My wife became very disappointed by 3 well known hair saloons in the Brandon area and swore them off for ever. The last time she got her hair done which was a root blend trim and blow out. They ended up trashing her hair and it took months to grow out. She called Bloom to get a hair cut and the stylist asked if she could come that very day which she was very happy to do so. They gave her a consultation and then a few days latter had the appointment. When she came home from the salon she looked fantastic, and was smiling from ear to ear which brought out her true natural beauty and shine. This salon took her as a walk in, gave her a fantastic cut, and root blend so good you can not see where the blend starts and stops, her hair looks fantastic. She has self confidence again and her spirits are high once more. If a salon can bring a change like that to a person personality and get her spirit shining like a star, I give them 5 stars and look forward to the next time she goes to Bloom so I can see a different woman come home each and every time. I she looked beautiful. I recommend Bloom to anyone who wants excellent service, a stylist who listen to what the customer wants and deliver what the customer asked for. This was the WORSE hair cut! The stylist (what a joke) was the Worse! I told him what brought me in, what I was wanting my hair to have ...volume and flow, and leave as much shoulder length. He hacked my hair and gave me a flat brown football helmet hair cut ... cutting my hair too short! This guy didn't listen to me at all. I have thin hair and the cut he gave me makes me look like I'm bald in back. Yes, they cut my charge to only $25 after I complained but that doesn't make up for the hack job he did! The first time I went, the lady did a fabulous job. This was my second and very last time.... the gentleman who works there (Michael, I think) is Horrible! Very Very Disappointed . Ruined my hair. Charging patron the price for a expert stylist and giving me to someone who I think just got out of school. Vini Doesn't listen. She thinks she knows what she is doing but she does not. I went the first time color and low lights . Color turned out nice but paid a fortune for low lights that never showed up . When she cut my bangs she did such a bad job I had to pin them back and let them grow out. My mistake... I liked the color the first time so I went back just to get roots done and to fix the line which she didn't get from the other regrowth because she used the wrong processor when I told which one to use. 2nd visit. She proceeded to bleach my entire head . I kept telling her no I do not want my hair bleached or white it was a strawberry blondeish with red. I told her at least 5 times I do not want my hair white and she assured me it would not . The owner could hear me but was not watching what she was doing. I was white . She then said I will tone it . I'm still White .. My hair is fried. I only use color and processor on my hair to get to the lighter blonde with a little red in it. Its more reddish than blonde usually. So I went back in and told the owner the next day that I wanted to fix it I hate it . She said I had to pay for more toner and they had no appointments to fix except in the middle of my work day. they should of stayed late and fixed it. I told her I am not paying for them to fix their mistake. My hair is actually ruined . Also she charge a 30 .00 blow out just to blow my hair dry to see the color. I actually told her let me just do it . Then charged me 185.00 just for than and expected a tip . I could of gotten a better job at Fantastic Sams. Why would you be charging expert hairdresser prices for a beginner. You should be telling people she is in training to be a hair dresser and let us decide before they touch our hair. I have never paid more than 150.00 for my hair to be done correctly by expert color specialist. I am now paying another hair dress to fix her mess and help my damaged hair. Nightmare. read more

Excellent service, experience and felt very welcomed. I went in as a walk-in looking for a new hair salon since I moved away from my previous stylist. I received the color I was asking for and even an amazing blow out, which is surprising since I had such curly frizzy hair. My stylist Vinny knew exactly what I was looking for. If I can give zero stars I would. Mati there cut my hair four times and still didn't get it right. She completely thinned out my hair. She refuse to listen to what I was saying. The owner told me she was watching and saw Mati was doing a bad job and still did not say anything because she doesn't like making her employees feel bad but was completely ok with customer's hair getting ruined. The owner took a stab at it after Mati left and my hair is still uneven all around and horrible and even my 8 yr old noticed. So short and thin now and cannot even tie it. After spending $200 on my daughters hair - $140 - for what a tint - looked like nothing happened, the first time and then it wasn't right to come back in for them to adjust (which was still not the color she wanted) to making my 16 year old daughter pay another $60 for maybe just the product is unacceptable. And this is the owners fault, I don't blame the stylist - who by the way paid her own money to