look for a more dramatic look. I also loved how they had us sign a couple of papers and had us read some of the terms and conditions prior to getting the eyelashes done because I found out that the glue had some latex in it. I'm allergic to latex but it's not to a point where a small amount is a huge concern. It's definitely important to let them know of any allergies you might possibly have before getting anything done to your face! The first time, the woman gave me perfect dark lashes that lasted the usual amount of time. She was efficient, the salon is lovely, and I was eager to return. If I'd written this review then, it would've been glowing. The second time was a different woman. She was very kind, but the experience and results were awful. She took over an hour to simply tint my lashes. This is usually a 15-20 minute process. I was the only customer at the time, so it's not because she was busy tending to others. She initially applied the protective patches on my skin under my eyes but then removed them for most of the process. I had dark dye stains on the skin under my eyes through the next day. She didn't apply the dye the full length of my lashes, so I still had blond at the base. The color lasted less than a week (it usually stays for a month). It was a complete waste of time and money.

I want to share my experience with Enrique as both a masseuse and as the business owner of Face to Face NYC: Enrique gave me the "Ultimate Massage". When I came into the office at the lobby Enrique quickly acknowledged and greeted me. He went to make sure the room as perfect and then came back outside to take me into the room. The room was perfectly lit and air conditioned. He politely gave me time alone to get ready for the table and came back several minutes later to start the massage. The Ultimate Massage: I have never done a deep tissue massage before and so I was not sure what to expect. Enrique delivered in the perfect amount of pressure to apply onto my hard knots both on my back and my shoulders. He started off on my shoulders and upper back and I had such difficult knots on my shoulders it was so painful feeling him loosen them up gradually. But that "pain" was pain of relief and comfort. Enrique did a wonderful job on my neck, shoulders, and back. He then proceeded to the rest of my body: legs, feet, arms, and hands. I had no idea that I had secret hard knots all over my forearm and legs. Enrique used his professionalism and history of his craft by doing techniques that helped to ease up painful knots that has never been touched before; especially in a deep tissue massage. Overall: I felt very relieved and satisfied at the end of my Ultimate Massage that I had asked Enrique if he had time for 30-45 minutes more for a deep tissue massage specifically for my back and shoulders.
