A quick search of cafes in Belleville Ontario brought up this place - a combination bicycle repair shop and cafe. Despite the split focus, the baristas know what they are doing and the coffee is on point. I had a cortado, which was strong but not bitter and the milk was just at the right temperature. The place uses coffee from Pilot Coffee Roasters, one of the better cafe collectives out there. Only strike was the price at $4.50. That's more than Toronto prices. But I paid. And it was good.

Bit by bit as things broke or wore out I brought my bike into Frontenac Cycle for repairs. All parts that were replacing the worn out original parts were a definite upgrade in quality. As of this review my pedals, sealed cartridge bearings, freewheel, handle bars, ergo grips and thumb shifters have all been upgraded and the cost did not break the bank. I have been very impressed with the professional knowledgeable staff and hope to have a long enjoyable cycling relationship with Frontenac Cycle. It's nice to know these days where you can go for great service at a very good price . p.s. my bike now is nothing like it was when I bought it new,it is so much better.

The guy that dealt with me was really friendly, and assured me that they'd have things tuned up and ready to get back on the road by the next afternoon. Excellent. When I arrived back to pick it up, they almost let me leave without paying, which was a funny moment, but after things were settled up, I was able to see that they did a great job servicing my ride. I'll be coming back in future for sure. There is also a good selection of gear and accessories, so if you are looking for fenders, racks, gloves, locks, or lights, they likely have something to meet your needs.

This mobile e-bike rental service provided by Mike and Scenic Spin at a park with access to the Erie Canal trail was just perfect. He was punctual, professional, educational, and the bikes were excellent. We did a short fun-filled 2 hour ride fully explained in advance that was scenic and fun. We rode to Bushnell's Basin and on to a canal lock (it was lowered while we were there!) just beyond Schoen's Place in Pittsford. Groundhogs, cottontails, a lot of deer, and an uncrowded trail along the canal made for a great ride. His recommendation for ice cream at the Pittsford Farm and Dairy was right on target as well. The cost was more than reasonable. We'd do this again in a heartbeat.
