I showed a reference photo multiple times and had only one specification: please keep at least a half inch of length under my chin. My hair is straight and quite easy to work with, so I was confused when he just started cutting from the back and didn't check in on whether or not the length felt right to me at any point. He seemed sweet and did apologize when I pointed out the major length issue (my hair now stopped above my jawline) and seemed to blame it on the "wet to dry" transition. However, this length difference was substantial and I have a hard time understanding how a French bob could've occurred accidentally (he did request to take a photo of the before and after). This result was unfixable, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a discount, management were kind and did grant it. While I appreciated the 30% off they offered, I feel that I cannot recommend this stylist -- I now feel incredibly self-conscious and have to wait months for my hair to even reach a length that feels comfortable.
