However, I'm going to take my chances and give her a shout-out for being the best lady lash in town! Great price and service, but don't think I'll be back until she can improve on the application of extensions. Please see photo attachments. A lot of lashes were applied directly onto my eyelid. This seems to happen when I go with price rather than quality. She gave me a lot more volume that I asked for which worked out better for my wallet but you can clearly see where the lashes are on my top eyelid and not attached to my actual lashes. I know they will either stick to the other lashes, causing it to look clumpy and unnatural, or fall off in a few days. Update: After carefully removing some of the eyelashes that were stuck to my skin and reading a sincere response by the owner, I want to bump my review to a 3.5 for her effort in showing she will look to improve. read more

This is the 2nd time I've done lash extensions but the first was in Taiwan and I wished they would fall out quickly bc I hated them. Coming to holly was a completely different experience and I'm hoping these will last as long as possible! I was recommended by a coworker and was pretty nervous with the length and I wanted them to look as natural as possible. Holly was accommodating and patient as I tried to decide which ones would work best for me. The process only took an hour which is actually very quick. I almost fell asleep a few times bc she's very gentle and it doesn't actually feel like someone is poking at your eyes. I'm glad to have found a lash lady where I can routinely visit! I've been following her Yelp page for quite some time and rated 5 stars There are a lot of business who offers cheaper eyelash extensions that ranges from $60-$75, but due to their 1-3 bad reviews I'm not taking that risk. Holly knows her thing; she listens and asks your preferences (length, volume and curl). Her services are a little expensive. She charges $100 for Classic, $130 for 2d and $170 for 3d. She offers $5 discount for cash payments. 2wk fill for 65 and 3wk fill for $75. Her place is inside Ivy Nail Salon, room was clean and qMeter Parking can be a little tough but there's a complex about 2 blocks south bound that you can park on if you don't mind walking. I have had an amazing experience with Holly. After having my lashes done consistently for 5-6 years, I have always been searching for an affordable "go-to" lash bar since moving to San Francisco, one that offers a high quality lash at a reasonable price. Holly was recommended to me by a friend, and gave me a full consultation explaining to me there are three types of lash: natural, 2D and 3D and she even let me see the differences between each lash by demonstrating the difference in thickness. As I prefer a more "full" look, Holly and I chose the 2D which looked amazing. As I have been getting my lashes done for 5-6 years, Holly was the first lash service who gave me two amazing pieces of advice to look after my natural lashes: 1. To take biotin supplements and 2. To use a lash serum to help my natural lashes grow longer and stronger. Both pieces of advice have helped my natural lashes bounce back, become longer and stronger and enable me to safely continue using false lashes. I must reiterate, no other lash service had ever given me this advice. I thank Holly for showing care for her customers and the health of their lashes. Finally, in the last year I have become very sensitive to harsh chemicals used in all lash glues. Every lash bar I have gone to use chemical clues and this has damaged my eyelashes and caused swelling. Holly was the first and only lash service to specially order chemical free and sensitive glue which has made all swelling go away. She was kind enough to listen to my concerns with chemicals and went out of her way to do research and buy a chemical free glue that works. Again, Holly cares for the health of her customer's lashes. Please also note, Holly is an independent businesswoman who has to run her business whilst doing lashes on her customers. She answers texts and calls almost immediately when I have contacted her. Because of that, she may text during your treatment but that is not something that ever bothered me as I fully understand she is running a business and it only takes her away for seconds from my appointment. I have been going to her since May of 2019 consistently every 4 weeks and not once have I had to address something I didn't like about my lashes or needed changed to the service I was receiving. I get the volume set from holy photos shown below. I've gone to other lash technicians and I've had lashes come off that day or couple days after Application because the lash technician didn't takee their Time to explain and educate me on how to properly care for my own eyelash and my extensions . My first appointment with holy went smoothly she's very gentle when applying and her station is very much so clean . After application she gave me a hand mirror and ask if everything was fine and if I wanted any changes . I didn't and I was very happy wIth the finished results . She gave me a eyelash brush to maintain my eyelash and a list on how to care for my lashes and extensions in between appointments and what to expect .. ect . Which I was so hAppy about and had never gotten at other places ! I asked questions on the list and she was happy to explain And educate me and I scheduled my next appointment and our relationship started there!! she isn't only professional and has her station very organized and cleaned she also takes into consideration What the clients like and their preferences. She knows I'm a stay at home mom and I've expressed to her in conversations that I like going to her because it's my time to relax and have ME time . From that day forward she makes sure the place is quite with white noise music and essential oils. I pass out laying in her chair in less then 10 min ! I'm amazed on that part because I suffer from insomnia and can never take naps . So this just goes to show you how gentle holy is during application and the care she has for her clients . Holly is amazing! I'd been searching for an affordable lash studio for the longest time. SF/ Bay Area lash extensions are SO expensive compared to the LA prices. I actually got a full set from another lash stylist, but contacted Holly when I needed a fill. She charged me $100 for 3D 3 week fill, but she deducts $5 if you pay by cash or Venmo. I went back to her for a 2 week fill for $80. She runs her business out of a room in the back of the Ivy Nail Salon. It's not super fancy, but it's clean with fresh paper on the comfy massage table. You can hear the tv and nail customers talking, but I don't mind since the prices are good. I usually park across the street at metered parking. I think the meters are $.25/15 mins, so a $1 for an hr of parking. Not bad! Holly is very easy to get an appointment with via text. She also is super helpful in giving advice on how to keep your lash extensions looking good as long as possible. I have sparse wimpy Asian lashes & she told me to start taking the Costco hair & nails vitamins to strengthen my lashes as well as to avoid dabbing the lashes with a towel after showering. In the past, at the 2 week point my lashes would look crazy with them pointing in all directions. Holly understands the amount of weight my natural lash can hold & uses gorgeous synthetic 3D to keep them looking good even when a lot of them have fallen out. I highly recommend Holly! read more

I've had eyelash extensions done by several technicians over the years, all found through positive reviews on yelp. While I've never had a terrible experience, I've had some lashes that were harder to manage than others, some that irritated my eyes, and some that just made my eyes look unsymmetrical. So when I found Holly, I stuck with her, returning for fills religiously every three weeks. She was a popular eyelash technician working for a very popular salon in the City at the time. Eventually, life changed, and I decided to go natural for while, with a boost from Latisse, of course. I returned over a year later, and Holly welcomed me warmly. She remembered me and my preferences, and made recommendations based on what was new on the market in terms of eyelash material. My preference before had been mink, but, as Holly mentioned, the problem with mink is that it loses its curl after a while. But silk seemed too fine, and synthetic felt wiry and unnatural. Apparently, I had been out of the loop for a while, because according to Holly, there are now synthetic lashes that feel light and natural, and unlike mink, holds a curl. While I was skeptical, I trusted Holly and tried this new and improved synthetic lash. It was perfect... full, nearly weightless, natural to the touch, and held its curl. Even with multiple strands bound on a single lash, it felt like nothing, and I would occasionally forget I had them on, and plop face down on my pillow. After a while, Holly moved on to her own location, conveniently closer to my own. Her prices came down, and I am able to get in touch with her via text on a whim for a fill. She always manages to squeeze me in within a few days. I've chatted a lot with her over the years, but I've also taken a lot of good, restful naps under her skilled hands. Love this little place! My experience was super relaxing and quicker than I expected! When it came to making an appointment, I made it a couple days before and Holly was super welcoming and accommodating!! She's located in a nail salon and has a small room in the back. She was super gentle doing everything. My lashes feel as if they are my natural ones and are not irritated whatsoever.
