We were renting an Airbnb nearby and the house had two bikes for us to use. As we were a group of six we only rented four bikes from Ideal. However during our bike ride wine tour one of the Airbnb bikes broke and we called Ed to see if he could help us. He closed the shop and drove out to us with a replacement bike and took the bike which he didn't own back for us. This is really customer service and we were amazed at how awesome his customer service was. I highly recommend using Ideal bike shop for your bike rental needs while in PEC.

The customer service at this bike rental shop was absolutely nothing short of amazing. They were all so friendly, helpful and very funny. It cost us $60 per bike for a 2 day rental and the rental included 5 helmets and 2 locks at no extra cost. They also gave us all free water bottles that we could keep! There was a pretty large selection of bikes which was great so we got to pick which ones were the most comfortable. The woman working there was very helpful in planning out the recommended routes based on the quality of the roads and how busy they were. All of her suggestions were incredibly helpful. Although she said she has never been to any of the winery's she recommended a few that weren't on our list based on what her customers tell them. They also offer a service wheee they will come pick you up if you get too drunk to bike all the way back! If you're ever in the area, this is definitely the place to rent your bikes.

The next day I went in to pick it up, and Derek wasn't there. The lady upped the price by a large margin, and said she's the boss, what she says goes.. Excuse me? Nice customer service. I've heard horror stories about her before, and now have experienced first hand. Extremely rude. Fine, I'll take my business elsewhere.

There is also new and used products here! All of the used items are in such great condition! I found a few unique pieces that I can't wait to wear! Btw I spent over 2 hours here because there was so much to look at. Check out my pictures so get a sneak peak at what's in store for you. Seriously you must stop in here! Also....The owner is amazing and she will dress you up like a Barbie doll if you need help finding that perfect outfit for your next event. I am surprised that Canadian Tire, and other businesses in this centre have not demanded that the road be fixed. I am from California and I haven't seen a store like this in many many years. I felt like I was sick back in time because this huge department store had a little bit of everything. Not only did you get your tires rotated but you can also pick up hunting gear, cookware and a new Weedwhacker. I really enjoyed visiting Canada tire, if I lived in the area I would shop here all the time!

You can actually go inside the apple and climb to the top for a view of the entire area. There are also stalls in the front selling fresh apples and produce, restaurants and cafes, boutique shops selling fresh fudge and cider. They also have a bunch of family attractions like mini golf, rides, and a petting zoo. Perhaps, what they are most known for is their bakery selling fresh apple pies, apple bread, cider, fritters and variety of seasonal baked goods. There is also an open-kitchen display window so you can watch how they bake their products. We decided to eat at the smoke house restaurant. A full rack of ribs, fries and a blooming onion costed $55. The ribs were flavorful and tender but I thought fries and onion were just very average and overpriced. I would skip those next time. Since I was watching my sugar intake, I skipped out on the more popular items and opted for a few scones and muffins for the drive back home. The scones were so rich, buttery and very crumbly on the outside with a dense interior. It was so savory and delicious. The muffins were very good as well and to my surprise wasn't too sweet. This was such a charming little town. I would definitely come back again next time I drive eastward. I think their bakery items are really good and were very reasonable in price. I'll try their famous apple fritter and apple bread next time I come back.

I dropped by here for apple pie, and also picked up some butter tarts, apple fritters and apple & strawberry fritter. The apple pie is quite nice and has a tartness to it for the no added sugar version and I also prefer it cold/fridge. Some prefer it hot and warmed up with ice cream which is an excellent option as well. The butter tarts were also surprisingly nice, gooey in the center with a nice light pie crust. I wouldn't recommend the apple fritter or the apple & strawberry fritter - mine was a bit too much dough, dense and a tad dry and mot to my preference. The store also has some souvenirs to purchase as well as a few hot foot options too if you're passing by and want a touristy type of feel which I quite enjoy. There's also a lot of tour busses that stop here which makes sense as it's a nice quick stop right off the highway.

They also have another huge section of the store dedicated for hobbies and collectibles (sport cards, trading cards, comics, boardgames, figurines, etc.) Back to books - they sell old books at a great, low price! I found old series from authors I love, and books from a decade ago that I thought I'd never find. This is really the place to be! Books are categorized from various genres and are kept neatly and in alphabetical order by author's last names. The family who works there is super friendly, welcoming, and takes great care of the store. Thank you Bob! You were very helpful :)
