Very Terrifying Experience! Ladies beware!…read more I went to amazing lash on 8-15-18. Complete Newbie of having individual lashes put in. I had a girl named Porsha as my lash stylist. She seemed nice, took me back and began the process. This is where it starts getting odd, but I thought it was all normal procedure. She tapped my eyes completely shut! I couldn't open my eyes even if I tried. Again. I thought that was normal. I then heard cutting sounds (scissor noises), so I though she was cutting tape, or the false lashes. Never in my mind would I have thought she would CUT MY ACTUAL EYELASHES OFF!! But she did. I didn't find this out, until later. Because my false lashes kept falling out in clumps and I couldn't figure out why? I went in to get a mini fill in. Different girl. She told me that the first girl, didn't set them correctly, so she wasn't going to put in that many and for me to come back in two weeks to get a full fill. (Again I just paid for nothing, and my eyelashes are still falling out in clumps) Well I'm beginning to notice that I can't see my real lashes?? Where the heck are they?? I move in closer to the mirror and they are gone! Brings me back to the beginning where I heard scissor noises and see the cuts on my eyelashes and OMG THE GIRL LITERALLY CHOPPED OFF MY EYELASHES! I have called numerous places, asked other people if this has happened to them or anyone they know, no one! I've called licensed estheticians and they've all told me they shouldn't even have scissors in their rooms, that they are not even suppose to touch your natural lashes. I have several friends that go and get this done and they have told me that it is not procedure that they completely tape your eyes shut. The second time I went in for the mini fill with the different girl, my eyes in fact were not completely tapped shut. I could still open them if I wanted. I don't understand why this girl did this to me. I won't be able to have anyone touch my eyes now. That's a trust that was broken. I feel like it was maliciously done. It has traumatized me no doubt. You go in to get eyelashes and come out with your own eyelashes chopped off. I have tried to contact that manager. I emailed her and the girl at the front desk made her aware. I have received no answer. I have called corporate and was told the owners would be made aware and they would contact me, and still no answer This is a very serious matter. Manipulating someone's face shouldn't be taking lightly. Update: This happened a while ago, it was handled, I got my money back, of course my eyelashes had to be nourished back to a healthy state and given time (lots of time) to grow back. They are still growing. But as you can see the owner has responded to my review claiming that the do not cut people's eyelashes off. I however didn't say all of them did. I can't say that. But the girl who did mine, DID. I also have emails from the store manager apologizing for what her employee did to me. The photos I have supplied, going into the store, and my emails to and from the manager are all proof. It took a while to get into contact with the stores manager. Seemed like she was never at the store. I could only get to her via email.

Furthermore, the lash technician seemed to have used predominantly volume lashes, with very few classic lashes incorporated into the set. This was not what I had requested or anticipated. As a result, the appearance of my lashes was more heavily concentrated and lacked the desired natural blend that a hybrid set should have provided. The lash line itself turned out to be uneven and wonky, which further added to my dissatisfaction. Additionally, I must mention that I took the initiative to reach out to both the corporate office and the Deka Lash location in Brandon via email to express my dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, their response was disheartening. They adamantly refused to provide me with a full refund and removal of the lashes. Their suggested solution was for me to make another appointment with the same "Master Lash Artist" or opt for a different lash artist altogether. This insistence on giving the lash artist a second chance to rectify their work is puzzling, especially considering the designation of "Master Lash Artist" implies a certain level of expertise and competence. It is particularly frustrating to encounter such resistance when the service I initially paid for was not delivered as promised. The fact that they claim to have a "strict no refund policy" seems unfair in this case, as I did not receive the service that I had paid for and expected. In my opinion, a "Master Lash Artist" should be held to a higher standard, and the opportunity for a second attempt at correcting the work should not be necessary. I discussed permanent makeup for my eyebrows with Nooshin for about a year before deciding on permanent makeup. My only regret is not having permanent makeup sooner!
