This is an annual event from Blizzard. This game company has a few very popular internet games. My daughter and I play World of Warcraft. At Blizzcon we were able to play new content, listen to developers and buy lots of stuff, too much actually. The event was fun but the tickets were difficult to get and expensive. I did enjoy going but won't buy tickets next year.

Outside Blizzcon 2016. Could easily say 2015, or 2014...

Three years now, three (3) years I've been to Blizzcon. After the first year, the shock and awe of Blizzcon was gone and it's mainly because of how unprepared, untrained, and incompetent their employees are. It's easier to get a tour of the White House than get a ticket to Blizzcon. Between the site crashes, the wait times, and other glitches, it's a bitch. Thanks Blizzcon. The second year I went they sold the goodie bags online, but didn't keep enough for the actual ticket holders. What incompetent person let this happen? Have you ever seen a grown man of 26 tear up because they ran out of goodie-bags and he wouldn't get one? Well I have and it made me sad. The kind of sadness you get when you see a three year old fall to the ground and scrape their knees; they open their mouth about to cry, you see it in their eyes as they gasp for that first breath of air, and let out a bellowing burst of agony that churns your heart like nobody's business. Basically, not a fun time, but we were assured we would be contacted by email to get one... right. No frickin' email. Thanks Blizzcon! Third year I stood inline to pick up a limited-edition print. Apparently their wazoo computer system that's supposed to let them know what they are out of didn't work so well so Blizzcon wasted an hour of my life I will never get back. It had that stupid Blizzcon logo on it this time, so I guess it's good that I didn't get one. Dealing with their staff, pretty horrid customer service (again). Thanks Blizzcon! Blizzcon is fun to do this number of times: One (1). $20 parking? Use your Disneyland annual pass and park in the Toy Story Parking lot.

Blizzcon is a gaming convention for those who aren't aware. Blizzard entertainment has been around for 25 years and hosts an annual convention where name brand games like World of Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and their latest game Overwatch! Hosted once a year in sunny Anaheim, California, it is in the convention center and is closest to Disneyland! Beware, if you're interested in going, the tickets sell out within seconds. You must be on the page within their sale time and that will hopefully secure you a spot to purchase a ticket! Tickets this year were $200 each, paired with airfare for us out of staters, hotel and food, it can cost quite a bit. They have the entire halls from end to end of various different stations. It's def a sight to see! Gaming companies are also here to promote their hardware and you get a ton of swag! Razer, with their beautiful laptops at 2k starting point, Corsair, Newegg, Rosewill, ASUS/Republic of Gamers, NVIDIA were all booth exhibitions this year and gave out tshirts, scavenger hunts, and free swag! JINX gaming apparel and the Blizzcon merchant store is where you get crazy and spend your money on everything! Only reason I rate it 4 stars is everything you want to do has a line. You're a guy? Long line to poop. Lines for beers. Lines for food. Inside the convention center and outside with all the different food trucks. Lines for every demo and area are super long and I remember waiting my first year at the Blizzcon march line 3 hours to buy stuff only to realize 60% of the stuff I wanted was sold out. Things go out of stock quick so I suggest purchasing merchandise on the day of badge pickup to not waste any time! This year we wisened up and wasted no time in lines longer than an hour and finished up! They now have a darkmoon faire area and Hearthstone tavern for folks to relax and enjoy scenery so those are fun compared to my first visit when they wasn't created just yet. Finally, enjoy the band, its typically a main headliner for the closing ceremonies! Past performers have included Blink 182, Linkin Park, Metallica and many others! We have come 2 years and it's been a ton of fun to see the big reveal and gather around Blizzard fans and employees alike! At the 10 year anniversary, they even brought DJ Kristian Nairn aka Hodor from game of thrones to perform! Enjoy and remember, FOR THE ____________!

Blizzcon 2011 was a whirlwind of fun, excitement and energy!! It's like we took our favorite Blizzard games, added a helping of Disneyland, a good dose of IRL guild drama, a pinch of camping, and a dash of high-tech theatrics and rolled it all into one amazing weekend. The highlights of my experience: ~Meeting, and reuniting with members of my guild! ~Sitting through fantastic discussions... next to people who ALL knew what the presenters were talking about! ~Play testing Diablo 3! ~Play testing SC2 Heart of the Swarm! ~Play testing the new WoW expansion area, Pandaria! ~Seeing all the cool new stuff from gaming vendors! ~Meeting the Dev Team for StarCraft2, and getting them to all autograph my commemorative program (Squeeee!) ~Watching the live final SC2 Showdown between IMMvP and IMNesTea! ~Taking home all the fun souvenirs and swag! I go every year... and each time outdoes the one before. This truly is my Christmas!

