I came into this place after a recommendation of a friend, I trust my friend which is why I came here. I came into this establishment and was looking to get my hair cut in layers and also keep my length of hair, now I HAD long hair and not once did the stylist ever ask me how much I wanted to cut or anything, as she wets my hair and I look down at my phone she takes her scissors and just CUTS my hair super short. Honestly I'm pissed my hair is shoulder length now after growing it for 2 years from shoulder length. Now I know my hair was not perfect it did have some heat damage at the ends but the fact that she didn't bother to ask and took it upon herself to just cut it is very unprofessional. I came and the ladies were very friendly. They told me what they could do for me and gave me all the pricing up front. My hair stylist also started a nice, non-intrusive conversation. This was just to get a feel of my hair maintenance habits. She then recommended a conditioner that would work for me. I liked that they really take their time when washing your hair. Also their Selena styled music playlist was relaxing. Bright and airy with AC kicking. They also have big long mirrors in front of each chair. Will return. read more

I started to go to Inoa Beauty Salon last year 2017. Its was the best decision I made, I went from having blue black hair to bright Red hair and most important healthy hair. Mrs. Janny is amazing as hairdresser, there are not much hairdresser left like her. Let me tell you she is amazing at doing blowouts, if your hair is curly she is your hairdresser. One more thing that I like is that she does not use the flat iron after the blowout, less damage to my hair. I love how my ends have the curl at the end, and this only with the brush no curling iron. I am telling you guys she is the Best of the Best. Go and try it for yourself, you would not regret it. read more

I got my haircut twice here and absolutely loved it. I have wavy to curly hair and was concerned at first but she did an amazing job. After going here my curls came back. They have never been this bouncy, ughhh I loved the volume. Unfortunately, this place closed down due to Covid and I was forced to go elsewhere. Nothing compares. My hair is not the same AT ALL!!! I was a walk-in this morning and they were happy to accommodate me. I have just taken down braids and needed a deep conditioning. She washed me several times and detangled my hair without pulling it all out. Carolina was very good and my hair looks amazing. I got a wash and blow out and then she went over it with the flat iron. My roots were super straight. The shop was clean and the lady even saw that I was getting a little hot and turned the fan on for me. I will totally be coming back here! read more

My roommate and I last min decided to get a blowout on a Sunday. We found this place walking distance from our apartment and decided to give it a try. First impression walking in; very clean, simple yet modern space. There were to stylists and both were very friendly and professional. Both were fluent in spanish/english. The wash was amazing. She took her time and washed my hair thoroughly three times, talk about stimulating my scalp. They put the rollers on and also placed heat protectors on my ears without me even having to ask which was also a nice gesture. Being that I have have been to three other shops and you generally have to ask. I told her I was not familiar with pinning my hair over night and she took her time and gave me a tutorial. I did not feel rushed nor pressed to leave. I also requested a trim with layers (which they do while your hair is straight) I was a bit nervous about the cut. Now that I have washed out my hair, my natural curls are amazingly healthy and I have a great shape. I highly recommend Inoa Beauty Salon for first timers. I will def be back to get my silkiness on in the near future! read more

They do a good job but don't think the have the right tools for natural hair. Too much breakage if you comb with wrong comb/brush. I really hate that. read more

Starting to get very irritated with this place. I used to trust them with my hair and the service is wet speedy but now I'm starting to feel very mistreated. First off; the lady who I prefer to actually do my hair because she does such a great job attitude is so freakin stink. Pretends she doesnt speak English, attitude always on high and then always make a face when you the paying customer tells her what you want. I hate to wrap my hair because it leaves it flat and I rather pin curl it because it leaves it bouncy for days. I don't care how short my hair is; I don't care how natural my hair is.... Don't make a face like I'm stupid I tell you what I want. I went off on the lady now turning to the owner to do my hair. Not only doesn't she take the same care as the other lady but she does my hair the complete opposite direction. Nvr not once asking how I want it.... But they're always discussing me in Spanish. So now I have curls facing upward instead of the typical downward bump. But wait there's more.... THIS IS NOW THE SECOND TIME I HAVE TO GO BACK FOR A SECOND TIME FOR THEM TO RECURL MY HAIR THE WAY I WANT IT....WHICH IS IT WHAT I ORDER EVERY SINGLE TIME. You would think me coming here damn near every two weeks you would know what your customer wants. Honestly.... My first visit here was quite some time ago and started out great. A glass of wine was served while you waited. The owner did pretty well with my hair. I was so pleased, I bought my niece back. We both have natural hair, however, my nieces hair is more coarse and thicker than mine. She seemed the be annoyed with the texture and didn't want to be bothered. In the end she charged me more for my niece...Wine was no longer served....and made my niece cry. I became angry and had to say something. If you only wanted to do easy to manage hair, you do not set up shop in our neighborhood. Neither of us will be back. read more
