You literally have no idea what anything will cost until you get up to the counter and they've already done it and then you are horribly dinged. Furthermore, today I find that the monthly anti-inflammatory medicine that I've been spending for six months now ($93.61 a month) directly refilled through them, I can get apparently get through their online store for $25 per month. Finally, on my departure today, they hand me a tube of medicine that is $30 for a simple lesion. It's really irritating to know that I could've spent so much less on this every month had someone simply had the courtesy to inform me that I could get it for cheaper online. But no. Let's follow the Almighty dollar instead. Everything is always so surprisingly - and offensively - expensive through SBVH.

My 4 year old chihuahua mix developed a severe fear of vets and goes into a full anxiety when we get near petsmart. I thought this was normal until I found this clinic. When I moved to DuPont, I noticed there was a vet clinic right in town. I recently got a dachshund puppy and needed to get a vet check scheduled. I originally called banfield and their schedules were booked for two months. I called the DuPont vet clinic and they had an opening the next week! I brought my new pup in and immediately the vibes were so welcoming. The vet techs loved my puppy and my puppy loved them. They gave lots of treats to my puppy to build trust. Then Dr. Gigi came in and the amount of care she provided to my puppy was heart melting. Everyone here was so incredibly kind. They accept trupanion insurance as well. My puppy had the best time at the vet! They did such a good job distracting her that she didn't even notice she was getting shots lol. They even have appointments you can schedule at no charge to get your pet familiar with the clinic. They will let you walk around with your pet and give treats to show your pet that the vet isn't so bad after all. I am waiting for the banfield subscription for my older dog to end and then will be switching her to DuPont vet clinic. Overall, I love this clinic and I am so happy that DuPont has a vet office like this for my fur babies.

TLDR: got a bully? Don't go to DuPont Vet…read more From visit one with my rescue, we were mistreated. He was an untrained dog who needed care. I spent thousands on training. Nonethless, each visit we were treated as though my pup is something to be feared. I worked diligently to support him, providing treats and a muzzle as needed. I took the staff feedback yet I always felt like they did not care and were afraid. Feelings are not facts so here are some facts: He presented with allergy issues. I started cytopoint at $275 every 4 weeks. This totaled over $3,000. He was having paw issues. Never was he given a cytology. I continued to bring him every 4 weeks for care with no improvement. My concerns were dismissed from every staff member I encountered. I saw another vet and he was immediately tested and turns out he had staph. In his paws. Which required an extremely high dosage of antibiotics for 3 weeks and a prayer that his staph was not drug resistant He also had a significant reaction to anxiety medication for pre vet care. I describe it as doggy psychosis and detailed the scary symptoms. When I reported my concerns I was dismissed and in fact told to double the dose. In a text. From a Receptionist. No call. No concern for his well being despite me calling and asking for a call back. When I stated I would not give those meds again I was told pre vet med was not optional and I should consider a mobile or other vet. No asking how he was doing, is he getting better or offering care. I met with the hospital manager. She listened and affirmed my concerns. I appreciated her time. I checked in a few times and was told it was being investigated. More than 7 weeks after my initial meeting I was given a response via email that stated I did not share any concerns and that his staoh could have been uncontrolled allergies. There has been zero effort from corporate to rectify this, only blaming pet and owner. Yet again this team is dismissive and unprofessional. Never will I ever recommend this vet for any pet care. It is disgraceful and shameful the way I and my pet have been treated. The greatest disappointment is this vet center used to be exceptional- my previous dog had amazing care under the previous vets. Selling to a corporation has been a massive decline in quality of care and staff.

The vet techs and doctors are always so great at explaining things and transparent about costs. I can tell they genuinely care about animals. My dog was never socialized before we got him. We got him during Covid and he was (roughly) seven months old and was found in a barn in Yakima along with four other dogs. He's friendly, but always sooooo scared in social setting, especially at the vet. Timber Ridge is always so patient with him and they never make me feel bad about his social anxiety (something I've experienced at other vet clinics). On to my experience yesterday, I brought in my pup for an urgent care visit for a skin condition. I dropped him off and went home. After dinner, I looked at the clock and it was nearing closing time. I called and found out they had a vet emergency and it pushed everyone's appointment back. It was a Friday night, I'm sure the staff all had other places they would rather be, but they stayed open late, took care of the emergency, and all the pets under their care. I'm grateful I found a clinic that is so kind, patient, and caring. Keep doing what you're doing! I appreciate you all!

Healthy Pets is in a separate building across the driveway, where all surgeries are performed Yesterday I took Max in for his dental surgery. I was rather concerned about the anesthesia, so was quite relieved to receive a phone call after the surgery telling me that everything had gone perfectly. Several hours later I was able to bring him home having had two extractions. Aside from the spot on his leg that had to be shaved, when I got home and let him out of his carrier, one wouldn't even know he'd just had surgery. After 20 years at another vet practice, I'm so glad I moved my cats care to this vet practice. I've found the staff at both buildings, efficient, caring, and totally professional. I was given detailed written post op. instructions in addition to verbal instructions and any questions I had were patiently answered. For those that don't know Healthy Pets is the canine practice and surgery, while Oly Cats is where you take your felines for normal service.
