Never really tried the coffee here. I was temporarily stationed at the IMPAC Bldg., and this place is on the walk from the parking structure to the bldg. Can't miss it. This place is a great study spot located on the Google campus. You can park in the Google/Equinox structure and get your parking validated by the super friendly staff. I usually don't write reviews, but this has seriously become my favorite place to get things done because 1. The VTM coffee will give you enough energy to power through ALL your work and 2. the environment is super chill. Finally, a not-so-crowded place to get stuff done and have awesome coffee. :) read more

I tried their Sea Salt coffee and it was delicious! It really woke me up and picked me up that sleepy afternoon. The service in the coffee shop in the business plaza is great. The baristas were willing to answer my questions and give proper recommendations. Their coffee was bursting with flavor, and perfectly balanced with the flavor of their milks. They offer Soy, (regular milk) and Almond milk. The "must try" items are their Vietnamese Coffee which comes in a standard and in a light version as well. Their VTM coffee is stronger than 7Leaves' iced Vietnamese coffee, which is great if you need something to perk you up in the morning, but it's also more bitter, so if you don't like bitter coffee the VTM coffee may not be a good choice to get. They validate parking and ask you when you order whether you need them to validate your parking, but the structure never seems to have any parking spaces available in the visitor parking-designated spaces in the two times I've attempted to come here. I ended up having to park over in the plaza where Starbucks and Wienerschnitzel are located and walking over, which isn't too bad since it's only a 5 minute walk. Can't wait for them to open up their new location in the Marketplace closer to home! Btw, if you purchase one of their T-shirts for $14.95, you also get one free drink of your choice! They have two different T-shirts: one says "Sleep is overrated" and the other says "Crack is bad for you"; I got the one that says "sleep is overrated". read more

Holy shit snacks! This is definitely one of the top tier Cafe Sua Da aka Vietnamese iced coffee ...omg yes! I'm so happy I found this place! Parking structure is the same structure as for equinox, they validate by handing you a second ticket. It's around the same price you'd pay in a Viet coffee shop but you don't get to talk to any chicks or see any skin. But you also don't have to drop a $10 tip... haha. So it's a give and take. But the baristas are super nice and the drinks are more likely than not to have no spit in your coffee. So yeah, to those who don't tip... good luck! And Godspeed! Place is awesome! read more

This little coffee shop is right across the way from the Equinox and serves up some legit Vietnamese iced coffee. They serve bagels, cronuts, and even strawberry croissants that look like Cream Pan (they buy theirs from another shop). Coffee was strong, and they also serve up a lite version with less caffeine and sugar. I'm a regular coffee drinker, and this coffee had me buzzing for hours. I don't drink coffee so this is purely a subjective review. I like minimalist design and cleanliness. The staff is really nice as well. It feels like a fresh breath of city air despite being in the OC. The coffee shop validates your parking (side comment: why does this even exist? I equate this to the unnecessary gated OC communities - we are in the middle of nowhere, and what heinous criminal are you protecting yourself from?) Using the bathroom is like a weird psychological experiment. You have to go through the doors next to Google's building but you can't re-enter. Yes, go ahead and try to open the door, and try the door next to it if you doubt yourself. Instead, you have to exist the Google building and go through the coffee shop's front door again. Confusing, but then again this is the OC. read more

This place is kinda hard to find. Turn by the Google building and then go park in the structure in front of you to the left. They validate parking. When we got in the two guys working were beyond nice and even let us try a couple things. We got an iced VTM which was alright. Really strong. but the hot one was way better. I'm glad that a good coffee shop opened walking distance from my office. It's always nice to take a break and go for a little walk. I usually get the LVTM (Lite Vietnamese Coffee). It's pretty strong and not as sweet as the regular VTM. I also love that they have crushed ice cubes :) The service is always fast and friendly. read more

Coffee. Need I say more? Okay, the coffee is strong, fatty and flavorful. You taste real arabica. Cappuccinos have nice froth and sizable amount of milk but enough espresso for you to know it's a cappuccino. There was a disappointing selection of food items, but who cares - if you're there it should be for the coffee. Note that finding the place for the first time is not easy. Went here with my daughter because she has been wanting to go. We got there and they were not busy only 1 person ahead of us. I ordered Vietnamese coffee and an espresso drink. While we were waiting more people came in. They made our espresso drink then the employees started having a personal conversation. I was in a hurry and they kept talking like they had no customers. Then they proceeded to do the orders for the people who came after us. Mind you I was waiting for a Vietnamese coffee which only requires being poured in a cup. They finally gave me my drink and we left. I got in my car took a sip and spit it out. So bitter and bad tasting. Easily the worst Vietnamese coffee I have ever had. I couldn't drink it. Chicken Banh Mi & VTM iced coffee (light ice) AKA "#thefix" for me. Tip: order ahead of time. They make the coffee as soon as you check in but the food is ready when you arrive. Only down side like everyone else mentioned, the parking situation, yes its free, yes its at a business complex, but irvine people live in the FAST LANE and also want it easy to be in and out. also, they're TWO stops signs about 10 ft apart from each other. I've been a regular at this shop for over a year now - that alone should speak volumes on how much I love this place. Located across Equinox and right next to the Google building, this is an easy place to spot after you park in the structure. They're notorious for their iced Vietnlamese coffee (VTM) and it is the best coffee in the business bar none! I've had my fair share of viet coffee growing up in San Gabriel Valley but nothing compares to this. Oh and don't get me started how strong the buzz is... makes you wonder if it's more than just caffeine . The staff are also great people who will go above and beyond to take care of you. Expect the cream of the crop customer service. Especially from the shop's manager Jon! Within 2 weeks of finding this place, I've tried three different drinks here! My favorite is the iced VTM coffee, it's potent and tasty! The iced black VTM is pretty good but I prefer having the milk because it's just a better combination. The sea salt coffee was a pretty big disappointment--the coffee was too sweet and the sea salt foam didn't really balance it well and I've had sea salt coffees before so it's not a new concept to me. I enjoy this place but finding parking can be tough during the morning when I really need my coffee. read more

My limited experience was awesome: I asked the baristas to surprise me. They asked how I like my coffee and I answered, "Strong, not sweet." They made me a cup of skinny vietnamese coffee and this cup was delicious. Right after the coffee was ready, they made sure I liked it and if I didn't, they were going to make me another cup. I come here often to study and the staff is super nice, especially the owner. One time I was there near closing and he just gave me a bunch of pastries. Score! I love sweets. He seems to have really great rapport with all of his customers. It's nice to see such a cute little coffee shop in a corporate plaza. It has an urban hipster feel to the decor- raw wood, succulents, and chalkboards. The VTF is my faveeeee. I tried the LVTF (light version of VTF) with coconut milk today and I like it even more! OMG and the banh mi sandwiches! They aren't like traditional ones, but they are so tasty and healthy. The tuna bacon has these little bacon bits like I've never had before.