the salon owner to make up the difference my daughter didn't have the second time. Which I didn't think you were supposed to pay if they didn't get it right the first time ‍. The owner will nickel and dime you and it doesn't look like she takes good care of her staff either. My wife went in for highlights. She asked for a darker blonde color that was on a picture on their sign. It turned out having a orange/red tint. It took 5 hours and made her late picking up the boys from school. They accidentally left the hair on her face and dyed her eyebrows stripes! Each time they washed her hair they drenched her back. When asking about the price, she was shown a menu in the $65 - $85 range. She walked out with a $220 bill! I tried to talk to Vini who said she wanted to make it right, but wouldn't come off the price and her 2nd attempt didn't fix the color. I am really disappointed with my experience at Bloom Salon & Spa. My haircut (by Vini) was not what I asked for and when I asked for it to be corrected, it still wasn't what I wanted. I also had my hair colored. When I got home I noticed my skin was stained with hair dye in front of my ears and around the hairline. For $95 I expect better service. I will not be back!! read more

Spent $180 to have my formerly cute feminine pixie cut "cleaned up" to now look masculine like my husband's cut (ugh!), organic dye and "Botox for the hair" to de-frizz it. Vini doesn't understand pixie cut edges and gives a blunt cut like a man. She took scissors and started chopping before even asking me full details. When I stopped her, she acted mad. I wanted medium brown organic dye with NO reds. Damned if she didn't add "one drop" of freaking red and it turned out WAY too much! I asked why and she said I needed it. Whose paying and whose hair is it? The hair cut wrong, the hair color wrong, the back of my neck was FULL of so many bloody red scratches from a dull razor (stayed for 4 days- wish I could post the pics) . When asked to fix the hair color she said "come back in 6 weeks". So I have to endure 6 weeks of ugly? I think not! When I told her about the terrible bloody red scratches on my neck, she said "use coconut oil" and then "I have to go I'm busy". She simply did not want to correct her mistake. She does what she wants no matter what you are telling her. Stubborn women. Will NEVER be back! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Stay away!!! Horrible.. I got my hair dyed, cut and style... The owner who did my hair said she would honor the Groupon deal and not to purchase through Groupon. I had my my hair dyed to match my extension (which she did cut and clipped on my hair) when I went to pay she tried to charge me $178!... The Groupon clearly states "$27 for a haircut, blow-dry, style, and deep-conditioning treatment ($55 value)" ... The prices to dye hair start at $60.. My hair is not long just a little past my shoulders..I don't understand how it went all the way up to $151 just to dye my hair ...When I complained about the price she stated that she charged me to clip my extension in ( which is fine.. But I don't think it was a fair price... I complaint once again and was told that she charged me $40 to curl my hair.. The groupon stated that it's "haircut, blow dry, STYLE!"... Isn't curling my hair considered styling it?!... When I got home the curls were already falling! .. After complaining she gave me a "discount".. I ended up paying $168.... Will never go back! I am extremely upset & disappointed with my experience with Vini at Bloom Spa & Saloon, My mom is here on Vacation and wanted to refresh her blonde highlights and get a hair cut before spending the weekend with family. I sent her to Vini because I originally had received a good haircut from her, but my mom left upset. She asked for all over highlights and left with 2 different colors in her hair, copper like a penny and yellow instead of blonde! She was the last customer of the day, so I called Vini the next day about the problem. Instead of wanting to help me she called me a liar, and that I was upset because of the amount of money it cost instead of the work. Mind you my mom's hair is about 2 inches long, her uneven choppy hair cut, copper dye, and yellow highlights cost almost 200! If the quality of work was there money is not the problem. Instead of wanting to help my mom, as a buisness owner should, she decided to make the situation worse! Now to make things Even worse, my daughter wanted to get her eyebrows cleaned up, she told Vini not to shape them just clean them up. Needless to say she left with crooked eyebrows, they look horrible! I'm not one to complain but if something isn't right I will make people aware! I'm so upset! I am very disappointed with Bloom Salon & Spa. To think I have been a customer for almost one year. I have my hair, facial and eyebrow threading done here. I am a loyal customer but today really made me feel like my business is not important. I booked an appointment to have my hair done. When I got there I was asked to wait for few minutes..then 30 mins...then maybe come back when the hair stylist I requested was done with her other appointment or have other stylist attend to me.What is the point of making making a booking or taking it when you cannot attend to it?