When to Blizzcon this year. It was my first time, and definite not my last time. This is probably the fastest selling even ticket in the planet, blizzcon ticket sold in seconds that right. Is extreme hard to get it, i was not able to buy the ticket despite try to buy in the first few second, second time was the charm, finally able to buy the ticket. $175 might sound high but you getting a very nice goody bag which can sell for $150 to $300 depend how fast you put them in ebay. The ticket is included the music concept which last over 2 hours this year was Foo Fighter, not fan of them band. If you are into any of Blizzard game, this is definite like holy grail convention, most fan in the convention are very knowledge and hardcore gamer. Majority are adult in their late 20''s to 40's I had see some 60's and older as well. U has to plan your schedule according or you you miss things. the longer line was not during the event but during the pick up ticket day before, next time, lesson learn pick up later up in the night not early. The line in the change name is terrible long is like 2 and half hours. For god sake. There's lots of food stand but they are over priced and not a lot of choices. Food and Drink ain't allow to go inside, if i were you wanna save some money, walk to the food court in the Hilton. You can save money and is much better food quality and bigger portion size. Restroom inside is terrible especially the main stage area,, too small to handle such large crown, other thing during opening and closing celemory, if you come after they start, they won't let you in despite there's seat, you won't get good seat if you arrive even 1 hour earlier of a main event, some folks just camp there all day. despite most of the stuff can watch online later on. especially those trailer. If you are collector this is wonder-place to buy your stuff, most of the stuff on the store isn't available online. and also there several contest for prize but often the line is very long or longer than game line.

If you're a gamer and have even a casual interest in Blizzard games, it is a definite bucket-list entry. If you are INVOLVED with an individual for which the above description FITS, it is worth going just to see them have one of the best times of their life. It's a bunch of like-minded individuals geeking-out on their mutual interest... what's not to love? And not a pony in sight!

4 exhibition halls, 3 awesome games, 2 days of madness, 1 spectacular event. Blizzcon 09 just blows my mind. WoW in the literal and the game.

Second best Con ever! Can't beat Comic Con but this is a must if you can. Worth it every time.

    Christine H.

I've gone 1st and 2nd year. It's always a good time but I wish you can test the games a little longer than 15 mins at a time. If you want more time, you have to go back in a long line. They usually have a ton of contests for prizes. PvP, costume contest, best voice from the games contest, and recently they have "quest" like games for everyone to enter and get real life "loot" like alienware laptops, posters, etc. The event sells out every dang time in a matter of days so if you're ever interested, you'll need to be ready. It's pretty expensive because a lot of people want to go to it so I guess they can charge a high fee. They now also have pay-per-view option so you view this event anywhere in the world.

It's actually pretty inspiring and makes me want to own my own venue so I can give people this experience! To be completely honest, there were 1 or 2 things that didn't fully meet my expectations but the amazing service from the staff really made up for it and those things were not anything major!! I would not recommend this venue based on how my security deposit is being handled 3 weeks after…read moremy event. Immediately after my event, no damages were mentioned at all. The only communication I received was asking where an item I rented (the projector/VIBE) was placed. I told them, they found it, and that was the end of it. Shortly after, Alex (the COO) emailed me stating that my security deposit would be returned by this weekend. It still hasn't been returned. About 4 days after receiving the email from Alex , Chloe texted me asking if I had received my deposit. I told her no and sent her Alex's email confirming the refund. 2.5 weeks after my event, she suddenly claimed that damages were found after my event. This raised immediate red flags. - The venue had cleaners come in right after my event, so they would've notified her of damages just like they did after her other events. So I don't see what's so difficult about showing me the cleaners claimed that the kitchen door was locked. Obviously, it wasn't if she can't provide proof. - Chloe herself said she would come in the following day to confirm the rented equipment was where I stated. So again, why weren't these issues brought up immediately if there was truly damages done to her venue during my event. - I had already contacted her the next day asking about camera footage, and she told me the cameras do not retain footage past a short period Despite all of this, 2.5 weeks after my event, I received this message: "After your event, our cleaning team reported a few issues... 1. The kitchen door was locked and a locksmith was called 2. A crack found on the wall 3. A broken door stopper" When I asked for video footage or proof, none was provided. Instead, I was sent a screen recording of text messages between Chloe and her cleaning staff. Her cleaning staff said these issues occurred at another event the following weekend after my event. Immediately, when I said thats not the date of my event she unsends the screen recorded message between her and her cleaners.... They are now claiming that I locked the kitchen door, requiring a locksmith, yet when I asked for proof, I received no response from Chloe and Alex. As of now, I am still waiting for my deposit. This entire experience feels like an attempt to retroactively justify withholding a deposit. The lack of transparency, delayed claims, and refusal to provide evidence is extremely concerning and unprofessional. If you value clear communication, integrity, and lawful business practices, I would strongly suggest booking elsewhere

Apparently, it used to be a club, but has now changed into a very high-end and cool venue for weddings or whatever type of event you want to have. One of the first thing you notice when you turn in is the amount of ample parking. There are two secured Gates that open up to a huge parking lot, definitely not cramped for sure. And it has plenty of handicap spaces which is very nice. Walking into the open air pavilion, is a real treat. What a great space! This would be a great place for outside dining, or having a band play out there and dancing, if you didn't want to be cooped up inside. Definitely tons of possibilities at this venue! Inside, there is a bar on one end and a stage on the other with a huge open area. This would be perfect for a wedding or something that's held inside, if you did not want to brave the elements outside. Company on site, and can pretty much do anything you need. And that's not all, there is an upstairs area that is perfect for an overflow room, or a VIP lounge, or just a place for say a wedding party to take a break, or anything you really want to do with it. It even has a nice little outside courtyard that you can sit and get some fresh air. I could almost write a book about how awesome this place is but suffice to say if you live in Orange county and are looking for a premier venue to have your event at, I don't think you could do any better than the colony House.
